{Xoctts}

The sound of crashing filled the old Castle in the remains of Radiant Garden. The dim light that remained in the former world was fading as Xoctts pushed through the wreckage at one of entrances to the castle. More damage had been done to the castle since the attack on Destiny Islands by dark forces.

And the Betrayal.

Once again, Xoctts cursed the Witch's actions. Why had he trusted her? If he found the Void Witch again, he would avenge the fallen.

Feeling alone and hopeless, Xoctts leaned against a wall and slowly slid down into a sitting position.

 

{Xion}

Sora pushed himself up to his knees, the pain of his wounds nearly causing him to blackout. He looked around as his friends were being hunted down by a laughing figure.

"I'm not going to make it, am I?" He thought.

He looked down to see his wounds. He felt soo tired. But he had to do more.

"Roxas...Xion." He murmured. "This is your fight now."

Sora summoned his Kingdom Key. He turned it so that the blade was pointed towards himself and, like he had done to free Kairi's heart, he stabbed himself.

The point of view seemed to rise up as Sora slumped. He looked up in time to see a grinning face and red blades slashing for him.

"SORA!" Xion screamed as she shot up into a sitting position.

She pulled her legs to her chest and sobbed as the loneliness and sorrow filled her as she sat in the ruins of Twilight Town's Train Station.

"And what?" Said Xavvic "get ourselves killed? You guys don't look in the best of shape right now."

Kazuto looked over at Xavvic. "Well, from what i've heard, you guys say that Mercy is very important, as a princess of heart, don't you think we should try to save her as soon as possible?"

Zion pulled Xion's hand down.

"No darkness. It's time we all walked in the light."

She threw her hand out, and Dawn Gates grew from the ground. "They will take you where you need." She smiled and then held Xion's hand.

"You need to stop putting dark corridors. Try letting that go and see about opening up Dawn Gates."

{Astra}While everyone was talking, Astra was lost in thought, but was brought back by Kazuto's sudden outburst."You are right. We should save the Princess of Heart as soon as possible, but that doesn't mean we have to rush into action."The boy in the black coat crossed his arms and looked at the whole group."Just think about it for a moment. The enemy knows the Princesses of Heart are necessary to return the Worlds to normal. That means they will try to use them, or her, as a trap."Astra sighed and shook his head."My personal opinion is that we should plan this in the most careful of ways. They will not hurt the Princess. They know we are going to try to rescue her."The silver haired boy looked directly at Kazuto."Wait for the rescue team to arrive and then destroy them all. At least that's what I would do, but whatever you do I will help. My only request is that you think carefully about it."{Yuri and Xion}Yuri looked at Zion and tilted her head."You shouldn't force her to use Light instead of Darkness."The white haired girl then looked at the Dawn Gate and put her hands behind her back."You said "Darkness itself isn't evil, right? If Xion is comfortable with using the Darkness then let her use it."Ainari was looking between her traveling companion and the other two girls."Alright Yuri, that's enough."The girl in black said while holding out her hand towards the Dawn Gate, making it change back into a Dark Corridor."I know Astra told us to travel together, but perhaps you can use the Dawn Gate while we use the Corridor of Darkness." Ainari then bowed slightly and waved at Xion and Zion. "We will see you at Disney Castle, alright?"Ainari then pushed Yuri into the Dark Corridor, closing it once the two were inside. 

-You ignorant swine! You have any brains? BALANCE YOU DUMKOPFF BAAALAAAANCE.-

Zion facepalmed. "No Sione. As for -" Yuri was gone.

The golden-haired girl rubbed her head. "Xion. I'm not trying to force you to use Light instead of Darkness. I'm trying to get you to use the corridor that doesnt cause health risks. People need to like. Know what the hell they are talking about. Ya know?"

-Can I start singing Kiss the Girl?-

"Ponies."

-NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!-

{Ventus}

"No." Ven declared firmly. "We don't abandon friends. We need to find Mercy before that guy does someone to her."

Ven reluctantly nodded to Xavvic.

"Yes, some of us aren't doing well right now, but we can't stop."

He glanced between Astra, Xavvic and Kazuto.

"But with you we have a chance. If this is a trap, they shouldn't be expecting other users of darkness to be helping."

The young Keyblade Wielder's brave face cracked a moment and he looked like a worried and scared kid.

"Right?"

