FINAL FANTASY: XIII. (The RP.).

Posted

All right everyone! today we begin the RP!! i'll start off :], ahem:

Across the World, at all of its known settlements was a message being spread, by the man named "Taison Moore", saying "My fellow subjects, rejoice! for today, the Fal'Cie have chosen yet again a L'Cie, now the Thirteenth, destined to lead us all into prosperity that is the next World after this one, rejoice!! my fellow people, rejoice!!! for soon, very soon....the start of the "Reimaging" will begin." said Taison whilst people all over the World started to exactly, as he put it, rejoice at the words of a new L'Cie having been born and will go on to create a whole brand new World for them through the journey that is called the Reimaging.

(This song plays, as the news by Taison is spread out practically everywhere-https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=As6Bv1e68hE.).

"Is that so? Alright then, if you excuse me" the Oracle gave a slight bow "Oh and...be careful around the girls, they tend to be a little...affectionate with outsiders. See you in the morning."Giving another bow, Aura turned around and walked back to her home.Meanwhile, Reya went inside one of the many houses."I'm home!" she yelled "Anybody here?!"Suddenly, a book came flying from one of the doors towards the girl, hitting her right in her face and making her fall."Be quiet, you noisy girl" a woman with pale blue hair in a long braid said while walking out of the room. "What is the reason for all the noise?"Reya slowly got up and rubbed her nose."Mama, the Oracle asked me to join her in her search for the other l'cie. So I was going to get things ready for tomorrow morning""And pray tell, who gave you permission to leave Heimdall?" the woman asked with a stern look on her face."But I want to see the outside. Please let me go Arya."There were a couple of minutes when the two girls stared at each other, until the older one laughed, making the younger one smile."I don't see a problem with that Reya, not against the Oracle's wishes. You can also learn more and bring that knowledge back to help the guild""Thanks Mama! I'm going to get things ready!"The young girl yelled in excitement while giving the woman a hug then running into one of the rooms. Once inside she began to look for stuff she thought would be useful.

Dagnet stood still for a bit, then lurched over to where drinks were kept. For about a minute, he rummaged through bottles, occasionally taking a swig from one. He finally came away with a bottle of young wine. He marched to a large tree near the edge of Heimdall and sat down heavily at it's base, resting his back against it.

Taking in a deep breath, Dagnet pushed up his mask slightly to allow excess to his mouth and drunk from the bottle as he watched the party.

His inner voice was baffled. The big l'Cie had never reacted like this, to memory.

<Wait...are you remembering something? Give!>

Dagnet took another big gulp of wine to drown out the voice's words.

Aura finished packing things that were necessary for traveling and was getting ready to go to bed."This is it." she said. "This is were it starts. From tomorrow on, we are going to try our best to bring forth the Reimaging."Slowly, the oracle laid in bed and sighed."Please...at least just for today...let me have a whole night of sleep" she closed her eyes, hoping that the cries of those who weren't part of the living, could let her sleep.Reya was still looking for things to take with her."Containers for samples, notebooks, quills and ink, clothes, weapons.""Time to sleep Reya" Arya's voice came from her own room. "Or else you will be unable to sleep""Alright! Night Mama!" the blue haired girl replied. "I hope I didn't forget anything"Jumping into bed, Reya was finally ready to sleep.

Iona nodded towards Dagnet when they were introduced. Unfortunately, she could not hear the voice that was supposedly there. Iona decided to stay quiet the rest of conversation. She did not have much to input. After all, she didn't know too much about what they were doing. But she knew it would be dangerous, and danger was what Iona liked. As the group separated, Iona made her way back to her home in Heimdall. She began to pack, before realizing that she shouldn't need too much. She brought her normal outfit, cute, but still practical for fighting. She also brought her weapons of choice, her bladed staff, and daggers. She also grabbed a pendant that was given to her when she was chosen to be a l'Cie. Supposedly it had magical power, but Iona had never witnessed it. Still, it was a good thing to have along. Feeling prepared for the trip ahead, Iona jumped into bed, and began to sleep.

