The Becoming Of Immortals: More Gods Edition

Posted

Hi, it's me. Josh. You may know me as just another nameless RP'er, but I have a magnificent story to weave!

You see, you know those gods? Not God god, I'm talking about the GOD's! The Romans, Norse, Egyptians, all of them! This guy I know is one of them! Of course, I don't fully believe him, but I'd like to tell his story, because trust me, it's a good one!

You see, those gods existed! All of them, and the intermingled in harmony. Until one day, they don't know... Well, they might have known, but they didn't tell me, because they don't know now (I'll explain) there came the darkness. It was a powerful force, turning men against women, god against god. A few strong gods resisted its power, and sealed it away. They wanted to stop it, kill it once and for all. They couldn't, not with their power.

Then they figured it out! Reincarnation! That ought to do it! You see, the leftover gods thought that, in reincarnation, Their energy would increase due to the new vessels being able to contain more power. Maybe even teach them new tricks! Some did it later than others.

But something went wrong. They got their memories wiped. Some had backup plans. Others did not. My friend did; but we will talk about it later

Let the story begin!

It was another boring school day for Haymich Theosin. He had just returned from school, which he hated, save for History. He had a weird fascination with the gods unit. He felt as if he was one of them, as wierd as it seemed. It seems to be the opposite of how he normally behaved. He was always a person who couldn't stay in one place. He loved to travel, the change of pace, the feeling in his hair, the-

20$ that he just stole from the lunchroom bully.

Dammit.

I mean, sure, the bully had it coming...but theft was wrong... Right?

He felt a rush of energy wave over him. It was sooo good...NO. He shook his head, and continued to walk. He had a bad feeling about today. Not bad...strange

Yina walked through the halls of her school. Her class wasn't starting yet so she was searching a quiet place to read her book. She wanted to go back to the roof of the school. She was always alone there. But if she went there she hadn't time left to read. So Yina was just searching for a empty hall. And she found that hall. She sat down on the ground, took her book out of her bag and started reading.

Haymich came into the class. He saw Yina, and walked to her. "Thanks", he said with hand outstretched.

"No problem" Yina said to Haymich ignoring his hand. She put her book back in her bag and went to her seat. A hand? Really? So formal. She sat down and looked at Haymich. "So what are you going to do today?"

He retracted his hands as well. Too formal, he thought. "I don't know... Not to that pub again, that's for sure."

Yina laughed. "Yeah, I figured that." She stared right before her. "I wonder what Vincent is doing right now.." She thought about yesterday. "I hope he got home safe". Yina was worrying about her new friend. But then again. She knew Vincent was strong enough to take care of himself.

"Excuse me." Said a voice over the intercom. "Can Yina and Haymich come to the counselors office?"

Haymich thought. "What did we do?" He had tried his best not to steal anything form the teachers lately. He had a hard time controlling his 'thieving fits'. He got up, and walked out.

When she heard her name Yina panicked for a moment. She saw Haymich stand up and Yina followed him. "What did we do?" She had a strange feeling about this. But without asking any more questions she followed Haymich to the counselor.

The counselors office was of moderate size. It was weird, that even though it was only one counselor, there were multiple rooms. Haymich chalked it up to the fact that no one talked about Their problems anymore, so the others left.

When they entered the room that the counselor was in, something was off.

The counselor was not there.

"Is this a joke?" Yina said annoyed. She looked around in the room. Nobody. "There has to be some kind of mistake here" She said when she turned around and left the room again. She waited then for a second "Are you coming?" She asked Haymich.

"Yea, I-"

The room door slammed shut. "What the hell?" Haymich said, in astonishment. He jiggled the handle. No dice.

"Hello, Apollo..." Said a cold voice. "Nice to see you again..."

The all closed, trapping them inside.

Yina looked at the direction from where the voice came. "Who is Apollo?" She knew he was a go but that's it. Yina was scared. She hoped this day would be normal. Guess she can't have a normal day anymore. Her hands turned into fists. Yina was ready to fight if she had to.

The man from which the voice came from appeared. He was a tall man, in formal wear, with a fedora. He sat down on a chair. "It was what you used to be... "

Haymich struggled at the door. "Hey! Help!"

Yina stared at him. "Used to be...? I was Apollo?" She laughed so hard. "Very funny! Can I go back to class now?" Yina acted like she was not afraid at all. But she was! Afraid of what was going to happen now. Afraid of what was going to happen with Haymich. Afraid that this man was speaking the truth. Yina was literally shaking on her legs.

"No." The man said with a commanding voice. "You either come with me... Or the alternative..."

Haymich smelled a stench. He looked around. "Fire! Oh my god!"

(guys you need to wait for other people to catch up to morning before progressing....right?)

Something happened that night Venny met Melody, the girl was really nice, but the rest of the night, Venny couldn't recall it...It was like sleep enveloped them and Venny realized that she was asleep in a tree house and she glanced over and saw the other girl sleeping soundly. Venny jumped up and glanced at her cellphone to look at the time....crap....it was already mid morning and she just realized that she is missing school!!! Double crap!

Venny shook the girl awake, "Hey! Wake up, we gotta go to school!"

Venny rushed out of the tree house with the groggy Melody and headed for the school.

(I was thinking my school can be the same as Haymich and Yina's?)

(Sure, cricket!

P.s if anyone wants to help me mod, I would like that. This is the first rp I've run, so a second person would help me. I sometimes can't trust myself when I'm bored)

"Alternative?" She asked. She knew it would be something bad but she wanted to know. This was going to be the worst day of her life.

"I can kill your friend..." He said, looking in his direction. The fire strangely was not activating any alarm.

Venny lost sight of Melody while she entered the school and had no idea where the girl had gone and searched frantically for her, but upon doing so, Venny heard some ruckus coming from counselor's office. "What the heck is going on in there?" Venny sighed to herself, but something was pulling her towards the office and as she got closer, a feeling told her not to get involved, like a wise voice in the back of her head....strange. Venny heard mumbles and decided to progress forward and slammed the door opened with her anger when she heard people being threatened.

"What the heck-?"

Venny was cut off.

"No! Okay, I'll go with you! But don't hurt Haymich!" She yelled. Yina walked to the man giving herself to him. She wanted to protect the one who was important to her: Haymich.

"Wow..." Said Haymich. He dare not talk much, he could die of asphyxiation.

In a room.

In a counselors office.

Today was a weird day.

Venny looked around the counselor's office and saw a man trying to take one of her school mates with him and then she saw a boy standing in the corner. Venny could sense a dark evil from the tall man trying to convince the girl to come with him and Venny didn't know what to do but she stepped into the room and rushed over to the young man around her age, "What is going on!? Are you okay? We have to help her!"

The man responded by snapping his fingers. "And now, messenger," he said to Haymich "You will di-"

The sound of an arrow piercing a head broke his conversation broke the silence. He dropped to the floor, and dissapated.

Venny looked really surprised..."What-the-hell-just-happened?" She breathed out each word slowly and looked dumbfounded....

Venny could sense the evil presence was gone and what is going on lately with her anyways? Now she can sense evil? Yeah, right.....

Venny ran to the girl that was being harassed and made sure she was okay and well; the girl looked pale. What was all this talk about Apollo and the Greek/Roman gods?

The girl turned to the boy, what was his name, Haymich?

"What just happened?"

(Hm, I have to wait for Yuffie to reply haha, we were still in the hotel room when everyone moved to the morning.  It's an easy fix, but I just want her to reply first.)
