I think the main issue here is that they're completely overlooking Thanksgiving. It's a day when we're meant to think about all we've been thankful for. If this keeps up, all that people will say is "CHEAP STUFF" or "SALES". I guess people can't just wait one more day for their cheap stuff. -_-

Yeah. : There's barely anything good for it in terms of games anyway. Destiny looks decent and battlefield 4, but besides those, i cant see any other reason to buy the PS4. Just waiting for XV and KH3.

I thought Black Friday was a real thing....  I don't even celebrate Thanksgiving and I know about it and have done for a while.  

 

With each holiday people are losing the actual meaning of it every single year.  Halloween is about Candy and dressing like a slut instead of honoring the dead, Christmas is about presents instead of Christ, Easter is about Chocolate (and least in my country every holiday is an excuse to buy new clothes, it's a done thing to get your Easter, Christmas, Boxing Day clothes), Valentines day is known as a greeting card holiday and all these holidays are christianized versions of pagan holidays which have even more ancient roots. 

 

Turns out Guy Fawkes night was seen as a day of Thanksgiving here, celebrating someone trying to blow up your parliament, now that's a holiday
