What do you remember about yor life? What do you wish for the future? What lies beneath the dawn of a new day?

 

On this time, those questions means nothing, as the world has faded into despair. A certain catastrophe has covered the world into chaos, and from that day on, monsters began to roam the land, the cause of it, is yet not known however, the people says that, after the world ruined itself, the floating continent rised above the sky.

 

Two years has passed since that day, and now people are on constant struggle, trying to live on this dying land. But hope is not lost yet, as people began to show something special. A “power” that alone is not enough but together, maybe the people blessed with that gift will be able to save us…

 

Ok guys so here is the deal: You will began on the town of Rainfall (heroes) somewhere on America near the now formed new shore of the Atlantic ocean. (Floating continent stuft.) Where the catastrophe is said to be origined. As well you have been given a power, allowing you to fight the monsters roaming the land. Will you be able to find out the truth about the catastrophe and save the Earth?. (yep it takes place in our dear blue planet, deal with it).

You will be able to use man made weapons as a support. However as the world is in ruins those are limited to:

· Knives

· Bow and arrows

· Lances

· Pistols

However the technomancer can creater better things like laser or chainsaws, but those are only for his/her own use and are time limited. (Certain time passes and poff bye weapon).

 

But Of course we need antagonist, so they have powers too:

· Monsters control (Cloaked Scheemer)

· Mind ilussions and great speed (Neko chan)

· Earth bending (like avatar ).

 

Unlike the protagonist they want to get control of the ruined world seeing it´s state as a advantage. Also they would have certain “contact” with someone. Their powers are stronger but they can die.

Two years later, with lost friends and family alike, the hopes to save the one who started it all still persists, maybe with the sole purpose of saving himself.

Personality: As innocent, polite, and sincere he is-- Joshua's life is tarnished by the catastrophe of the world. There are several interpretations of 'innocence,' and many of those were lost while some remained with his childish demeanor. His sorrow shows clearly when something triggers it, but otherwise, is passive yet overshadowed by joy-- be it genuine or fake. In such a way, he does his best to cling himself to his life before the catastrophe, trying to have the same personality.

Bio: There was never anythings particularly special about Joshua, nor his family, for that matter. He was intelligent-- even skipped a few grades, and overall very wise for his age. Not that it mattered. His parents and ancestors preceding him never did much that mattered either, all of their hopes were thrown on to him. Evidently, Joshua was never one to converse with his family all too much, not even his parents, unless spoken to. He had friends, but they weren't completely trustworthy, and he was never with them outside of school.
When the world's catastrophe took place, his family was mostly unaffected, themselves, relatively save. Soon after-- the survivors, out of desperation, out of despair-- took everything. They were a wealthy family-- a prime target. Murder, no, massacre took place, and Joshua's first innocence was taken along with everything and everyone around him. He has nothing against the monsters that wreck the world, but does against the humans that inhabit it.

Personality: Morgan's prime point of personality is her magnanimous and condescending nature, swollen with her prideful hubris and superior among others-- but so chastise and giving of a person mere moments after. She claims to be a paragon, the archetypal apotheosis for all future life forms to follow. Not a paragon of just virtue, but also of sin. Her extremist religiousness with herself bring incredibly malicious pursuits and endeavors. By following them, she will turn this catastrophe into evermore a cataclysm.

Bio: Black-- the color representing the embodiment of nothingness, of a lack of emotion, or even of death. Morgan has been clad in black clothing far too many times, it represented her sadness, the dread of death she has witnessed and attended. So many times, too many times, it no longer represented her sadness. It represented her life-- it represented her.
But the catastrophe was bound to happen. So many other people to be clad in the same blackness she had, mourning over the deaths of others while Morgan was constantly questioned, after all of her actions: "What is there for you to fight for?" There was never anything to. And still is...but she is now the paragon of all existence. Immune to the blackness that consumed her life and replaced it with melancholy. She became an angel, and at the same time, a demon. But when would she be rewarded for her virtues? When would she be punished for her sins? ...Who would? God has a plan for everyone. But who does it benefit? "Everyone?" Or himself?
The outcome wouldn't matter, Morgan had to become her own harbinger of reward and punishment. Petty humans' weeps and cries were always heard from her, just as the world heard as well. Appearance: Straight black hair, long in the front but still neat. Angular face, sharp features. Ever present smirk. Piercing blue eyes. Rectangular lens glasses. Tall and thin, but his arms are well-muscled. Wears a clean white button up, untucked and with the sleeves rolled up. Black suit pants, and some regular black shoes.

