Heroes of Excalibur: Honors Age (RP)

Posted

Okay guys lets start!

In the beginning of time in the world of Ariena

There was a legend of a battle between a great warrior in the heavens

and a great darkness.

Wielding the holy blade Excalibur..

The warrior defeated the darkness

and scattered its body into 7 different orbs of darkness in Ariena

The great warrior also scattered 7 pieces of the Excalibur into the world of Ariena

In case the darkness should rise again.

A great rip was opened in the sky of Ariena

What seemed like monsters escaped from the sky

This day was known to some as the Darkest Hour

Because many monsters destroyed and killed humans

and set up empires to rule the nations

To others, this day was know as The Great Enlightenment

Because many monsters lived among humans and taught them advanced magical abilties

This brought upon a time between the old ways and newer ways of doing things

Now, 300 years later,

The Dark Ones, or the monsters whose forefathers set up dark empires have and still ruled the nations.

However, while the odds are against the humans and Holy Ones. (The ones who lived peacefully among the humans)

Recently, a piece of the Excalibur has been discovered, but not claimed yet

This could be a big turnover for the humans and Holy Ones.

Soon, the humans and Holy Ones set out on an adventure to retrieve the 7 parts of the Excalibur

And while they are doing that,

In the shadows, some of the Dark Ones are looking for the 7 orbs of darkness

While others are looking to destroy the Excalibur itself.

The tide of this RP is up to you

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

No Godmodding

No killing off someone else's character without their consent

Keep the romance PG15 (You know what I mean lol)

You may only control up to 3 characters

You are only a human in one location. Don't go somewhere whenever something bad happens in that location on the excuse of "I sense something" (Super long rule but it happens smh)

Have Fun!

(If I forgot any other rule, I might sneak it in there)

I'll start.

It's been about 3 months since a piece of Excalibur, specifically the tip of the blade, has been discovered in a far-off portion of the world called Bradun. It hasn't been found or claimed up until now. Many even doubt the omens and signs that point to it's location. Either way, the area was covered in ice and no normal human or "monster" could get there, or so Titus was taught. Titus Sage sat in his seat in Arlolin Magic Academy and sighed. He was late yet again. However, instead of pondering about how late he was, he opened his book to review notes about command magic. He was a general wizard meaning that he could learn all types of magic. He was said to be called one of the best ice magicians in the academy because of his expertise in ice magic. What Titus really aspired to be was in Carmaerd's Honors Magic Academy. That is when magicians from all around the world gather for 4 months, learn advanced magic, and end the 4 months with a tournament. In order to go there, however, he had to pass a castle exam that no one knows about.

As Titus drifted away in his thoughts, he snapped back to reality. He needed to start his adventure fast. That meant that he had to get better in magic. Titus read over his notes once more.

Although Fiore could only save about 6 books he furiously threw down the books and turned his attentention towards the school. (Cause its a school so it must also have a library) and charged towards there. His blade drawn as well as his white coat somewhat fluttered behind him with all its might as it was still buttoned up.

(If the crisis is over fiore is just gonna be really late to the party. And if its still going he is probably gonna screw up. Lets find out!)

(The Orb of Darkness was already taken, so I'm pretty sure it's over now :P But even so, I can have my characters do a bit more than watch Seth and the others ominously)

Joshua drifted his eyes, hesitantly and miserably. It seemed he sort of feared Titus for what he may discover, but envied him at the same time. Titus is...who Joshua had dreamed of being. A skilled mage, enrolled into countless programs—becoming a Wizard, and...maybe more. Ancitif chose not to manifest now of all times...but its essence lingered. "How...fitting of a conversation." it echoed only in Rin's and Suzuki's minds. "To be tied and restrained—perhaps even constricted by a leash. Like a dog...like a slave." Noticing that Ancitif began whispering into others again, Joshua tensed up...somewhat noticeably, but did his best to keep Ancitif from doing any more. Its last current breaths drifted gradually away from Rin And Suzuki "You...will abandon each other...and...more...."

"Destruction has taken its place here. Just as an Orb of Darkness was taken." Morgan and Malebolge loomed now over Fiore. "You're late. And you missed class for good." She and her Dark One snickered. With the location of a single Orb of Darkness known, only a few remained and the summoning of the Malebranche would be trivial. That is...once the orbs are obtained. Regardless, there was plenty of time to spare on a student. "Still going to play the hero? Leave now, if not."

