Information

Kingdom Hearts II (????????II) was the second game released for the PlayStation 2 in the Kingdom Hearts series. The game was originally released on December 22, 2005 in Japan and later released in North America on March 28, 2006, followed by Australia on September 28, 2006 and Europe on September 29, 2006. On March 29, 2007, Kingdom Hearts II was re-released as Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix in Japan.

Chronologically, Kingdom Hearts II occurs after Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and before Kingdom Hearts coded. The game follows Roxas during his six days in the virtual Twilight Town, and Sora from when he wakes up from the restoration pod until he is reunited with Riku and Kairi at Destiny Islands.

The theme song of Kingdom Hearts II is Passion in the Japanese version, and Sanctuary in the English and Final Mix versions. Both songs are by Utada Hikaru. Other music in the game is composed by either Yoko Shimomura or Kaoru Wada.

Story

You begin this game playing as Roxas, a boy who has unknowingly been captured and put into a virtual version of Twilight Town. The virtual Twilight Town is infiltrated by Roxas' old friend, Axel, however Roxas does not remember him. Roxas has recurring dreams about Sora's memories, and he meets with a girl called Namin

There is an intriguing fact about the american ESRB rating: The game would have been E if Barbossa hadn't taken a sip of rum during Sora's trip in Port Royal. Making this the second game to include the ingestion of a drug. The first being Chain of Memories.

I'm not sure on how that can be added to the current information, but it is a nice fact to add.

At the end of Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix It Still said upcoming so i fixed it.

This video is titled Birth by Sleep and is a teaser for the game, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep.

Everything else is fine.

There was another composer for this game. Kaoru Wada made the 'cinematic' music; Showdown at Hollow Bastion, Destiny Islands, Hand in Hand, and one other piece (Name escapes me now)

Soroxas, that sounds like speculation. I haven't heard of anything saying "the game would have been E if...". Also, the drug thing is interesting, but it's not really important enough to put in.

Sora96 and hatok, I've put in both of your changes.

What about the mushrooms? You didn't mean anything about it.

'You can fight the twelve mushrooms where each has a minigame which has a minimum score and if, the player manages to complete the twelve different minigames, he can meet the last mushroom in Radiant Garden. The player is also rewarded with a new keyblade and a crown.' And I also noticed that the word theater is not written correctly.

The spelling is fine.

Thanks for the Mushrooms bit though.

Updated this thread and the game page.

The spelling is fine.

Oh, sorry. It's because I saw that in every game it is "Theater" not "Theatre".
