You awake for the first time. You try to recall what has brought you here, but nothing comes to mind. You see others around you, also waking up for the first time. Confused, you sit up as a voice echoes all around you.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Boys and Girls,

Welcome to the Amnesia Games!

You have been allowed to remember three things

Your name

Your goal in life

And your skills in combat

And some of you don't even have one of those!

I have brought you here

From all over the omniverse

You each have an interesting story

But none of you know it

Because I have taken your memories

And the only way to get them back

Is to play my little game

So have fun

I'll be in touch

And the voice goes silent.

Mission 1: Interact with each other! Find out everybody else's name. One memory will go to each group at the end of the mission.

Renton 'Ren' Kisaragi, Neena Mors, Switch, and Noah Himitsu awake in a dense forest.

Walter Evergreen, Joshua Akira, Dom Locke, and Bronshu Wes awake near a bubbling spring in a flower meadow.

Morgan Etiam Vinctum, Mes Orem, Wolf, and Rexon Wrexx awake in a desert, sand blowing and sun shining.

Sylar awakes at a snow-covered mountaintop, all alone.

Kelly looked at Walter. "I know what you mean. I have had that happen to me already. I don't know why, but even a simple gunblade makes me feel weird. I wish we could remember why things are important to us. I also feel like there was someone in my life, someone who was very important to me and keeps me strong when I feel weak." Kelly said not knowing that she was thinking of Horizont.

"Just because we don't have our actual memories doesn't mean the holes they go in aren't there." Dom pointed out.

Holstering her blade, Dom grabbed a couple of food items that didn't need cooking and started eating. She paused a moment, feeling something else was needed.

"We might not remember, but the events of our pasts are still a part of who we are. Use it."

Dom continued to eat, an anger building inside her. Who ever was behind these took what was hers. That anger had a strangely calming effect on Dom. She had something to focus on. Whoever did this was going down.

"Oh.  I see."  Bronshu replies while waiting for his meal.  He lays on his back, staring up at the sky.  With arms behind his head, Bronshu says:  "That sort of thing hasn't happened to me yet."  He puts his hand over his chest, where his heart is at.  Then he starts feeling on him.  He reaches and pulls out a silver dog necklace.  Gazing it, his eyes grew wide and said:  "Now it's happened."

"What is it Bronshu?" He said, focusing on both food and Bronshu.

"You said when you see something your mind doesn't know, but your heart does?  Well I'm having to feeling."  Bronshu replied with a serious tone.  He holds out the necklace and says:  "This necklace.  When I'm looking at it, I have the sense that this holds a huge sadness.  I feel like it's supposed to remind me of something or someone important.  I...I think it relates to my sister."

"Good!" Walter smiled. "Now we have progress! You have a sister! And that must be hers..." He looked at Bronshus forlorn face. "That face..." Walter came over with half of the finished eggs. "You can talk it through with me...what you think...the scene...words...anything else it invokes... It might help with the memory..."

Bronshu stares at the necklace intensely.  He tries focusing on how it matters to himself.  But no such luck sadly.  No other piece came to him.  Sighing out of disappointment, Bronshu says:  "Nothing.  I feel like I'm close, but I can't reach the memory."  Bronshu stands up and says:  I'll just have to try again later."

"Glad I could try and help..." He smiled. "It will come back to you...family and friends are hard memories to erase..."

Kelly looked at some bacon that was in her eggs. She started to think about what was so familiar about that. "Pork......why is it so familiar? And why does it make me remember liver? Wait a moment, pork liver, LIVER PORK!!!!!!!!!!! THATS IT!!!!!!" Kelly shouted out.

Walter turned around. "What was that?"

Bronshu turned and said:  "Huh?"

Kelly looked at them both. "I just remember something very important, the nickname liver pork and that lead to me remembering the most important thing. I just remember a boy by the name of Horizont who was very important to me, the most important thing to me. I think I have a true love named Horizont." Kelly said with a smile.

"Good!" He hugged Kelly "Congratulations! Ms.Kelly!" He smiled. "Progress... Ms. Kelly..." He let go. "Now you two have something to fight for..." His smile broke for a moment.

"...What...?" Joshua replied drowsily, waking up from his second sleep by someone exclaiming 'liver pork.' Liver pork, of all things...liver pork. He slowly trudged himself to the others from bed, mostly because of the delicious smell of food. "Huh...Walter...what is there to eat...?"

"Anything you want!" Walter said, smiling demeanor returning. "Just say the word !"

The stab impacted Ryonne. He knew it was over as soon as he felt the first wave of pain. He slumped. The wound wouldn't kill him, but he would definitely be incapacitated for now. As he left consciousness, he realized that Derik was falling as well. This was great. Fantastic you could say. It would be a draw.

And we have the result of our first

Memory Battles!

It appears to be a tie for first

between Ryonne and Derik!

They are dismissed now

Both with a shiny new memory!

