The future is bright at Square Enix if people purchase their games

Posted

Square Enix is obviously struggling financially but there's plenty of reasons to be positive about their short term and long term future.

FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn has been a massive success. FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster is selling great in Japan. Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX has also sold great worldwide.

And just look at their upcoming lineup:

FINAL FANTASY VI (iOS)

LIGHTNING RETURNS: FINAL FANTASY XIII (English version)

FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster (English version)

FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn (PlayStation 4)

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX

Not to mention it's likely they'll release FINAL FANTASY IX on PC, FINAL FANTASY II, IV, IV: The After Years, V and VI on Windows Phone in the next year or so.

And Square Enix has confirmed that they'd like to release a HD remaster of FINAL FANTASY XII. And if we're lucky we'll also get HD remasters of Crisis Core and Dirge of Cerberus in the next couple years.

And in the long term future we've got FINAL FANTASY XV, Kingdom Hearts III and the inevitable FINAL FANTASY X-3.

And I didn't even mention the spin-off games, Kingdom Hearts Online (likely for smartphones and tablets), Tomb Raider and Hitman.

The future is bright at Square Enix but only if people purchase their games.

What? There's no status there.

You deleted it that's why. I proved you wrong and you removed the status. Jfc.

I didn't delete anything. Jfc?

Well I didn't find a post of yours from July last year and magically read made up text and send you a dead link that's for sure.

What could I possibly gain from deleting a status? Nothing.

I thought FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn's Beta was great. And since then it's won awards and far exceeded Square Enix's expectations.

The page still exists for a status of yours, so something must have been there... It seems highly unlikely that anyone other than you would delete the status.

Having said that. if it was deleted by another mod, it must have been a really controversial status and, for that, I salute you...

What's funny is that it isn't a dead link, it links to Sora96's status which has magically been deleted. Since he denies deleting it, it must have been a mod. I wonder which mod would care enough to delete one specific status. Very odd.

My original point was that you said you found the game boring, you later denied it and your status magically disappeared when I called you out. I'm tired of having a pointless argument with you as there is just no reasoning with you. If you had said, "I did find the game boring to begin with but then it turned out to be a fun experience" then maybe I would have said fair enough but you didn't. You are only saying FF14 is great because it won awards and SE did a great job at turning the game around from it's previous disaster and not because you actually play the game.

Or maybe you do play it and actually have a valid opinion but somehow I doubt it.

Like I said though, I'm tired of having a pointless argument.

Eh it's fine I don't mind. I just know I didn't simply make up this imaginary status of his.

Why make a big deal over a status link? Come on mate.

I make controversial statuses every once in awhile.