Skilled of a mage, quite truly. His wisdom easily compensates a lack of power...but he has both. Dante's right eye of a watery azure, and left eye of a bloody crimson, both shone brightly, looking out at a distance. (With Arlolin decimated, the Orb of Darkness was surely stolen. And yet...here in Carmaerd, survivors arrive. I sense them all...do they not see that a Dark One lies amongst them?) Dante pondered, intrigued. (This requires investigation. And...) he focused on one of them (...what is perhaps only a one-sided reconciliation.)

Rin and Suzuki imminently looked at each other, hearing the voice.

"Did you hear that?" Rin asked.

Suzuki nodded.

"Weird." she sighed.

"You won't abandon me, will you?" Suzuki asked, worried.

"I don't think so..." she said seriously.

Both of them turned to slowly look at Joshua, Rin basically glaring at him.

"Do you think it was him?" Suzuki whispered.

"He DOES have an odd aura..." Rin said back.

Titus couldn't help but to be interested in what Rin and Suzuki were talking about.

"Hey!" Titus called out inviting himself into the conversation. "What are you guys talking about?" Titus asked the two.

Mr. Nelson kept at a distance. Being a wizard, he could clearly sense the dark aura around Joshua. However, he kept silent and stood a ways back taking in his own surroundings.

Rei came up beside Mr. Nelson.

"My classes weret become a Sorcerer or even a Warlock. Guess with the Dark Ones destroying the Kingdom, my goal of becoming a Sage is screwed." She said. "And here I was preparing to unveil my work with lightning magic." She added ruefully.

"How dare you speak to me as if i were a coward!" Growled Fiore as he rasised his blad and pointed it at Morgan. "I may skip class but that only because i do my own reaserch so if you care about my skipping of class let me just show you my findings." Fiore readied his blade then he ran at Morgan, his open hand crackling with electricity. Mid way towards Morgan he switched his sword to the left hand and then the elctriciity began surging through the blade. Fiore bit his tounge and ignored the sharp pain from the electrical current.

Two more potential friendships ruined. Just acquaintances Rin and Suzuki were as of now...but if anyone could be the friend of someone who has a demonic entity demoralizing them, then there would be much less of a problem. If anyone could be. Joshua turned away from them, as to Rei and Mr. Nelson. And yet, he did follow closely behind them, not speaking at all. Nor was Ancitif, strangely, even if it did already speak to Rei earlier.Morgan watched as Fiore came to her, but did seem a bit surprised when he channeled electricity. She smirked. A red inferno blazed around Morgan, then turning yellow, and green, slowly fading away. Yet still, small flickers of blue shot around every now and then. No fire was apparent, but it was still immensely hot, and the air seemed to blur around her. It blurred like the delusions and mirages one would get from dehydration and a desert's constant heat. The flames were hardly visible until Fiore came nearer. White fire.In the midst of the blur, Malebolge seemed to vanish to the unknown. Morgan still stood, drawing her black blade but muttering under her breath. "...Igira." In mere moments, a streak of the invisible white flame zoomed to Fiore, and exploded in an intense blue combustion.

The hit him directly as he had jumped to the side to dodge them. His body rolled across the ground for a couple of yards, now on fire. His body didnt move for a bit but then it suddered. The coat was thrown off of Fiore and there he stood with only 4 burns visible wearing a sleevless black shirt that clung tightly to him. His black pants were slightly baggy. Fiore's eyes glared at Morgan. "My turn" he said in his now far more vulnerable state. He raised his sword and pointed it upwards. Electricity sparked from the blade downwards, then another, and another. Soon sparks if electricity were stiking everything conducting them. Even Fiore. Then the bolts began nearing Morgan. "Wide spread shock" whispered Fiore.

(Sorry about that guys.. School hit me and I needed to focus.. I'll try to post everyday now)

Mr. Nelson laughed a little. "It's not all so crushed. Rei. There's a University in Lastow for Wizards who wish to become sorcerers. I'm headed there after I drop Titus, Rin, and Suzuki off to the Honors Mage's Academy. So if you would like to travel with me, then you may!" Mr. Nelson said attempting to give Rei hope.

Titus looked at Joshua. His ominous presence never ceased to overpower his conscious no matter how hard he tried to shake it off. "Hey," Titus said grabbing Joshua's attention. "Where are you headed after we all 'split up'?" Titus asked him.