The voice spoke. When his short speech ended, all three vanished in a flash of light, and found themselves asleep in their bedrolls, all their wounds healed, and equipment restored to former states.

~~~~~~~~
Mes smiled at Auron. "You're right. We still got a long journey ahead. We should get some rest." All the others spoke their agreements, and they all went back to their bedrolls, and went back to bed.
~~~~~~~~

Rija listened to Robert as he spoke of his memory. At the end of what he said, Rija nodded, her eyes still locked on the stars. "You're right." She said, turning her gaze back to him. "We all need to keep going, in order to figure out our identities, if not for ourselves, then to honor those we forgot." Rija glanced at her wedding ring. She would find him if it was the last thing she ever did. The soldier looked back up to Robert with a very slight smile on her face. "Anyway, we better get some rest. It was good to get to know you better Robert." She said, and Robert nodded in return. Rija crawled over towards her bedroll, and climbed in. She settled down, and let the sweet siren song of sleep take her away.

~~~~~~~~
The cock-a-doodle-doo of a rooster is heard all over the small world. Then the voice comes back on.
Morning all!
Welcome back to the Amnesia Games!
I hope you had a good amount of sleep,
Because you're going to need that energy!
Now, you will find a newcomer waking up among you
He/She is of no threat to you, I promise
They are merely a last minute participant.
Anyway, I'll be back soon with your latest quest.
The voice ended, as all woke up. Ryonne sat up, bleary eyed and sleepy. He had ben through a hard battle the night before, yet he was still here, and completely fine no less. Then Ryonne realized something. He could recall a memory! Ryonne thought back on it....
Ryonne was younger, but not by much. One or two years max. He watched as some sort of soldier marched around a town. His town. The younger him watched in awe as they walked in an orderly fashion, weapons at the ready. The leader of sorts barged into a home, and Ryonne could only watch in deepening disgust as they set the home on fire. He heard the screams of his neighbors... his friends. But these were Enforcers, there was no way he could fight back... Ryonne could only watch as the Enforcers continued this pattern. Finally they came across a man, who dared stand up to them. They struck him down easily. His body collapsed to the ground, and a younger girl ran crying to his body. Ryonne could feel tears coming to his eyes now. The Enforcers read something off a gauge of some sort, a darkness meter he realized, then vanished through a portal of light.
Ryonne flashed back to the present. The memory... it reminded him of his goal. He wanted peace, and though everyone had scoffed at him, Ryonne couldn't help but see the possibility of it. But now he had seen that. And now his hope faded....
Brooklyn awoke, saying nothing, he waited for the group to awaken and for the next goal to be set. He imagined that he could probably find someone from his world, doubtfully, if he was there likely one more of his world would have been taken at the least. as well. "If we manage to find anyone of our world's, this would be easy with the right level of work." He thought, not caring of the other's words, he sat up in his bedroll and got out of it, stretched, and summoned his keyblades to inspect them for damage or maybe a hint to what they were. He flashed back to the one memory he had on him on the moment: The day Snow was taken. He first remembered the orphanage waving good-bye to them as they drove off, a girl with purple hair in particular, but her name escaped him. Next, he saw the many people interviewing himself and his friends, not too fun, the moment we had a break, the three went to the near-by library, where the stories of Keyblades and Worlds enchanted Kane too much, and where he took Snow into the darkness with him. the flashback ended as his checking of his weapons also ended. He sent them back to whence they came and looked around. "I want to know more about my world..." he thought, looking around at their surroundings.
Derik could feel the memory enter his head. A moment of extreme pressure and, though dangerous, the most outrageous fun he has had in his life.
The warming cockpit of the mech, the E.V.A, glowed red with warning signs, the vastness of space showed on his visual screen as well, his hands were drawn back and the motion-sensing suit he had caused the mech to do the same. Ahead of him, the three ships of what the memory told him were "SA's". What that meant he didn't know, but the memory of this moment was good enough. Off to the side, Rodin, who he had shouted to move, he was in a red, heavily armored and using a drill mech. The mech moved, and Derik yelled out the words: "Kame.... Ha.... Me..... Ha!". The arms moved with his as the machine aimed the beam directly at the ships. His hair all stood strait up as the blue beam fired from the mech's hands and the warning signs slowly disappeared, the heat in the cockpit was going down, he remembered, it was nearly seven hundred degrees as the beam fired, only a short few hundred-thousand miles above earth's surface and an object that started with the word "G". The memory petered out at that moment. Derik awoke to his injury's gone, and he decided since he was a ways away from the group, not too far, but far enough since he was on the farthest corner of the force field, he decided to try doing the beam again, only with his regular body. He didn't care if it didn't work, it was too awesome to not do. He drew his hands back like in the memory and focused his energy to his hand. "Kame...Ha...Me....Ha!" he muttered, throwing the blast forward, although no energy came out. "I better get some cool powers or something soon..." he thought, the beam failing him. He started walking over to the group and gathering materials. If he was going to be forced to go somewhere with these people, he might as well use his skills in survival and gather up everything for the voyage ahead.
