You awake for the first time. You try to recall what has brought you here, but nothing comes to mind. You see others around you, also waking up for the first time. Confused, you sit up as a voice echoes all around you.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Boys and Girls,

Welcome to the Amnesia Games!

You have been allowed to remember three things

Your name

Your goal in life

And your skills in combat

And some of you don't even have one of those!

I have brought you here

From all over the omniverse

You each have an interesting story

But none of you know it

Because I have taken your memories

And the only way to get them back

Is to play my little game

So have fun

I'll be in touch

And the voice goes silent.

Mission 1: Interact with each other! Find out everybody else's name. One memory will go to each group at the end of the mission.

Renton 'Ren' Kisaragi, Neena Mors, Switch, and Noah Himitsu awake in a dense forest.

Walter Evergreen, Joshua Akira, Dom Locke, and Bronshu Wes awake near a bubbling spring in a flower meadow.

Morgan Etiam Vinctum, Mes Orem, Wolf, and Rexon Wrexx awake in a desert, sand blowing and sun shining.

Sylar awakes at a snow-covered mountaintop, all alone.

Auron walked alongside the rest of the group, the scavanger quest didn´t sount bad at all... however... the feeling of danger remained. Then Derik and Rexon began to talk to each other about mechas, while Morgan was dark and creepy as ever. With the new guy around they were 7, Harry and Mes included, numbers where at their favor, however still the feeling of something wrong was inside Auron´s mind.  "I would preffer an airplane or something like that... At least with it we could move faster to the mountain...sigh..." He said in reply to Derik and Rexon´s conversation.

Breaking Derik from his trance, he looked over to the seemingly until now silent boy who sounded off his thoughts. "I would prefer something a little faster, like an air ship that can carry all of us at high speeds, not just a simple airplane." Derik replied.

Ryonne heard the call of Joshua. He glanced back to Brooklyn. "I will. But later. Something's happened." In a flash, Ryonne was gone, he was back next to Joshua. Instantly, he realized the problem. Walter had been stabbed. "Stand back." He said, commanding, but not too stern. He doubted Joshua would disobey, but he used his tone to reinforce just in case. Ryonne kneeled next to the weapon summoner, and put his hands over the wound. "Cura." He said, casting the spell. The swordsman wished he knew the next level of the spell, but his magic expertise only went so high. Still, it should be enough to greatly hasten the healing process, and begin restoring blood more quickly. Ryonne looked Walter straight in the eyes. "What happened? Who did this?" Ryonne asked, hoping to get a grasp on the situation. Brooklyn's words had recently brought him to a realization. He was the leader to these people. He may not like being in that position, but for the time being, he'd have to fulfill those responsibilities associated with the role.

Neena continued walking down the trail, finding herself alone quickly. Fine. She didn't need the others if they were just going to be slow. Then she heard a loud cry. Neena turned, and spotted the others under attack. The assassin conjured a dark corridor under her, and reappeared between Noah and Blank. She caught the baseball bat. It hurt her hand a bunch, but she had learned to tolerate pain. "I can't have you do that. Maybe he'd be useful for bait at some point." She said, her voice tinged with sarcasm. A blast of darkness exploded from her, knocking him back a little. Rija ran up, exchanging the laser battery in her pistol for the flamethrower modifications. The soldier pulled the trigger, and shot flames all around the general area, catching some of the brush on fire, and hopefully, setting their attacker on fire too.

Mes continued walking through the desert. The screams she herd off in the distance gave her an ominous feeling. She summoned One Winged Angel by her side as she canvassed the desert for the sword piece while getting towards the mountain.

Brooklyn didn't respond to the yell. "Hm. As predicted." He thought, walking over. "Not sure of the kind of magic you are using, but I can help with my own kind as well." He said, looking at his target. "Curhega." He sighed out, almost as if he did it by natural reaction. A slight grey/green aura enveloped the fallen man. "It should give him enough of a heal to restore him to almost normal and contenue healing him afterwards for a while, although it wouldn't without your "Cura" spell." He said. "Those who can heal others should likely save most of their strength for that and heal the stronger fighters, unless stronger fighters are the only ones with cure, in which case we should take the lead as vanguard as we walk and in battle, and the rest should be in the rearguard to keep us covered on all sides" Brooklyn told them. "Our friend here should be surrounded by others as he recovers so his energy stays at his restoration, if we go with the second plan."