Dagnet sat and drank as the party continued to go on. The voice wasn't prattling on, so the wine must be doing its job.

The giant l'Cie sighed. He felt...peaceful. He knew he had felt it before, but couldn't remember when. So long ago...

"Mag..." He murmured as he fell asleep.

Above him, a raven watched the sleeping man intently.

It was way past midnight and the party was still as lively as when it began. Aura who was sleeping, not so peacefully, suddenly woke up drenched in sweat."For the love of Etro...can't I have a peaceful night just once?" she asked to no one in particular. The Oracle crept quietly into the edge of her bed and sighed. Slowly getting up and going to the nearest window."Not over yet?" she said while looking at the sky. "It is way past midnight."The young girl sat on the edge of the window and stared at the party taking place."Something doesn't feel right. I just hope nothing goes wrong once we begin our journey."Aura pulled her knees up to her chest, maybe, just maybe she could get a few more hours of sleep.

Dagnet was awoken by the first rays of sun light peaking through the forest. He stretched and yawned happily.

<ugh! Stop that. I've got an ache the size of a whale. Why in the name Aunt Fanny did you drink that much?>

The big man chuckled to himself at his inner voice's discomfort. It always felt good to give the big mouth a sharp pain.

Dagnet lumbered up and went looking for something to eat.

Aura was sitting in one of the many tables in the main courtyard eating her breakfast calmly, her eyes made it evident that she didn't get any sleep. Not many were in the area since most of them were sleeping after the party, only those whose work was to cook were there, along with a few others."Good morning Lady Aeterna." a voice said to Aura. "Early riser as usual"The Oracle smiled at the comment and nodded in acknowledgement."Good morning Reya, I hope you had a good night of sleep"Reya sat next to Aura and nodded. "Of course. Mama warned me that if I didn't do it then I was going to be left behind""I wouldn't do that, I think Arya likes to make you worry." Aura said with a smile. "Must be nice"The blue haired girl frowned by Aura's comment."I''m sorry, must be hard not having Lady Inanna with you. But for all that it's worth it...Yusu, Mama and myself think of you as part of our family! And of course, your father is still out there somewhere."The black haired girl had a thoughtful look on her face, but it slowly changed to a calm one."I must thank you then Reya, you and your mothers are always nice with me. But please, do not speak of that man, he is not even worth mentioning."Reya nodded and got up."Sorry about that, I kinda forgot about it. Anyways! I'm going to get something to eat."Saying that, the energetic girl dashed off towards the communal ovens.

Dagnet followed the smell to an eating area. He spotted Aura and Reya, giving them a wave.

"Black clover to helo!" He declared as he walked up to them.

<He means good morning, I think. I don't suppose you people have black coffee?>

Edited by rikunobodyxiii

"Good morning to both of you." Aura greeted. "I am sure there is coffee somewhere"Reya came back carrying a plate with different things to eat."Good morning!" she yelled at the giant."Reya, could you please bring some black coffee for Dagnet?""But of course! Wait here!" the blue haired girl said and dashed off again."So early and so full of energy." the Oracle thought. After a couple of minutes Reya came back with a coffee pot."Here! I don't think you want a cup, right? because how big you are I think the coffee pot it's actually a cup for you" Saying that Reya sat next to Aura and began to eat.

<gah. No yelling please. I'm the one who suffers head aches.>

Dagnet chuckled with obvious enjoyment. He took Reya's offered coffee pot.

"Trouble clef!" He bellowed as way of thank you.

A groan from the inner voice also showed a reason for the l'Cie's volume. Dagnet pushed up his mask to show his mouth and started to sip at his coffee like a man enjoying a new day.