Joshua smiled, still tiredly, but he couldn't stop glancing back down at the food. "Th-thanks, but go ahead and keep eating. I- I'll get my own food." He stammered shyly, purely because there were other people there. All people he had already seen or spoke about a sentence to, but even as a group, not quite comfortable with talking to any except Walter. He looked over the food, taking a plate. "Huh...there is a lot of food...." He whispered to himself. Picky as he is, there were a few things he liked, but really just grabbed some pork and bacon.(Not many awake....) Noah looked at his companions, almost all of them reluctant to speak as he was. Silently, he went on out of his bedroll and to the food. (We should head out as soon as everyone's eaten....) He looked to the other people in the forest with him, (We can't waste much time. I don't even know a thing yet....) He kept thinking to himself, as usual, taking a bit of almost everything and beginning to eat. The thing he craved over anything was just memory...at least...one simple memory."What on Earth are you doing?" Morgan inquired, standing right beside Derik in mere moments of him not noticing. "I can speak quite a bit of probably the least-known or least-spoken language there is, and I fail to comprehend what you're saying. Or doing, for that matter...." She was rather serious in expression, going to go and get food once she's gotten answers.
Rexon tried again to remember what he saw in his dream, but couldn't.  Sighing, he stands up and says:  "Each time I try to think of it, it just doesn't come.  But I won't stop until I remember."  He turns left and sees Derik up and awake.  Rex watches him performing some kind of action with his arms and hands.  Laughing, he says:  "Whatever that is, it looks cool."
Ren llooked around at his other teammates, and reapeated "We know there are other groups... Some intertwined, some not... One man says his... Wife is in the tournament... Suspects,anyways... I have fought him, but the game did not let me win... It seems the master wanted a victory by putting me out of commission, but settled for a draw..." He touched the place where his heart should be. "I have fought one of my own... Ryone...""Two new memories have been given..."
Robert rose an eyebrow when he heard Ren mention a man whose wife was here. [Could that be Raja's husbind?] he thought to him self, but didn't say anything. He was sure the though had already passed through Raja's mind. Instead, he finished eating, and turned towards Noah. He hadn't talked to him yet, and decided he might as well get to know him a little better before they encountered their next challenge. "Hey Noah, if you don't mind me asking, what's the goal you're striving for?"
Joshua smiled, still tiredly, but he couldn't stop glancing back down at the food. "Th-thanks, but go ahead and keep eating. I- I'll get my own food." She was rather serious in expression, going to go and get food once she's gotten answers.
"Something of no concern of yours, lady." Derik replied, shoving her away. "I don't like people in my personal space."
Robert rose an eyebrow when he heard Ren mention a man whose wife was here. [Could that be Raja's husbind?] he thought to him self, but didn't say anything. He was sure the though had already passed through Raja's mind. Instead, he finished eating, and turned towards Noah. "Hey Noah, if you don't mind me asking, what's the goal you're striving for?"
(I was sure her name was Rija...right?)Noah looked at Robert for a few moments, blankly, but clearly in deep thought. For one, he was never the kind of person to ignore a conversation with someone he didn't hate. He'd continue a conversation, but wouldn't start one. Even so, he kind of expected this to happen again, as most people seem to prefer awkward conversations over awkward silence. Secondly, the question itself was thought-provoking. "...My goal...?" He kept thinking... "To have...a happy ending of my own. Simple as it sounds...it's rather complicated for reasons I'm not exactly comfortable with telling you."Morgan took the quick shove from Derik, not pushing back as most others would at least be tempted to. "If you think you'd be so better off individually...without a group to be with...." She began, emotionlessly, "I'd look forward to seeing you try."
"Without you all I can just move forward and not wait for you all. Unless you can move as fast as me I don't want you hanging around; I simply have a goal to complete. Slow people bog me down and make it harder for me to continue." Derik responded. "I pick my fights and move fast and unseen, something you can't do with a group, unless you have some sort of trick you can use." He replied. "As well as I've faced two of the probable toughest in this world besides those who control this place and made it out in a draw with one and beat the other. Unless you move at speeds that let you tap into the timeforce I doubt you could even keep up with one of them and the other is armed with laser blades he can fire at will as well as the ability to project clones of himself, both with incredible magic and sensing powers. If you can keep up with that level of combat then maybe you could be of some use to me." He said, the matter-of-fact tone in his voice was more or less just a ruse. He felt it better to get away from people he could end up caring for and watching them die or turn on him. It's not a pleasant feeling, and since they were together before his incoming, logically the new guy should leave.
(It is Rija, he just seems to call her Raja...)
Kelly smiled. "Yeah, there is someone waiting for me. I am just so happy to remember him. He always made me smile even though he was sort of hot headed and acted like a child at times. He still taught me to be myself. But I don't know anything else yet, but I don't care about that because I am ready to take on the world if I have to just to see him again." Kelly said with a smile looking up at the sky.
Walter chuckled. "Someone to fight for..." He said, smile dropping.
Kelly looked at him. "Oh okay why the long face? You can't be thinking that you don't have someone to fight for out there. I think I like people to smile, so no frowning, okay?" Kelly said with a concerned smile.