"Your strategy rings true. However my healing magic isn't powerful enough to be considered something that should be accounted for and relied on while engineering a plan. My skills in magic tend to be pointed towards boosting others and my own strengths, and helping to make up for their weaknesses. I can also use all of my swordplay techniques without relying on my magical strength. So you could consider me a sort of exception to the two roles you have prepared in your battle plan." Ryonne said, having felt the need to point out his own strengths, and how the strategy pertained to him. "Anyway, this is not the time for that. Walter, are you okay?"

Breaking Derik from his trance, he looked over to the seemingly until now silent boy who sounded off his thoughts. "I would prefer something a little faster, like an air ship that can carry all of us at high speeds, not just a simple airplane." Derik replied.

"Sure it would be more useful indeed, emm Derik...right?" Auron replied to Derik´s answer, "Mmm... I´m curious indeed... how can someone could manipulate memories? IT sounds familiar to me but... somehow I can´t believe it all" Auron said while looking down to the sand. "Well ... I think we can figure it out, right Wolf ears?" He said while looking at the new one.

"It's not what you as a unit can do, its what we all do together. Survive in numbers, die in few. You can heal, that is a simple fact, and thus it should be taken advantage of." He replied, looking down at the fallen comrade. He was kinda cold, not really caring, it seemed. He was much more calculating than caring in any situation unless it involved someone he really knew. None of these people seemed too... Per-se, trustworthy yet, and since he wasn't facing imminent death or crisis, it was OK to be skeptical of them. It was natural, especially with a less diplomatic leader. Logically, it didn't make sense to just go into a direct relationship with these people since there wasn't a real reason to yet.

Mes continued walking through the desert. The screams she herd off in the distance gave her an ominous feeling. She summoned One Winged Angel by her side as she canvassed the desert for the sword piece while getting towards the mountain.

[it appears this one can teleport. Good to know.] Blank thought as he dodged Nena's flamethrower. The fringe of his coat was slightly singed, but otherwise he was okay. One of her hands was hurt from catching the bat earlier, and the other was clutching a gun, but he prepared himself for a counter attack nonetheless, from her or any of her comrades.

Walter looked at Ryone. "Mister Ryone... There are other unknowns... Like sylar... The one who attacked me can transform its body into others... It turned into Josh..." He got up slowly, as to not reopen the wound. "It aslo said... It knows our memories..."

(...But....) Joshua thought for a moment at Brooklyn's calculations and arrangements. (...Where would I go...?) He questioned himself. Joshua was now comfortable talking to Walter, growing a bit on Ryonne, but was too shy to speak to anyone else— Brooklyn included. (I can't fight...and I don't exactly have anything...well, magic or healing....) He shook his head, getting rid of those thoughts and focusing on Walter and what had happened. Hearing that someone had...shifted as him was unnerving, but...he did his best to ignore that thought as well. "...Do you...know where they went?" He asked Walter quietly, wiping the little bit of blood from his own arms but not bothering with what was on his clothes. He looked to Ryonne as well, mouthing the words: "Thank-you," for coming and healing Walter. He'd say the same to Brooklyn, but, still couldn't work up the nerve to.

Noah stood up, brushing his hand over his face and hair from being kicked in the face. "Appreciated," he began, to Neena, but still had his expression of annoyance. "At least for what you did and not said...." He looked back to Blank, following as he avoided the flames, silently taking back the knife he stabbed him with. Then after, he hid with the blazing forest, maneuvering through out of Blank's line of sight. He took as much flammable materials he could from the ground of the forest, coming back to Blank. "I didn't stab your good leg, did I?" He feigned a stab, but then halted it. He brought his knife back to him, but never stopped moving, having dropped all the materials he had on and under Blank. What was under him began to ignite already, and Noah went back in the shadows of the fires.

Surprisingly, she and Mes were the only ones to draw weapons, but Morgan looked ahead into the direction of the sun as a man in white walked towards them. As Derik spoke, he was pounced and mauled by a single chimera— one half panther and half-bear. Others swarmed and gathered in all directions of the group. Most chimeras appeared to be of two or more different animals, some of them half-human.

(What's going on with Harry's group?)

After Blank had struck Neena, he noticed Noah yank the knife out of his leg. He then fainted a stab and covered Blank in dead wood, brush, and other such things. However, Blank was able to roll out of the way of most of the fire, extinguishing what little had licked his clothes. It was then that an idea sprung into his mind... or, processing circuit, as it was. He grabbed a large stick with one of the ends on fire, and ran in a circle around the group, brushing the stick against trees and bushes all the while. His injured leg hurt terrably, but he pressed on, and soon there was a ring of fire surrounding his foes. But suddenly, Robert ran through the flames while intangable, became solid again, and charged at Blank. However, Blank was ready for him; he grabbed Robert by the arm and sent him flying into a nearby tree. "Well done, challengers, you are formidable indeed." he said, and ran away. [Excellent, it seems the data I've gathered will surely prove useful later on. If only the pain in my leg would go away.] he though as he fled.