 

{Xion}

Xion looked at her portal of Darkness she had opened. She had used those for so long, heck, her whole life. Maybe it was time to try something new.

"Okay, we can take your gate." She said, waving a hand to dispell her portal.

She looked back at Zion and smiled. She didn't really know what to do or think about Zion and Sione's comments, but it didn't matter now. She at least had a friend.

"Let's go." She said before jumping through Zion's Dawn Gate.

Xion exited and landed near Yuri and Ainari. She looked around at the silent, dull surrounds in the inner courtyard of Disney Castle. The grass and bushes in the garden were dead and shriveled. Even the shaped castle bush in the center looked broken down. A cold wind whispered through the courtyard, causing Xion to shiver and not from cold.

 

{Mercy & Lacuna}

"You..." Mercy managed to rasp, trying again to get out of the goop that held her to the wall.

Lacuna gave her a bored look.

"Yes, darling." She answered. "Me. Should you really be surprised? I have been the one picking all you glowing lights off."

The Void Witch stepped closer to the trapped Princess, running a find down Mercy's cheek. Mercy noticed there were faint tattoo patterns on Lacuna's exposed shoulders and that they moved.

"I could wipe them out, but playing with your friends like this is way more fun." The Void Witch whispered, her mask shifting as she grinned unpleasantly.

"Your lies are more transparent than usual." Vanfore hissed, sounding smug. "Your power wanes, so you sought one more powerful and found me."

For a moment, Mercy saw Lacuna's eye be overtaken by a murderous hate, but by the time she turned to look at the dark creature, she was all smiles.

"Let's not resort to insults, buddy boy." She said sweetly. "We still got a partnership to keep up."

Vanfore chuckled unpleasantly. It knew what kind of relationship it and the Void Witch had. And when the embers were dealt with, so would she.

"Fine." Said Xavvic reluctantly. "But I can't promise I'll come back next time…" he pointed to Ven "You better be sure…"

Zion stepped through beside Xion.

"Dawn Gates thankfully help boost your power, unlike Corridors that sap you. 'Course Dawn Gates don't boost by much, but it is so much better then Red Bull."

With a smile, then a smirk from Sione, Zion stepped towards Xion. "So. To the Cornerstone?"

Tyler looks on at Tom and at Ventus, he pats his back and let's out a sigh. Tom looks on at this with a stern look on his face. Master Thomas, Karen, and Xterly think about what they should do next. Tom folds his arms as he looks around at everyone. "I know that this is the Dark times, but we should be giving up right now, we need to be brave and save the Worlds form an absolute end... The reason why the Worlds are near their end because of that man, Xecracus' Heartless and Nobody, Xatsuno and Xetrodon, the very first two Heartless and Nobody to ever exist since the ancient time and their somebody, of the one who started the First Keyblade War and the the possible Third Keyblade War, manipulated Xehanort to cause the Second Keyblade War, by controlling him... This control had expired after the Worlds were thrown into the Realm Of Darkness... Through the control, the crazed man was able to use Xehanort as a Puppet... We need to rise up against Xatsuno and Xetrodon and restore the Balance, before they destroy all of the Light for good... I read the tablets about them..." Said Tom, talking to everyone. Tyler looks right at Tom and back at Ventus. "Don't worry, Ven, we'll get Mercy back... Be brave, aren't you brave? Everything will be fine... I'm sure of it..." Said Tyler, talking to Ventus.

Kazuto looked at Ventus, mustering his courage."Yes, everything's going to be fine, we'll rescue Mercy, and fix the worlds, I KNOW IT!" He then turned away from the others. "If you're all ready, i know where to start looking for Mercy, her trail is still strong, we have to hurry." Kazuto pointed his hand out and summoned a corridor of darkness. "Lets head out." He walked into the corridor, and appeared in a forest, with trees that had many thorns and was dark. "What is this place.............?"

 

(For those of you who probably can't figure it out, we're in the enchanted domain where sleeping beauty and maleficient are.)

Xavvic followed the Kazuto. He looked up. "Maleficents castle…" he mutters. He walked forward, cutting the vines in his path.

"You know where this is?" Kazuto asked.

"I had…history…" he said, pointing to his eye.

"Oh.....I'm sorry to hear that. I didn't mean to bring up bad memories." Kazuto looked down.

