We were living in a time of technology advances, a time of union and for unknown reasons a time of true peace. We were around 7000 millions of people around the Earth. You can be sure that no one could have predicted that in only two years the population would have been reduced to only 900000 people, scattered around the world. Cities like Paris, London and New York now are history, and never seen before monsters roam the fiends, the eternal dusk now covering the world makes to think than time itself has stopped, but looking around you see that statement is a pure lie, and the eternal reminder of that day; the day of the Catastrophe, is the huge piece of land floating in the sky; the Floating Continent. 

 

But what exactly happened? Unfortunately, almost no one knows the reason, because almost everyone who knew... are death.

Chapter 00: The gift appears - The monsters invades. 

 

It was a new day again. By exact date you could say it was September 8th. The autumm will began soon... but since two years ago, that means nothing, at least not here in Rainfall. This town, once known by it´s rivers and green fiends now was a place surrounding by walls. But for some people.... this day changed many things up. 

 

"Wooah! what the!" Well... that´s not the usual way to wake up morning, but for someone who broke the side table trying to tap the alarm clock... well that was shocking.... "How... Did I did that? No... maybe it was damaged or somethin... Geez!!" Again the same one was shocked as he broke the knob in the door. "what the ... ok... calm down... it´s nothing ... just calm down.... " he was saying this when he reminded of something: "Oh right It´s my turn in the watch!" He said while getting dressed and leaving the room as fast he could. Then he went outside the small and damaged house that he inhabit. His name was Edgar, and by such... the day that changed everything again... was about to begin. 

 

(Ok guys lets begin this RP. The story will be divided into chapters allowing to move in certain orden around the story... now the stage is yours.)

"Damn..." Jaxx said. " going back would be suicide..."

 

Zero looked back at his phone... He wondered..."Call QUINT, SORA..." The phone shot a green hue

 

Sora and quints phones rang.

Sora took her phone out. It was half charged and needed to be plugged into the charger she had hooked up to a small solar generator. Sighing softly, she answered.

"Hi?"

Kagi made beast after beast drop to the ground, but was quickly growing irritated, as the beasts he just brought down were almost immediately replaced by more from the trees, "This is going nowhere," Kagi's hand was getting colder, he was still getting used to his new powers, and had no idea what he would do if he tried to use them, but he was running out of options.

 

Kagi gave a swift swung of his arm, not sure what would happen, focusing on the cold as he did. With a chilling gust, a storm of ice shard was sent flying at the monsters, impaling most of the monsters, grazing and injuring this that weren't. Kagi stared at his hand, fascinated by his abilities, "I wonder what else I can pull off....." Kagi wondered out loud

Quint had been standing near the open gates, continuing to fire. His aim was off because of the splitting headache, but even on his off days, he was always able to hit and kill a target. Then his phone rang. Quint sighed heavily. Seriously, who was calling him at a time like this? He let go of his bow for a moment, and picked up his phone. He clicked answer, and held the phone to his ear with his shoulder as he resumed shooting. Why were there so many beasts? There were never this many around... "Hello?" Quint said into his phone.

Edgar moved back and made a hit on the monsters face. immediately, both were launched at the sky, for edgar´s surprise. "Am i really that strong?.... mmm...those thing surely do a lot of damage" he said while checking the scratch, then he turned to the others and began to ran back again, he noticed the guitar guy as well the cat-ear girl and the youngster. "Any plan about how defeat  these?" he asked. 

Oliver noticed a the kid outside of the gate (Joshua) pointing at him, and was about to come over when he noticed a guy who looked to be just older than him nearby (Kuro) pointing twin pistols at a girl who looked about his age (Kurami). He quickly but quietly ran over to the man and hit him in the back of the head with the blunt edge of his sword. "You okay?" he asked the girl.

"Agh!" He felt his head hurt, and then a nosebleed. "Goddamn... This is Zero. For those of you who don't know, I'm the man manning the gates right now..." The headache got stronger. "We've got a plan..." He have the phone over quickly. "Come on, kid... Tell them..."

Sora hung up.

"I'm right here." She said with annoyance, still standing right by Joshua.

Joshua's relief of having his plan to possibly enact with Jaxx's help was immediately decimated-- he hesitantly took the phone, regardless. A life and death situation, who would listen? Even if they did, who would listen to an eleven year old? No one would take a plan seriously when said by him, a childish high-pitched, soft-spoken voice. He did look to Sora though, who was of course, still standing right by him, and didn't need to be called, as well as Edgar who had come to them again. Joshua nervously strummed a few chords on the guitar Jaxx had him hold, trying to figure out how to phrase the plan to everyone.Something then came over him, in memory. A bit more confident in actually saying, he was still certain no one would care, "...The monsters, really are JUST wolves. They're strong, but we can outsmart them, easily. We just need one spot away from all the trees where we can round them up, freeze them to the ground and shoot them down. They'll all come there if there we are, if there's no prey anywhere else."

Quint pondered over the plan, still sniping unsuspecting wolves from his position near the gate. "It's an excellent idea. We'll need someone to be bait first though. I'd volunteer myself, but you need me covering the bait's backs until the freezing boy can do his job." Quint suggested. Was this plan from the same boy who had been in peril earlier? To be absolutely honest with himself, Quint was impressed. It was possible he could've come up with a similar plan, but not so quickly, and definitely not with the horrific headache he was going through.

"Mmmm It can work I guess. Alright then" Edgar replied to Joshua´s plan. "So one of us needs to be the bait mmm... Well I´m on close combat so... I guess I´ll be the bait." he said with confidence, not too much but well if the monsters enter the city, the chaos will be more than bearable. "Well... I hope you can cover me... Can you...right?" He asked... it´s no use to say he was worry...

