Because of this, Polish government is almost wiped out. The president was killed, and so many people that worked for him or for the government was killed as well. However, the cabinet minsters were not on board, so it technically didn't ruin the government. But it did take out the people who run the country, that's for sure.
Was it an accident....well certainly not. Why would many important people board the same plane? That's not only dangerous, but it's just beyond stupidity. That's why we don't do that here on this country.
Many people continue to blame Russia since the plane had crashed there and that the fact that the plane was actually an old Soviet plane...people have doubts (I called it the Polish plane, due to the fact that the Polish were on board).
I honestly think it was not Russia, especially since they found out there was no problems with the plane and that they were willing to help investigate the crash. But this definitly no accident. In my gut, it tells me that either that it was a set up by a different country, or a secret Russian group (with no relationship to Russian's government, of course) set this up. I mean, how can the pilot just let a crash happen. Seriously, it makes me think they hired mentally awesome people to pilot the planes (well unless the country was being a douchebag and using them as kamikazes). Yes, the pilot tried to land the plane in bad weather, but that can't be subtracted of why the pilot would just land the plane where there's bad weather.
Anyways, I can't really get into full details with this, but I wanted to share this because my Polish friend (just before leaving to go back to Poland a month or two ago) had told about this to me. It was shocking when I heard it.
And because of these "Russia's fault" claims are hanging around, I do have to ask this: Is it Russia's fault? Did the Katyn massacre come back one last time to kill the president?
To those who don't know about the Polish airplane that crashed 2 months ago, here's the information:

Up to you to decide.
