those who live in or near Toronto may know. Others will not

 

So there was an ice storm that affected Toronto. Trees actually froze and some fell knocking power cords. some of the power cords actually froze too. A few transformers got busted, and  and some parts of the sewer system got frozen. some people cant even use their toilet because the the plumbing under got frozen as well. Yesterday about 500000 units (buildings, houses) had no power,  now the numbers reduced to about 219000  Hospitals were forced to use the back up generator. Some are saying that certain areas will not get power for another 48 hrs ( i doubt). I was lucky because electricity came back just today (though yesterday i was sleeping in the lobby the whole day because there was nothing to do in home since no power) most of my friends don't have power so they're at my place. 

 

 

So Im just explaining what happened to those who didn't know.

if anything, the trees looks amazing with the ice covering them ( the ones that are still standing)

lucky i'd kill to have twice of that down here inS.C. the last time we got anything remotely close to snow was like 3 years ago
