{Xoctts}

The sound of crashing filled the old Castle in the remains of Radiant Garden. The dim light that remained in the former world was fading as Xoctts pushed through the wreckage at one of entrances to the castle. More damage had been done to the castle since the attack on Destiny Islands by dark forces.

And the Betrayal.

Once again, Xoctts cursed the Witch's actions. Why had he trusted her? If he found the Void Witch again, he would avenge the fallen.

Feeling alone and hopeless, Xoctts leaned against a wall and slowly slid down into a sitting position.

 

{Xion}

Sora pushed himself up to his knees, the pain of his wounds nearly causing him to blackout. He looked around as his friends were being hunted down by a laughing figure.

"I'm not going to make it, am I?" He thought.

He looked down to see his wounds. He felt soo tired. But he had to do more.

"Roxas...Xion." He murmured. "This is your fight now."

Sora summoned his Kingdom Key. He turned it so that the blade was pointed towards himself and, like he had done to free Kairi's heart, he stabbed himself.

The point of view seemed to rise up as Sora slumped. He looked up in time to see a grinning face and red blades slashing for him.

"SORA!" Xion screamed as she shot up into a sitting position.

She pulled her legs to her chest and sobbed as the loneliness and sorrow filled her as she sat in the ruins of Twilight Town's Train Station.

Tyler, Xterly, Karen, Master Thomas, and Tom go into a run alongside Ventus. They also go to run to the castle's main portal. However, Angelica appears in front of Ventus' group and let's out a laugh. "Hey dearies, I've been sent to have a battle with you, starting with Seth-Seth aka Xavvic here... And to prevent you guys from seeing Mercy ever again..." Said Angelica, talking to Ventus and his group. Tyler stares right at Angelica as he clenches a fist. "Who are you?! Also, You can't stop us from getting Mercy back, and we'll be ready for you and the other forces of Darkness!" Shouted Tyler, talking to Angelica. Angelica let out a sigh, as she looks at Tyler. "MY name is Angelica, The Lady Of The Wicked Rose... And You all shall fall today..." Said Angelica, talking to Tyler.

"Agggh!" Xavvic said. His darkness fixing its way in. "Oh my god!" 'Seth' said "You gave me a name!" He smiled, "That's so sweet… Jist for that…" he put up a field of darkness in behind him, blocking the others from interfering. "I'll be happy to fulfill your death wish… Angelica Rose!" He dashed at her, keyblade ready. "Only be a sec, boys! Uncle Seth will finish this quick!"

Kazuto summoned his keyblade immediately. "Uh, no offense whoever you are, but THIS ISN'T THE TIME TO BE MESSING AROUND. This is serious, MERCY IS IN DANGER!" He quickly ran towards Angelica and did 2 side strikes and finished with a Thunder spell, and backflipped away from her.

Seth shot chains at Kazuto, binding him in place. "Kazzy…me and the lady are having a talk. A-B conversation. " he turned to Angelica. "Sorry for the interruption... Let's continue!"

{Astra}"Ventus wait!"Astra yelled at the young keyblade wielder before one of the enemies, Angelica, appeared."Hey dearies, I've been sent to have a battle with you, starting with Seth-Seth aka Xavvic here... And to prevent you guys from seeing Mercy ever again..."The boy in the black coat summoned his Keyblade and took a fighting stance, ready to fight the new threat."MY name is Angelica, The Lady Of The Wicked Rose... And You all shall fall today..."Astra was about to move, but then Xavvic summoned a barrier of Darkness."Xavvic! You can't do this alone!" he yelled while trying to go inside the barrier. "We can defeat them if we work together, but your darkness is taking control again, you have to fight against it!"{Yuri and Ainari}"Come on Xion!" Yuri yelled while using fire spells to destroy heartless.Ainari took the spot as the Healer of the group, using healing and protective spells on the other wielders."We have to hurry! Do not worry if there are Heartless in the courtyard"Ainari noticed the look on Xion's face and was trying to ease her state of mind."I am sure the Cornerstone of Light is safe, but we have to hurry up before more Heartless show up!"A small shadow Heartless was about to hit Aina from behind, but in the moment before it managed to get the girl, Yuri destroyed it with a fire spell."Pay attention! We need to focus on our current situation."

"No chance!" He smiled at Astra. "Xavvys gone for a while. Seth is here!!" He let out a laugh. "Let's go, red rose!" He teleported behind her, and attacked her blind-spot

{Xion}

Xion kept up her combat rhythm till she heard the calls of her companions.

"Alright, let's go." She called and ran through the door to the castle interior. Memories from Sora flashed through Xion's mind, allowing her to navigate the castle for the throne room. A few Heartless appeared in her path, but them moved too slowly to make much trouble for the runners and were easily blasted out of them way.

"They seem apathetic." Xion thought.