"It's fine…" he said. " there's bound to be a secret entrance, from what I reacall.…"

{Astra}Astra walked towards Ventus just before walking into the portal made by Kazuto."Do not worry, we don't abandon anyone." he said with a small smile. "Because...we're friends, right?"The boy in the black coat patted Ven's shoulder before going into the dark portal. Once on the other side, Astra focused on his surroundings."A forest? Where are we this time?""Maleficent's castle…" Xavvic said.After that, Astra stopped listening to the conversation. He walked a little to take a better look at the castle."This place...I can feel a small light..." Astra thought to himself. "And something else. Is the witch there?"{Yuri and Ainari}"Why did you said that?" Ainari asked her companion."What do you mean? was Yuri's reply."Why did you said that to Zion?""Oh I was just getting a little payback for what she did back at Destiny Island. I really don't mind if she wants to wield Light, Darkness or the paths between them. I just wanted to make her mad."The girl in black huffed in annoyance before she saw the exit."Finally. Yuri, from now on, please, behave yourself"The white haired girl shrugged and looked away."Whatever you said."Both girl were looking around, trying to see if everything was safe, but seconds later Xion and Zion arrived."Well Xion, show us the way" Yuri commented.

He used his sense to check. "Not sure..." He saw a door in the distance. "There's the second entrance."

{Ventus}

Ven gave Tyler a thankful smile.

"Yep." He answered. "We can do this."

He took a deep breath and ran through the dark Corridor Kazuto made. He skidded to a stop on the other side, looking at his surroundings.

"Hey, I know this place." He said. "Aurora lived here."

He ran after Astra and took in the sight of a castle.

"I guess the castle is as good a place to start as any."

He headed out of the woods and towards Maleficent's castle. He slowed a bit, as he felt sure eyes were on him.

 

{Xion}

It took a moment for Xion to respond to Yuri and Zion. Why did she feel so cold?

"Um, the entrance to the Hall of the Cornerstone is in the thrown room." She said, sounding a little unsure. "Be-be careful. Something feels wrong."

The Replica summoned her Kingdom Key and walked carefully towards the door to the castle interior. She stopped suddenly as she saw a shadow from a bush detach itself and move in her way. The shadow shook for a moment, then it took the shape of a Heartless Shadow. More harmless shadows moved to become heartless.

"Look out!" Xion called out, as she brought her blade down on the Heartless in front of her.

 

{Xemnas}

Ansem Seeker of Darkness stood impatiently behind Xemnas as the Superior worked on a computer in his hidden lab.

"Can't you work faster?" The Heartless demanded, annoyance in his voice.

"This will take time." Xemnas stated, not looking around at his counterpart.

Ansem gave the back of Xemnas's head an odd look. Xemnas sighed and turned to face his counterpart.

"Since you are not up to helping me, you should check on Saix." The Nobody suggested. "The old man said that he was still recovering from the Void Witch's attack. If he is well enough, we can move to the next step of the plan."

Ansem nodded.

"What about Xigbar?" He asked.

"He is under personal orders from Xehanort. He will be occupied."

The Heartless nodded again then vanished in a puff of swirling darkness.

Zion spun, wings out. Her Albio. Strike ability cut up surrounding Heartless as she spun.

"This is totally NOT a great first date Xio ! I vote we go to the beach next time!"

-My god. Just kill stuff.-

Zion didn't retort. Instead, she kept a perimeter established, holding back most of the Shadows. She finally stopped spinning and wrapped herself in her wings, creating a cocoon. She then fired out from it, keeping the others safer and able to focus on less targets, as a small trickle flowed through her barrage instead of a flood.

Tyler, Xterly, Master Thomas, and Tom run into the Corridor of Darkness, and run alongside Ventus, looking at the castle and woods. Tyler is still wondering where Xatsuno is right now. Tom is determined to return the Worlds to the Realm of Light, and he is willing to help these Heroes do it. Xterly, Karen, and Master Thomas look on at the castle and the woods with stern looks on their faces. "We should be careful in case if there are any Heartless near by..." Said Tyler, talking to himself out loud.

Xavvic opened the door. He remember the… horrors being in here. His eye, his life before, and the experiments. The room was loitered with books and looked unkempt. He felt the wall for a switch, and stopped. "I sense…Mercy is going to be tortured… her light is wavering..." He hit the switch, and the wall-door opened.

