I was rereading the KH2 manga, and I was wondering, how did Kairi forget Sora, her best friend who saved her life, in just one year? lol

It happened when Sora went into Castle Oblivion, all his closest friends (Instead of Riku, since Sora kept his memory of Riku) Forgot about Sora because he lost his memory of them.

Have you not read the Chain of Memories manga? It's arguably better than the game itself.