<So, what's our traveling arrangements?>

"After we finish breakfast we can leave." Aura said. "I think it shoud take us at least a couple of hours to reach Lucis.""We should arrive at Lucis before noon" Reya said while still eating. "If we don't find any troubles on the way that is"The Oracle looked at the blue haired girl with a confused look."What do you mean? There is nothing to worry about in the forest""Lady Aeterna" Reya shook her head and sighed. "You can't be too cautious while traveling outside of your home, right?"Aura thought about Reya's comment for a moment then nodded in agreement."You are right, we should be careful" the Oracle said before finishing her breakfast."I just hope we can get a hold of this "Cassandra" in Lucis" Reya commented.

Dagnet put down his coffee pot, wandered over to where the food was and started loading down two plates.

"Bird lady." He grunted.

<*Sigh* Hopefully she will be watching or find it soon. *pause* it might be better if she didn't know that we were involved. We....scare people.>

Dagnet subconsciously rubbed at a nasty looked scare on his lower back, which appeared to have been caused by an arrow. Seeming satisfied with the over loaded, he returned to Reya and Aura, taking a seat at the table. He noisily began to eat, occasionally pausing to sip his coffee.

<Listen, don't worry too much about the outside world. If you look tough or mean enough, most people will leave you alone.>

"I'm stuffed!" Reya yelled. "Can't eat anything else.""There is no need to worry about people" Aura told the voice. "Most of them do not like Heimdallians. At least not females from the outside."Reya looked at the Oracle then at Dagnet."They think Heimdallian girls like to lure men into the forest so they can bear a child."Aura nodded at Reya's comment and frowned slightly."It is the truth at some degree. Heimdall needs males from the outside since it is very rare that a baby boy is born here."The blue haired girl looked away and sighed."It's our nature. Every time someone gives birth, it is a baby girl."The Oracle ruffled Reya's hair and smiled."Do not worry about what they think. It is needed for our survival." she said as she looked at Dagnet. "Am I right to assume that you and this "Cassandra" have crossed paths before" Aura asked.

Dagnet visibly whined at Aura's question.

<well...yes. Yes, we have crossed paths on occasion.>

"Much shooting." Dagnet lamented before tearing into his food with renewed vigor.

<Okay, so she's been hunting us off and on for a number of years. That just means I know what she can do better then most. She'll be an excellent help to our "quest" or whatever.>

The large l'Cie finished the last of his breakfast and coffee, giving off a satisfied sigh. He slid his mask down in its usual place and stood up.

"If no shooting." Dagnet added.

"Alright, so she is hunting you" Reya said. "Wouldn't be a little dangerous to ask for help?"Aura nodded at Reya's comment before she got up."Perhaps it is not a good idea if that person will try to hunt you before we can even have a civilized talk"The blue haired girl stood up and stretched."Maybe there is no other option. If this Cassandra can help us track other l'Cie then we don't have another choice." Reya then paced back and forth. "If it comes to that, we could fight"The Oracle sighed and nodded slightly."That is one option. Anyways, now that everyone finished their breakfast, I think it is time to depart."

Iona hopped on the table were Aura and Dagnet were still talking. A small bag was slung over her back, and her weapons were affixed to her person in various methods. She grinned slightly, and took a bite of banana. "So we were just leaving right? About time, I was ready since I said I'd come." Iona said, her mouth still full of banana. She had just lied. Truthfully, Iona had been ready for a long time since. She had been ready since she learned her focus, and getting an easy chance to complete it was wonderful. Iona stood on the table, and jumped to the ground, flipping in the air for flair. She grinned dramatically, and held her arms out. "We find l'cie to help us out, then we complete this Reimaging thing right? This'll be easy." Iona said casually.

Reya was watching Iona with an inexpressive look on her face the whole time."Oh dear. How am I going to be able to endure her company"The blue haired girl said with a slightly sarcastic tone. Meanwhile Aura turned to see Reya and shook her head."Purunesun, Reya, mui fuuguatiumugu" the black haired girl said. "We have to get along if we are going to be traveling together"Reya huffed in annoyance and nodded at the young Oracle."Alright, I understand" the girl answered. "But...I can't make any promises, alright?"The Oracle sighed at the response of the blue haired girl and crossed her arms before looking at her traveling companions."Alright then, let's get moving."Aura picked up a bag under the table and tossed it over her shoulder before adjusting her gunblade into her belt, Reya already had her bag on her back. With everything ready, Aura, followed by Reya, Dagnet and Iona, began to make her way towards the gates of Heimdall and into the forest.