{Astra}Astra was walking behind Ven when he slowly stopped."I take that you feel it too?"The boy in the black coat asked while looking around."There is something or someone who is watching us. We must be careful"Astra focused on his surroundings, trying to find the source of that feeling.{Yuri and Ainari}"So soon?" Yuri said while summoning her Keyblade. "By the look of things I guess they don't want us in here."A Neo Shadow Heartless appeared behind Yuri and was about to attack the girl."Yuri behind you!" Ainari yelled at her companion.The white haired girl turned around with a fireball already on her hand."Do not think I will fall that easily!"As she said those words, Yuri threw the fireball at the Heartless, destroying it in an instant."Stop playing around and focus" The girl in black said. "You make my worry too much for you.""Noted." was Yuri's response.

Meanwhile, at the Imperial Kings Of Eternal Darkness are still in their castle in an unknown location, sitting on their thrones and watching the events at the Enchanted Dominion at Ventus and the others on an orb of Darkness. Xatsuno and Xetrodon look on at what's going on sternly. They know that they should act now. Ken, Hex, Angelica and the other hooded figures also look on at the events taking place, as Xatsuno looks at Angelica sternly. "Angelica, we shall send you to pursue those Keyblade Wielders and get Data on them, and try to get more Data on that boy, Xavvic, I'm interested in his Darkness, we could use him for something... Don't fail me..." Said Xatsuno, talking to Angelica. Angelica smirks evilly. "Very well, I'll do my very best to accomplish this task, Master... Oh, and Ken? Try not to mess up the next time you have an assignment..." Said Angelica, talking to Xatsuno and Ken. Ken let's out an irritated grunt, as Angelica teleports away in a beam of Darkness. Xetrodon looks right at Xatsuno with a stern look on his face, as he folds his arms. "Is it wise to entrust Angelica with a task like this? We managed to get the Worlds into the Realm Of Darkness just as we planned, and planning to bring about a Third Keyblade War so we can get the remaining Worlds in what's left of the Realm Of Light into the Realm Of Darkness... But I'm worried that Angelica may accidentally mess up, we need to suppress the remaining Guardians Of Light, what if she slips up?" Asked Xetrodon, asking Xatsuno a question. Xatsuno looks right at Xetrodon with an evil and stern smirk on his face. "Don't worry, Xetrodon, Angelica would never let that happen, her skills are reliable... Remember, we still have other ways of getting what we desire..." Said Xatsuno, talking to Xetrodon. the Tyler, Xterly, Master Thomas, Karen, and Tom continue to run with Ventus, wondering where Mercy is. "Do you think that Mercy is being held here?" Asked Tyler, asking  Ventus a question.

Xavvic stopped as soon as he walked to the other side of the door. "Someone's coming…" he said, keyblade at the ready.

{Xion}

Xion quickly fell into the patterns and tactics she had learned to combat heartless in Organization XIII. She moved to place herself between the Heartless and the obvious way out, in this case being the entrance to the rest of the castle. She systematically began striking down Heartless, slicing those that got close with her Keyblade and using fire spells on those that stayed back.

More Heartless were coming out of kooks and crannies of the desolated courtyard, but there numbers were no match for the firepower of the four wielders.

The cold feeling Xion had when she first got when she arrived got worse as she considered what the Heartless presence meant. If they were here, could the Cornerstone be?

 

{Ventus}

Ven felt both excited and fearful at Xavvic calling out he could sense Mercy. He could too, know that he thought about it. This new insight caused him to feel a new urgency that pushed him to rush in at full speed. He was about to when Astra spoke to him.

"Careful." He repeated, shaking his head. "Right."

The young Keyblade Wielder walked on, forcing himself not to run. He felt a little better as Tyler came up to him and asked if he thought Mercy was here.

"Yes." Ven said, feeling confident.

The internal struggle gave way, and the new urgency took hold.

"In fact, we'd better move faster."

Ven broke into a run , making for the castle's main portal.

At this point, everyone there starting feeling the same urgency to move faster, regardless of danger. It seemed to whisper of horrors that would happen if they didn't hurry up.

Zion unleashed Albion Strike.

"Xion, we have to move. It was under the throne room, last I remember." She unleashed Holyja, clearing a path. "Move! I can't do that a lot, I'll overtax myself!"
