You're SUPPOSED to use sleights...? XD

Posted

Apparently, I've been playing CoM wrong for the past...3 years or so. xD I didn't know you were supposed to use slights. I thought they were optional. xD;; It didn't occur to me that they made the game easier...

(Though that explains why I didn't get past the second floor. xD)

EPIC FAIL.

but one of the most useless sleights it seems to me is Zakustan or what ever it is called, the one that removes an opponents card, seriously!, wait, is it talking about enemy cards? or attack/magic/potion cards

yeah your supposed to use sleights they help out alot

As long as you have a couple zero cards and remember your sleight combinations you'll be fine.

o wow! xD I used to over abuse sleights but now I know not to over abuse them bucz they deplete the cards out of ur deck until the fight was over so, I kept on using sleights until I had only 2 cards in my deck and by that time, they were crappy cards, a 1 and a 2 ._.

I admit, I did abuse Trinity Limit ^^

Used it to waste the entire area without breaking a sweat.

yeah but for me, like every time first 3 cards, sleight next 3 cards sleight and so on and so fourth ;_;

i actually used Sleights all the time and on bosses i would be running around with 1 attack card and 1 cure card cuz you need to be able to attack so they let you keep the attack card if you stack it on top of the cure card xD just remember not to stack the cure card first and to also make sure your cards equal at least a 9 and you should do well for the rest of the battle if you can dodge xD

That's me xD But i'm persistent and beat the game

Second playtrough I used Blitz insanely and that dash one I forgot the name o.O

But I always abused Trinity Limit on the 13th floor. Neoshadows are such a pain with those Eight cards, I always used it to kill them all. Funny how shadows were sometimes the only survivors! xP

I think I rely on sleights way too much in the game.

Yup. You can repeatedly Sonic Blade your way through entire boss fights (and Heartless battles if they're all ground) w/o getting hit a single time. After I got Lethal Flame that became my go-to. I literally beat Marluxia in Proud mode with a fat stack of Lethal Flame's, three Heals, Riku's card, Marluxia's card, and an ?Elixer? (w/e gives you back attack and magic cards instantly) or two.

You use two Lethal Frames correctly timed to take out his Nobody robot's blades. Then you use your Stop spells to cancel anything he throws at you, whack him a few, heal and dodge as needed. This part is actually harder than the second, but it's worth it because the deck is insane.

For the second half of the final battle you just run up to him, apply Riku's card, Lethal Frame until you run out of cards (you can set up the next three cards for another Lethal Flame before the first one stops hitting, it's silly, he doesn't stand a chance, literally just mash Triangle), use the Elixer and Marluxia card at this point, heal if needed, run back up to him and f*** his face. GG.