"Just ignore them." She called over her shoulder to Yuri, Zion and Ainari.

Around another corner, she saw the doors to the throne room. She put on a fresh burst of speed. Behind her, a Far Body appeared and charged after her. The Replica Keyblade Wielder stopped and sidestepped the large Nobody. As it charged past, she swiped its legs out from under it. The Fat Body fell forward and kept sliding due to its momentum. Xion leapt on top of it and rode it down the hall. She used a fire burst to redirect the Heartless into the doors of the throne room and jumped off. The Large Body smashed into the doors, throwing the open and destroying it. Xion came in directly after it, ready to attack what ever was waiting for her on the other side. She suddenly stopped in her tracks when she found...

"Nothing?" She breathed, looking around the empty, dusty, throne room.

 

{Ventus}

Ven scrabbled to stop and ended up running straight into Angelica. He rolled away and got up before Xavvic began his attacks.

"You're not going to stop us helping our friend!" Ven declared, summoning his Keyblade.

His mind felt foggy. Why had he been running? They needed to be cautious.

Ven pushed these thoughts aside to focus on the enemy in front of him. He charged his Keyblade with Aero magic and threw it at Angelica.

From inside the castle, something massive moved. It sniffed the air and growled. Something was holding up its meal. A sound like a human scream and a dragon's roar lanced out of the castle as the ground under the party shook from the thing inside the castle.

 

{Mercy & Lacuna}

Mercy gave the orb Lacuna and Vanfore were watching a desperate look. She could see her friends through it, but now there was some woman in their way.

"What is she?" Vanfore hissed, sounding angry. "She ruined trap. She's unknown."

Mercy saw Lacuna turn to look at her, then winked. Mercy felt confused. Had the Void Witch planned this?

"Don't worry, Gruesome." Lacuna said soothingly to the Dark Creature. "Just a new player. Either she will die by the heroes hands or your beast will eat her."

Tyler jumps into the battle by teleporting into in front of Angelica, and summons his Keyblade. Angelica smirks evilly as she jumps away as the attacks hit her, although feeling pain from them. She takes some Seeds out of her pocket and tosses them into the ground, embedding and burrowing themselves into the ground. She summons her Keyblade, it is long and is colored Dark Red, and is shaped like a demonic-looking Rose with a small Sapphire embedded on the head of the blade, and raises it into the air as it glows a purple-colored Light. "My Plants would like to come out and play with you! And I shall defeat all of you!!!" Shouted Angelica, preparing to attack Ventus and Xavvic/Seth. Suddenly, several long vines covered in thorns and Darkness emerge from ground and move forward at Tyler, Kazuto, Ventus, and Xavvic/Seth, intending to ensnare them and throw them away, and some more vines of this type appear in front of the castle entrance, and a barrier is placed on the door.

"Wow," Seth said "Plants? Come on!" He avoided them. "Such a disappointment..." He then shot fire at the vines.

Zion slid in behind Xion, pretty nonchalant.

"I guessed." She headed for the throne. "There's a way to open the secret chamber..." Stepping in front of the throne, Zion raised her hand.

"Now shut up Sione, I need to concentrate."

 

A bubble shield formed around the party, formed of hexagons. Keeping the Heartless away, she closed her eyes and concentrated.

{Astra}Astra was almost hit by Angelica's plants, but before it happened, he slowed time around him before jumping back."That was close." he said before noticing Angelica had a Keyblade. "Interesting...another Keyblade Wielder."The boy in the dark coat pointed his Keyblade at Angelica, but before he could make an attack, he heard a roar coming from the castle."What was that? it sounded like....something big"Astra focused once again focused on Angelica and her plants, pointing his Keyblade at her."We don't have time for you. We have come to save the Princess of Heart and you can't stop us"The silver haired boy then began to shoot fire bullets towards Angelica and to her plants to try and open a way into the castle.{Yuri and Ainari}While waiting for Zion to find a way to open the way to the secret chamber, Yuri looked around."And here I thought that Disney Castle was going to be...I dunno....impressive? perhaps?"Aina huffed in annoyance to her companion's comment."Why don't you keep those thoughts in your head instead of talking Yuri?"The white haired girl looked at her companion and shrugged."Just talking out loud. There is no need to get mad." she then reasumed her activity. "I said I thought it was going to be impressive not that I don't like it."Aina stared at Yuri and sighed."Sometimes I just don't understand you."The girl in black then walked closer to Zion."How are you doing? Is there anything I can do to help you?

"Hey!" Seth said, after firing the volley. "I thought this would be one one one!"

