maybe they're buying mega man. a man can dream.

Well a new IP is something we haven't seen before. So therefore, we don't know. Hopefully something Zelda-esque or action based. I would love to see more of that particular genre on Nintendo consoles.

They announced Cranky Kong at the VGX, they said there could be a new IP but there wasn't, it was just Cranky Kong.

I PRAY TO GOD ITS SOMETHING NEW! WE NEED A NEW NINTENDO IP

I imagine it will be something great, since it is being made by Miyamoto, himself. I imagine it possibly will be a FPS, since Miyamoto have always been interested in that genre, and he says it will have alot of action, plus Nintendo really needs a FPS, and who better to make it, than the Father of Modern Videogaming, himself.

I honestly don't care what this new IP is, as long as it brings something fresh along with it. Like, baby bottom fresh.

FPS is a laughable idea. I say Nintendo should not touch such a cliche genre thats starting to die down.
