It was either that or my firetrucking neighbors playing their loud music that makes the living room vibrate.

I'm nowhere near where it occurred, so I didn't really feel anything.

I've never really experienced one, and I'm not sure if I'm in an area where it doesn't tend to occur, but I guess I would have a reaction similar to the time an airplane crashed into an office building a few blocks away from my house, which was kind of a "o_o;;" face mixed with a "D8!!" face. --- I just failed at explaining myself.

I did not feel anything.

But if I did I would've reacted like:

"OHSHI--WE'REALLGONNADIE D8" then I would run.

A 5.5 is nothing here in California

odd when i felt it i was like wtf is this my whole house was shanking i thought my house was falling apart then i relize it was earthquake after 30 seconds

  • 1 month later...

Nah, I didn't feel that one, but when I was five or six when I woke up in the morning my mom told me I slept through all of the aftershocks. xD It wasn't too bad, though--my dad and brother didn't wake up, either.

I'm surprised it didn't do much damage. That's a very low risk area for earthquakes, so there won't be as many safety standards like in California, Japan, etc. where Earthquakes of that size are very common.

Did the earth move for you too? *SHOT*

In times like this I'm glad I live in a place that doesn't get any earthquakes!

but there was one just back in june in sweden

I did not feel it ..

can't be such a big one then