Dagnet chuckled at Iona's display.

"Slug siding." He said to her, approval in his voice.

<Well, I'm hoping y'all will be the ones to put up the notice. If we are lucky, she will see y'all first.>

The large l'Cie lumbered after Aura and Reya, humming random musical notes that he probably thought were a song. Above the party, a raven watched.

Now walking through the forest, Aura focused on her surroundings just in case something out of the ordinary appeared.
"That won't be a problem. We can put up the notice and wait for her to show up."
Reya on the other hand was listening to the giant humming random musical notes before she noticed Aura.
"Lighten up a little Aura. It's not like something is going to jump at us, especially not in the Silva Deae."
The Oracle nodded at the blue haired girl, but kept focused just in case.
On a sudden whim, Reya followed Dagnet's example and began to sing.

I sing my song to praise the land~
Please bless the earth, from sky to sea~
From golden sun to flowing tides~
May you last to the end of times~

"So...why did you decided to call me by my first name all of a sudden? Aura asked Reya.
The blue haired girl stopped singing and smiled at the comment made by the Oracle, she then waved her hands in front of her.
"Just because~ We are friends, right? Besides, we are not in Heimdall anymore."
Aura smiled and nodded in agreement, just then she saw movement through the top of the trees.
"What is...Oh, it's just a bird" she thought to herself.

"Shiny blue with burning glue!" Dagnet sang out in the wrong key, escalated by Reya's song.

<Oh lovely. He's singing. Hasn't done that in a while. I was almost over last time. So, any idea where we can find out more about this "Reimaging"? There has got to be some sort of ancient document detailing what's gonna happen. Even vaguely.>

Dagnet stopped singing and grunted.

"That's an easy one!" Reya answered. "We can go to the Library of the Ancients"
The Oracle turned her head to look at the blue haired girl.
"Library of the Ancients? Where is that"
"Well, once we arrive at Lucis we will have to travel Northwest for around 2 or 3 days to this place."
Reya took out her map and pointed to a building near the shore.
"This is the Library of Aeviternus. My Mother goes there when she needs info about ancient things. Perhaps we can find something related to the Reimaging in that Library."
Aura nodded at Reya.
"I think that would be useful, but we have to recruit Cassandra first."

"Bad juju." Dagnet commented.

<I have to agree with the big guy. With a name like "Library of the Ancients", there has got to be traps and hidden monsters. We've been through a few places like that. Once, as one of the hidden monsters.>

Dagnet then shrugged and gave Reya a wink.

"Bird lady not say no." He assured.

<And what makes you so sure?>

The large l'Cie made no reply to his inner voice as the party continued their trek.

Reya noticed when Dagnet winked at her making her smile at the giant."Well, we can decide once we reach Lucis" Aura commented."I wonder how Mama managed to find anything in that place" Reya asked. "I know she is very skilled, but I can't think of anything"Aura smiled at the blue haired girl's comment."Indeed. Arya is very skilled, no wonder she is the head of the Ancient Magicks Guild."Reya waved her hands in the air and smiled."Mama is awesome! And Yusu is great at making weapons too. Your mother was great at making clothes"The Oracle just smiled."Yeah. My mother was very skilled in making clothes."

<Maybe she knew the trick of not setting them off. Probably something subtle. We...don't do subtle well.>

Dagnet chuckled. As the group walked, Dagnet started looking around over head.

<Would it be any help at all if I asked what you were doing?>

"Duckling wood carving!" Dagnet answered.

<Don't->

Dagnet chuckled again as he spotted a raven flying from tree to tree.

<Crap. She already knows.>
