Why was there never a fan translation patch made for KH1FM?

Posted

I know it doesnt matter now with KH 1.5, but i mean, there were fan translation patches made for KH2FM and BBSFM, but why not for KH1FM? It may not have as much new content as the other FM's but its still decent enough to deserve a translation IMHO.

If there is, I've never seen it. FM2 provided the most content, though, and that took a while on it's own. I'd say if the HD collections never came out, an FM1 translation patch may have been made at some point.

I dont know, this HD collection came out 10 years after KH1FM's release. I figured a translation shouldve been made by now honestly.

Sorry. The only thing I'm finding is a (rather recent) WIP.

There wasn't even a way to remove subtitles in KHFM. :(

Not that 1Fm was that good to play it?

Maybe cause it was older and people didn't see it worth patching, the new content really wasn't much.

i heard because it was extremely difficult to patch

We are at the khvids code section. It's around 60% complete