Robert faded in and out of conscious. Half of him regretted charging at Blank so carelessly, while the other regretted that he hadn't come to help sooner. Suddenly, he noticed something sparkle a few feet away from him, but his vision was so blurry that he couldn't tell what it was. Blank must've thrown him pretty hard. He crawled towards the object, put it in a pocket in his hoody, and fell unconscious.

(Hey Yuffie, could you please decide what Robert grabbed? I'd do it myself, but I didn't want to give him something good only to find out that it was unfair of me to do so. Feel free to make it whatever you think would be best, whether that would be something nice like a sword piece, a piece of junk, or anything in between. Thank you.)

Mes scanned her surroundings, now holding her keyblade in her standard fencing stance. The chimeras were slowly surrounding the group, and Derik had already been attacked. She could see the silhouette of a man in front of the sun. She launched a fireball at one of them, but it easily dodged her attack. Mes swore under her breath. She had no chance fighting them at long range like this. She'd have to wait until the situation evolved further.

Rija clicked the laser battery back into her pistol as Blank ran away. Apparently they had just been the victims of a hit and run. Neena continued scanning her surroundings for other threats, but nothing presented itself immediately. Now they were concerned only with the fire and an unconscious Robert. The assassin looked to the soldier, and asked a question. "Do you have any sort of healing device?" Rija shook her head, and Neena turned back to Robert's incapacitated form. She snapped her fingers and a stretcher of light formed under him, and hovered a few inches above the ground. Rija understood Neena's intentions to leave the forest, and communicated them with the rest of the group.

