January 21, 201411 yr What Sora96 said, a number of companies do that, same as a number of influential youtubes get sent free products to praise review them for free Considerably cheaper than a marketing campaign
January 21, 201411 yr And why shouldn't they ? Like....I don't find it strange or weird . It's how business works . Companies "advertise" their products in a freakingly cheap way .
January 21, 201411 yr There's entire divisions of companies dedicated to posing as average joes and saying positive things about products online. Of course, most companies really only put forth the effort when their product is crappy and they want to squeeze as much money out of it as they can. This doesn't really seem like standard operating procedure, though. This is a desperation measure because Microsoft KNOWS the 'One' is failing hard. Edited January 21, 201411 yr by Kaweebo
January 25, 201411 yr This is a desperation measure because Microsoft KNOWS the 'One' is failing hard. Which is why they released a report that the Xbox One outsold the PS4 in America. This same report caused Nintendo to announce that the Wii U was not a success and that they will begin development of another console to compete.
January 25, 201411 yr The only things I think the Xbox One is good for is IF they make a good Banjo Kazooie,Viva Pinata,Halo,Left 4 Dead

Except overseas where the PS4 is outselling Xbox One by about a million units.