Angelica slightly grins as she holds out her other hand, and a big Venus flytrap made of Darkness emerges from the ground from behind Angelica, and it starts shooting seeds of Darkness and electricity from it's "Mouth" at Tyler, Xavvic/Seth, Ventus, and Astra. Tyler tries to block the seeds with his Keyblade, as he casts Firaga spells at Angelica. He stares right at Angelica sternly as he continues to try to block her attacks. He hears the noise and is slightly surprised about it. Angelica smirks evilly as big Roses of Darkness emerge from the ground and vines of Darkness shoot out from it at all of Angelica's opponents. "Sorry, but to get open that door, and get into that castle, you have to get through me, and Mercy's captors want you to get into the castle, they set up a trap inside of it, and the trap may give you a hard time... Oh, and Seth, I didn't say this was to be one on one, I was challenging ALL of you!" Shouted Angelica, talking to Astra and Xavvic/Seth.

{Ventus}

Ven managed to use his Keyblade to keep Angelica's vines off him, but didn't advance as he felt something rumbling from inside the castle. He saw a flicker of green light from behind the vines closing off the castle. His eyes widened as he caught a glimpse of what was making the light.

"Everyone down!" He yelled and dove for the ground himself.

Green flames erupted from around Angelica's vines and disintegrated them. The scream/roar sounded again as a dark form lumbered out of the castle. It's massive, long body was supported on four legs, with large bat wings spreading from it's back. The black scaly face peered down at the battle with glowing green eyes and a distinctive horn pattern.

"Maleficent?" Ven breathed, looking up from his prone position.

The Dragon roared again and looked down at the tastiest morsel on the field and proceeded to blast another cone of flame at Angelica.

 

{Xion}.

"Surely something should be here."Xion thought, but nothing appeared to satisfy this feeling.

With Zion putting up a protective field, Xion dismissed her thought as paranoia. She walked towards Zion and Ainari.

"How are we doing?" She asked. "Queen Minnie was able to open passage for Sora, but I'm not sure how. If we can't do it with light, we can try it with our Keyblades."

A second later, the dais the throne sat on rumbled and started to move aside. Xion looked around at her companions.

"Looks like someone's expecting us." She said, feeling a little excited. Maybe Queen Minnie had survived and take refuge in the Hall of The Cornerstone. As soon as the trap door was fully open, Xion walked carefully down the flight of stairs. She grasped the handle of the door at the bottom and flung it open.

Xion's heart sank as she saw that instead of the Cornerstone and a friendly face, the entire room had been redone with counters and lab equipment. At the far end, a figure worked on a computer screen.

The hooded Xemnas turned and eyed Xion.

"I guess this should have been expected." The Superior commented dryly.

{Astra}It was at the last second when Astra dove to the ground, barely avoiding getting hit."That was close" he said before noticing the source of the attack. "What the?"It was a huge black dragon that attacked the group."Maleficent?" said Ventus.The boy in the black coat glanced at the young keyblade wielder and the back at the dragon."So this is the Witch?"Astra kept looking at the dragon, watching is movements before it attacked in Angelica's direction."How strange. If this dragon is Maleficent then...why is she acting this way? Like she doesn't have any kind of control."{Yuri and Ainari}"Yuri hurry up" said Ainari before taking the stairs."Hey! wait for me!" was Yuri's reply before she followed.Ainari saw when Xion opened the door and noticed when her body tensed."Hey what's wrong?" Aina asked to the Keyblade Wielder."I guess this should have been expected." said the Superior."Hey! what's going....on?"Yuri was surprised to see that the Hall of the Cornerstone was completely different, but was even more surprised to see Xemnas there."What a surprise! It is that man that looks a lot like Astra."Ainari stared at Xemnas before talking."Uh...W-What are you doing here...um...X-Xemnas?"

Zion drew her Keyblades.

"What the hell." She growled. "Where is the Cornerstone?"

"Hey!" He smiled at the dragon "Mal-Mal! It's been a while!"

Angelica smirks evilly as she leaps into the air and lands on a pillar, looking at the Dragon. "My, my... This is the trap I'm talking about... Make this interesting, will you, Xavvic also Seth? Because, I have something to do with YOU..." Thought Angelica, mentally thinking to herself in her head. Tom is on the ground, looking at the Dragon sternly, as he summoned his Keyblade and pointing it at the Dragon. Tyler, Xterly, Karen, and Master Thomas are on the ground, looking up at the Dragon as well in surprise. "What on Earth happened to Maleficent? It's like... She's in some sort of trance..." Said Tyler, talking out loud to everyone.

"Probably mind control." He shrugged. "She did that to me a lot." He looked at Angelica. "I thought you were going to kill us! You weak plant types are all the same!" Seth scratched his head. "At least Ken had balls!"

{Ventus}

Ven sprang to his feet and brought around his Keyblade in a defensive block as he studied the dragon. It moved smoothly, like a predator would. Its glowing green eyes locked on him and took in a breath.

"She's going again!" Ven warned,mother dodged out of the way of another stream of green flames.

He recovered and had to dodge again as the dragon made a snap at him with its teeth.