Personality: Quint is quite the scholar. He was a constant learner, then and now. Due to his insatiable thirst for learning, he has become quite knowledgeable in many subjects. This also means that his sarcastic, condescending nature always has something to go on. He likes to tease people about some of their mistakes and flaws, and isn't afraid to recognize his own. Quint also always thinks things through before his actions, often giving him an edge in combat.

Bio: Quint was a typical college student. Well, not typical. Incredible college student is more like it. Not only was he the head of all of his classes, but he had extra time to learn about random things that would interest. He saw a guide dog, how are they trained? Learned. Primate diet and diseases? Learned. Many were jealous, but Quint didn't see it as so odd. He was just enjoying a hobby. Then crisis occurred. There was a lot of chaos in the college that day. Lots of screaming, and dying. But Quint forced himself forward. He stepped over many a corpse in the hall. There was no choice. Quint finally got out... the lone survivor. He found a settlement, and well, settled. It was well-governed, and small. He was of great help to the community, with his constant fountain of knowledge about agriculture, plumbing, electricity. When he wasn't needed though, Quint like to hunt. He grew adept with his bow, hunting down the various monsters around the settlement. He hunted not only for the extra meat, but for the chance to observe the beasts. He has compiled a notebook of information about every beast he's encountered. That's how he kept himself learning in the dystopian world. Eventually though, a large horde of beasts attacked the village. Quint tried his best to hold them off... but he ran out of arrows. Faced with no choice but to go forward, Quint fled.

Not much has happened yet. Everyone's discovering their new powers, and a horde of wolf-like monsters are attacking four characters just outside of the town, who are making a mad dash to the gate, which is about to close on them. Or at least, that's what I think's happening.

Elements of the story for everyone:

 

The Catastrophe: 

Two years before the events of the RP, a serie of events surrounding Rainfall town, ebded up with the rise of the Floating Continent, destroying half of the town and many towns and cities over the floating surface. After the rise of the continent, however monsters began to appear from lights coming from it, causing chaos and deaths around the world. The U.S goverment tried to destroy the Continent, however this only ended in the erasure of almost every military force around the world. Also the cycle of day and night was broken, causing the world to end in a permanent dusk causing plants and life to decrease in number. 

Since that day population decreased  around the 900000 people worldwide.

 

Monsters: 

Creatures born from the Floating continent, these ravaged the land, coming into diferent shapes and sizes. Althrough many studies have served to find weakness on these, as time progress, human numbers decreased, causing monsters numbers to increase at a fast pace. 

 

The floating continent:

A huge mass of land floating on the atlantic ocean shore. A barrier protecs it from access by planes. No one knows what lies there, however is said the origin of the catastrophe, as well the way to end it lies there.

 

Rainfall town:

Population (2 years ago): 235000 (Today):400

A town surrounding by walls, in their good old days was a town famous for the amount of rivers crossing it, as well their green plains. After catastrophe, half of the place was dived on the ocean, or ended in the floating continent, while the other half was seriously damaged. Although is said to be the town where everything started, the amount of monsters around it is lesser than in other places. 

Places of interest:

The main street: You can find a shop running here as well the orphanage.

The east district: Many people lives here, also the old church lies here.

The west district: It´s almost abandoned, however the Rainfall tavern as well the Alameda park lies here.

River bridge: A river crossing the town, the only source of water for all citizens. It was sealed for avoiding monsters to enter the town but it allows the water to get in.
