heartless101 83 Posted June 1, 2010 OK so this past Friday, my english teacher was passing back some projects for an Earth Day project and then she gave me mine back and I got a C+ on it. But she marked me off for like 15 points for 2 things that I didn't have: one of them being a poem and one of them being a business letter response. My teacher said that if anyone didn't have a reply and if we wrote in the table of contents Business Letter Response Did not get back then she wouldn't mark us off and I didn't get a response so I wrote on the Table of Contents did not recieve a reply. But she still marked me off for the thing. Isn't that unfair or what??? And also, for the poem thing, the day we did that, I was sick (barfed). She told me like 5 times that I didn't have to do it but she STILL marked me off for that. The project was worth 120 points I'm trying to improve my grade in English and I got a C+ on it and if she didn't mark me off for those two things I would've gotten a B+! Then I talked to her after 6th period, and she said that I didn't know what I was talking about. I'll tell you, this was the most unfair thing she has ever done to me before Plz view state ur opinion on this and say if this has ever happened to you in ur life. Godot 513 Posted June 1, 2010 That's terrible. D8 I hate it when teachers do that. >_< Just recently, my Social Studies teacher lost one of my homework assignments, and then said that I never turned it in. And when I told him that I knew I passed it in, he just said, "Well, I don't have it, so I can't give you credit for it. Sorry." D<

Giginha 22 Posted June 1, 2010 So we're two, I used to have problems with my old english teacher, but now I have problems with my Lab. teacher. She's always picking on me, and I don't do anything wrong, everybody is worse than me but she always have to chose me.
Kaiso 2,764 Posted June 1, 2010 That's terrible. D; - I hate it when teachers do that. But still, even if you get sick and they say you shouldn't worry about it, you still should do the assignment. In High School they don't really care if you weren't there for a day or two. If you weren't there it's your responsibility. You should always do something especially if it's part of a major grade. It's up to you to get the assignments done that you missed. Maybe next time, ask other's if they did the same thing in their table of contents and talk to her as a group. Also, if you really think she was being unfair, get your parents involved if you feel it's necessary. Maybe even ask your teacher if there's any way you could get your grade up like going in for tutoring for example. If you at least keep showing you care, even at this time of the year, a teacher might be more willing to help you get it back up. But meh. One of my teachers didn't let me turn in test corrections once because she never told us when they were due, but she still told all of us they were due that day. I tried telling her the truth, my tutor who was too sick from his cancer treatment couldn't meet and wanted to go over it could meet on Sunday, and I could give it to her on Monday. She FIRST agreed and then on Monday I came with test corrections with both parents, and my tutor's signatures on it. She wouldn't take it.
Giginha 22 Posted June 1, 2010 I know how that is, when people are ill and the teacher gives some type of research or homework and this person that was ill comes on the other day and gives that type of excuses the teacher will just say "That's your problem, you should've asked the others." Tom 437 Posted June 1, 2010 2 words: Drop out Easier and much quicker than Liraxus' idea 8D Anyways, teachers are assholes pretty much. And at this time of year, they really suck. They cram in projects and assignments before exams, which really isn't fair, nor is it fun. Especially since now I have to create a solar cooker for my douchebag science teacher. Got to love those pricks

I asked her 4 instructions but she didn't follow me up on that and when I asked one of my friends he couldn't explain it to me either. And then I asked my teacher again and she said I didn't have to do it. Well at least she gave me 10 points back but thats not the point
Rue 3 Posted June 2, 2010 WOW, well elt me tell you a story, so My grandma recently died, right? so I E-mailed my teachers, since I missed a week spending the last week of my grandmothers life. So I guess its WAY Different in collage, also if your sick jsut e-mail the teacher or take some incitive bra, ask a friend who shares the same class if your sick and have to miss school, you can ask them, and if they are trusting, and realilbe then hey! it ca n work out,and your "Hatiful" teacer can't say anything about you,, she/he is still bitching on you guys, well, then she /he doesn't like you and shouldn't be a teacher! now I personally don't like high schooler's, (had a horribl etime in High school, thanks to a bunch of snug jerks....yeha) So! Long story short, you''ll have good teachers, and you'll have a Awful teachers, and you'll have awsome teachers that I had. or Teachers you won't like. So, all I can say is the best advice: is Work harder, and do EXTRA CRIDICT! Belive me Brohan it works!! and You'll get an A+