"Has she gone feral?" He thought as he threw his Keyblade at the Witch's head. Maleficent took the hit and cried out in her scream/roar again.

Behind Victoria, there was a sudden movement and a hand on her back. It shoved her forward, strong enough to knock her off her pillar and back into the fray.

 

{Xion & Xemnas}

After a moment of shock, Xion followed Zion's example and pointed her Keyblade at Xemnas.

"Where did you take it?" She demanded.

Xemnas sighed.

"I had nothing to do with the absence of the Cornerstone." He replied. "I was likewise surprised to find it absent."

Putting his hands behind his back, The Superior walked slowly towards Xion, Yuri, Zion and Ainari.

"Since most of The Organization's bases are destroyed, infested or otherwise occupied, I decided to use of this now empty space."

Xion stepped forward, gritting her teeth.

"You're lying." She stated. "You always lie."

Xemnas stopped and appeared to consider Xion's accusation.

"While I spin falsehoods regularly, this is not one of those times."

A frown formed on the visible lower half of Xemnas's face.

"Since such misunderstandings usually end in a battle, I would like to put a halt on that course of events now. Despite our past interactions, we need each other to get the worlds out of their current condition."

 

{Lacuna & Mercy}

The Void Witch chuckled as she watched Maleficent's entrance through a crystal ball.

"Ten munnies say the heroes try to reason with her." She said, gleefully.

"A fool's choice." Vanfore hissed. "Nothing is left of the witch but her power."

Mercy watched the scene fearfully. No one was down yet, but what if the Dragon and the crazy plant lady killed them? She closed her eyes and started focusing the light within her.

Seth grinned, as he shot dark ice at the dragon. "Man... If I was not having so much fun, I wouldn't be so judgmental about this battle just being a way to test our skills for weaknesses!" He dodged the blast of fire, and jumped on the dragons body, then vaulting to Angelica. "Why do you call me Seth?" He berated her with a flurry of attacks.

Standing behind a part of a bridge, a mysterious man, looking like a Grim Reaper with a scythe on his back, watches the battle with a smile on his wrinkled face. His eyes are right on Seth/Xavvic and Maleficent. He takes out a card, resembling those used in Castle Oblivion but it has a mysterious Emblem on it, it looks a lot like an upside-down demonic and stylized version of the Keyblade Master Emblem, and the color of the card is purple. "This young man... Shall be marked for... Possible use in the near future... And with this, comes interesting side effects... That affects his being..." Thought the mysterious man, mentally thinking about something in his head about something. The man quickly moves into the open, as the card emits a purple-colored Light, and tosses the card flying at Seth/Xavvic from behind, if the card went near Seth/Xavvic's back it would burrow and embed itself into his Soul, and have negative effects on him if it hits it's mark, as it could have some effect on his Darkness. The man quickly teleports away as soon as he threw the card. Tom, Xterly, Karen, Tom, and Master Thomas look on at Maleficent, as they unleash bolts of Light from their Keyblades at Maleficent. "Just what is wrong with her?!" Asked Tyler, wondering about what happened to Maleficent.

Seth got hit by the card. "Hm?" He felt next to nothing, and continued his advancement on the enemy. "I'm coming for you, Angelica!"' Seth felt a surge of darkness within him. "LETS GO!!!"

{Astra}Astra pointed his Keyblade at the dragon, but at that same moment she attacked with more green flames. Astra jumped out of the way as he saw Ventus throwing his Keyblade at Maleficent who let out a roar."Good thinking" he said while pointing once again at Maleficent. "Now take this!"The boy in the black coat the proceeded to fire energy bullets at the dragon. It was at that moment that Astra felt something."Oh? it seems someone is watching us. There is also signs of the light belonging to the Princess of Heart." he thought to himself.Also, for a split second, the silver haired boy thought that he saw someone throwing something at Seth/Xavvic but quickly dismissed it as just his imagination before reassuming his attack against Maleficent.{Yuri and Ainari}Yuri was watching between the Superior and her traveling companions with a curious look on her face."Wait." said Aina before standing between Xion, Zion and Xemnas. "Please wait. Let us think this carefully, alright?"The fire Keyblade Wielder looked at Ainari and nodded."While I do not want to say it, Aina is right. There is no need to jump into another battle."Aina looked between Xemnas and Xion before speaking."Xion, while I do not know the extent of your suffering by his and the Organization's fault, he is right."The girl in black shook her head and crossed her arms."We need each other's help to get the worlds out of their current situation. Both Light and Darkness need to cooperate in order to survive this ordeal."Yuri sighed and glanced at Xion."Instead of fighting we should be thinking about our next plan. Perhaps find out what happened to the Cornerstone, or more importantly, find the location of the Princesses of Heart. That, of course, is your choice." 

Scowling, Zion wrapped her wing around Xion.

"Let's listen...for now."