He was a complete idiot to let his guard down. "I probably would have been able to take him...but thank you." She said, looking back to Oliver. "My name is Kurami, may I know your name please?" Kurami asked.

Sora checked ber guns.

"Alright. Let's do this." She said softly.

(Actually Daniel, I'm pretty sure I said that I didn't want to be bait...)

Oliver smiled, something he hadn't done since his uncle's death. It felt good to help people. "I'm Oliver, and you're welcome." He then noticed severall other people prepareing what seemed to be an organized strike against the monsters. "Sorry, but I should probably go help them. If you're as good as you say you are, you should probably come too. They could probably use the help." Oliver said, and ran over to Joshua, "Any way I can help?" he asked the boy. He looked pretty young, but he seemed to be calling the shots for some reason. [Oh well, fine by me.] he thought.

The distinctive click of a slide being pulled and let go answered Edgar.

"You'll be fine." She said softly. "We got you."

Sora's twin pistols seemed a bit too menacing for such a delicate looking girl, and the cat ears most wouldnprobably find ridiculous. "let's hope his plan works." She said, refering to Joshua.

Happy of the fact his plan was actually acknowledged, but pressured with the fact that it was actually in motion, Joshua didn't seem to do much but wait now. He was mostly certain it would work-- these creatures had the mindset of animals. At the same time, he was worried, struck with doubt and only hopeful that it would work. Edgar had decided to be the bait. Having people agree to cover him, Joshua looked at him, hopefully as well. "...Uh...don't worry...even if it doesn't work...I- I think I can heal you...." He assured, or at least tried to, nervously stammering and slumping his shoulders down a bit fearfully. He then shook his head to Oliver, "...I don't think so...just...covering Edgar, or helping him...but...you don't have to...."

Oliver smiled, something he hadn't done since his uncle's death. It felt good to help people. "I'm Oliver, and you're welcome." "N-Nice too meet you Oliver!" Kurami exclaimed, following him to Joshua. "We can help you however you would like us too." She said to the little boy. (Kill me)

Quint fired off another arrow. "Well, in any case, get out here soon. I'll probably run out of arrows eventually, and there definitely will not be an end to these wolves before then." He said into the phone. It was true. As much as he'd love it, he didn't have infinite arrows. The archer swiftly aimed and fired again, attempting to clear the area around the gates, making it easier for the bait to get out.

"Fine" Edgar replied to the archer and the cat-ear girl. He ran in front of the wolf monsters, dashing between two of them, however one of them scratched him. "nrrg... Is this all what you got!?" he shouted as his fist hit on the wolf´s face! launching it a few meters away. "C´mon I´m here! come and get me!!" Edgar shouted again, gaining the monsters´s attention. [please... I hope this will work ] he thought as he pulled out his sword. 

Kagi waited silently for his part of the plan to come, fighting the beasts all the while. Edgar had just run into the fray, bringing the creatures all in one area, reasy to be frozen, "Unless you want to be frozen to the ground, I suggest you get outta there!" Kagi called to Edgar.

 

Kagi began focusing on the cold feeling in his body, since this is what he did last time to make his powers work, this time channeling it through his halberd. With two hands, he gave a mighty swing of his weapon, sending an icy white wave rolling over the ground, whatever creatures weren't completely frozen over had their legs amd torso frozen to the ground

The moment the ice set Sora opened fire, her wind-assisted bullets flung into the mass of wolves. Using the wind herself, she actually maneuvered the bullets into their targets, drilling a good number between their eyes with almost cold precision...but she slumped to her knees, panting. It had drained her, and so she relaxed, leaving the rest to Quint and his arrows.

Quint zeroed in on the wolves as the ice froze them all to the ground. He released, and sent an arrow flying, puncturing the monster through it's heart precisely. Quint continued, drawing and firing again before the previous arrow had even reached it's target. Soon enough, Quint realized that he wasn't even reaching back for his arrows any longer. They were levitating themselves to his bow, where he fired them. Odd, but he would have a chance to question it later. Finally, the last arrow struck the last wolf, ending it's miserable life. Quint collapsed against the wall, and brought his phone back up to his ear. "It's done."

Edgar listened to the ice-guy, avoiding the hit of the ice blast, soon the wolves turned to ice which was destroyed by the weapons of the cat-ear girl and the arrow boy. Finally the things calmed down a little... for now. "phew... That was a close one." Edgar said as he walked back to the group, "We should get inside, before something else come at here" he said...however things changed when a shadow appeared in the near forest, it wasn´t a monster it was more like a human. Pale skin, brown hair, around his 40´s. It was hurt like, with a beige jacket with many scratch. The lone man walking at them only could say two words : "h..help... me" before passing out.

"In this dusk lies eternal despair and doom. Soon enough this world will reach it´s end, alongside those who cling to life."

A voice exclaimed in a far far away distance... a distance where no one could heard. 

"This is the time, that the chosen ones will awake, and ascends to heavens... in order to save or doom the world. But that time has yet to come." 

As his words ended, another voice could be heard in the same place.

"That´s why you summoned me here, right?"

"Yes. It´s time to test the chosen by the planet. Call the other two as well. The last days of Earth has begun!"

"As you wish"

(And this is where things began to take a point of no return. For now introuce yourself with the other characters if you don´t know them, also Cloaked and Neko, I´ll summon your two villains in my next post so be on guard. After everyone introduce, the chapter will end.)