"Hey guys, we should probably high-tail it out of this forest before we're burnt to a crisp." Rija said, starting to run in the direction of the mountain. Neena followed.

~~~~~~~
Ryonne glanced at Broolyn. "We will meet tonight. And I never said anything about not working together. I said healing isn't my strong suit. I'd further my edits into your tactics, but now isn't the time." Ryonne turned back to Walter, and listened to what he had to say. A Joshua huh? Incredibly odd. Some sort of morphing magic would be Ryonne's best bet. But the fake Joshua had also said "he" knew all of their secrets. Ryonne thought back to the demolished village. Would she know even the secrets they themselves didn't know? Might that be a reliable source of information to their histories? Possibly... But that didn't matter. He needed tocare for his people. Joshua asked a follow-up question, but Ryonne stopped him. "No, the imposter is probably to far gone now to catch. And if they can morph into anything, then they'd be impossible to find or track  anyway. Thank you Walter for telling us what you know. For now, it'd probably be best to store that information, and keep heading towards the mountain." Ryonne said clearly, directing Walter and Joshua to keep going towards the mountain. He also gave a nod to Joshua in response to the mouthed thank you.
(What's going on with Harry's group?)
(Wait what?)
(The desert group is being attacked by Isaac and a ton of chimeras. Derik, in particular, was just mauled by one, as Yuffie said.)Morgan slashed at another pouncing chimera, in her direction. It staggered back with a whimper, but ignored the blood and prowled around as if not hurt anymore. She covered the sunlight with her hand, seeing Isaac in the distance, merely examining the group as of now. "Hm...." He looked at the entirety of the group as chimeras attacked more, constantly. "A group composition of easy failure, from what I can tell.""That was rather abrupt." Noah remarked, with a sigh, running a bit ahead towards the mountain and away from the flames. He was slightly burnt from using the fires to conceal his presence half the time, but it wasn't any greater than Robert's injuries. He was unconscious, actually. "We don't have time to waste. Care to him later, I'll get him for now." Noah struggled, but lifted Robert on his back and strolled ahead to the others. (...I can hardly believe I'm doing this at all....)"I guess so...." Joshua agreed, staying near Walter while heading to the mountain. He smiled with Ryonne's approval again, then examining everything around him. Plenty of wildlife around. Insects roamed about, birds flew above them, and there were probably snakes and the like somewhere in the area. No one could say for sure where the culprit fled.
(Well then.)Derik felt the odd creature tackle him. Sighing, he pulled one of his throwing picks and jabbed it into the creature's neck. It acted fast, the toxin, killed it moments later. Pushing the body off of himself, he contenued on. "A little beast is nothing. Just stab it and keep going." He said, grabbing a few more of the picks, he threw them at the odd mixtured beasts. Three of them were struck, and died as well. "Blah blah deadly neurotoxin blah blah the cake is a lie." He mumbled, incredibly bored."Nor did I say you weren't to. Sometimes we must take Jobs that we are not the best at but can do." Brooklyn replied. "Also, you must start thinking more logically. He is alive, not bleeding, and recovering. Your next move from there should have been to allow the wounded to rest and regain strength as you regroup, then get answers. Those who are injured and are recovering need to focus on that alone." Brooklyn stated. Combat tactics, logic, thurow thinking, even in stressed situations. "I am also keeping watch out for another attack, as its likely that he or she whom attacked our comrade was attempting to lure us here. A smart man or woman would be more aware of their surroundings and the situation, then in response to all of this, the appropriate move would have been to heal him as much as possible to we can move, then move to a more defenseable position, have one member stand guard, two others scout the area around together to give them a chance, then formulate a new movement plan and execute it after getting information on our enemy. The lone guard around us would be able to see something abnormal occouring, likely, and the ones we sent to scout go together and cover for each-other as we hope to find some sort of rest point that is safe enough." Brooklyn's advice was of the best that could be done. "And if it can transform into anything, we would surely had been dead by now, as it could hide under the ground below us, one millimeter below at the least, and then transform itself into a large, very spiky and poision-laced set of spikes, so its somewhat safe to assume that it cannot transform into everything, unless it wants to wait to kill us, which would be odd." He added on. "In the case it can only turn into out friends, then our scout party would have to be instructed to give a specific signal when they return, for safety reasons." Brooklyn was analyzing the situation. "Our greatest hope is to move forward fast and ignore anything that dosent have to do with a rest stop. One person would have to always stand guard to try and ensure safety. And if this thing knows all about us, then it would be better to avoid it all together as it will know all of our weaknesses and skills anyway, as well as perfect counters to them." Brooklyn's more analitical side showed way too much...
Ryonne put his head in his hands and forced himself to bite back a sharp insult. Or worse, a sharp sword. 1... 2... 3... Ryonne looked up at Brooklyn. His strategy was sound. Ryonne began. "First off, he is the only wounded. We have healed him, and he is physically fine. A wise man once said that working something off is the best way to fix a problem. Second off, I am trusting that everyone is sensible enough, and capable enough to watch out for themselves. Besides, we're all within sight distance, so we can rush to aid at a moment's notice anyway. Also, we need to keep moving. That mountain is so far the only kind of solace we could possibly find out here. That's the goal, and if we don't achieve, then who knows what's going to happen to us. It's not like we're going to gain much information with a scouting party anyway. All of our enemies so far have expressed extreme combat proficiency, and an ability to move places where we cannot, making a scouting party ineffective and dangerous. And we've already covered that staying still is a bad idea, so let's move on. I agree that I may have exaggerated slightly with the turn into anything statement, however we still have no idea as to it's full potential and motives. It's possible they are only here to make a show. If that's the case, an anticlimactic death like that would not have been entertaining in the slightest. So the overall verdict is keep moving towards that mountain, and stop when absolutely needed. We also have no need to risk any form of scouting party. If this was the final verdict you came to as well, then let's get going before someone else get hurt." Ryonne concluded.
He grasped his sheathed blade, and started walking towards the mountain. He took a few steps, then stopped, and looked over his shoulder. "And if I am not good enough for you, then kill me here. I'm not perfect, and I have no experience with being a leader. I'm doing the best I can to make sure everyone stays alive and we make it to the mountain. So do it if you don't think I am a good enough "leader" for you." Ryonne said. The swordsman needed Brooklyn's trust. He needed his support.
He decided the best way to do this was to put his life in his hands. He could only hope that he did make the right decision doing this. Ryonne thought back to the village demolished by the police force he remembered. He couldn't ever become a tyrant like that, with no respect or cause for the individuals he leaded. Ryonne slowly drew his blade, and placed it on the ground next to him, and put the sheath next to it.
Choice! This trial is for Brooklyn alone. He can decide whether to put his trust in Ryonne's leadership and sheath the blade, or he can decide that Ryonne is incapable, and take the blade to it's user. No other character can, at this moment change anything until the choice is made.
After a decent bit of running, Blank felt confident that he wasn't being followed, he stopped to give his leg a rest. He tried to review what he'd lerned from the battle, but he was distracted by some strange feeling inside of him. Was he... mad at losing so quickly to those people? [Hm... peculiar.] he thought. This was the second time today he thought he felt emotion.
Walter looked at Byroklyn. "It's what the shifter wants... Don't play in his trap!" He grabbed his hand weakly.