Rei looked up at Nelson.

"Deal."

Before Titus came to him, Joshua listened to everyone's conversations, as he almost always did. Sometimes out of boredom, others out of curiosity, interest, and sometimes also just to see if anyone talks behind his back. He watched them all with envy, knowing he can only heal, and that learning more would be a risk of death. He tensed up again when Titus came to him. Joshua's eyes drifted away, but he wasn't one to be ignorant of others when they talk to him. "...Um...I...." he stammered nervously, just knowing that he felt something within him. "...I d-don't know...." he sighed. "I just...wanted to go home, so...I guess I'll try to find a new one."

After Fiore...sort of exploded, the flames' embers and sparks drifted out as they should. But these stayed. They floated around Fiore, encircling her. Morgan went as far back as the end of the electrical vicinity, but didn't get to avoid it. At the center of the charge, Fiore would take more damage than dealt. Morgan would gird through the pain, but grinned at the same time. "Don't overcharge yourself, child," she muttered, "...Igira." Fiore com busted again, just as last time with nearly invisible flames. Upon close inspection, the area around Morgan blurred, fully prepared to strike again. More embers and sparks floated around Fiore.

((Okay, I'm done. Silver Kuroi isn't responding to my post and I've actually lost interest. Just continue as if my character died during the attack. Good day.))

(It says oath keeper posted all of these... Scary)

Fiore dropped down to one knee, his hand scorched by the electricity and body burned by fire. He dropped the rapier he was wielding. "Im not done yet...his right hand reached over and picked up the rapier. Fiore then looked at Morgan. "It aint over till its over" he said as he slowly began to stand up.

(Same here)

"Alright we've been here enough. Let's get moving!" Mr. Nelson shouted to the others. "Why don't you come to the academy? Once we graduate, which is probably in a year or so, we could search for your home!" Titus said excitingly. He looked at Rin and Suzuki to see if they liked the idea too.

Joshua's eyes seemed to brighten with ardor and joy one moment, then darken with misery in the next. The opportunity to go to the academy was overwhelmingly persuading, but Ancitif's presence was too. Ancitif didn't mind going anywhere, but it could spread. It's...convinced people to kill themselves or others before...how could that kind of thing be in an academy? Ancitif wouldn't let itself, or even Joshua die at any time...but they would be wanted dead. They would be able to show themselves only to other Dark Ones....Trying to make a valid excuse, Joshua stammered. "...Um...I only really know how to heal...I can't actually fight or anything....""It will, however, be over soon." Morgan's voice echoed in the hollow debris of the area. The embers she had floating all exploded at once, sending Fiore back once more. Morgan, nonchalantly, walked in his direction, but Malebolge stood awaiting. Rotten teeth in a wicked grin, cloaked in a ragged guise, and ominous yellow eyes, the Dark One stood silently and inactively. It had mostly ghost-pale skin, but at some places, like his face and forehead (which was also shrouded by a cloak hood's shadow) the pale white would shift into a charred black. In moments, about a dozen of smaller eyes dotted around Fiore, fading into reality slowly.

Fiore had been knocked onto his back from the explosion but soon he slowly began to stand up. He then looked at Morgan with a peircing glare. He growled and with all his remaining strength he pushed off the ground, running at full speed towards Morgan when getting close enough he went to "hug" Morgan. Electricity crackling on both arms. A last ditch effort of his was to take both his foe and himself down.

"You'll discharge before you bring me down," Morgan grunted. Before Fiore came to her, however, Malebolge at last stepped in. Its blade, or perhaps it was its hand, shot and stabbed into Fiore's chest. About a dozen small, bestial Dark Ones raided Fiore like a locust swarm, feeding off to the point of severe blood loss, but not death. Malebolge's rotten grin never went away, its eyes wide and right at Fiore's before dropping him to the ground without much thought. Soon enough, the Dark Ones faded back into their previous existence, aside from Malebolge itself. It went to Morgan's side, and the two looked down at Fiore, almost pitifully. Left alive for the sheer purpose of there being no reason to kill him either. "You've lost, and I come out...unscathed."

Fiore looked up slowly his eyes half open "im gonna make sure this isnt over" he said weakly before pointing one finger at Morgan and letting loose a small bolt that would try to mark her hand with a semi powerful shock. After the bolt was released Fiore went face first into the ground, unconscious.

"That would be awesome!" Rin exclaimed.

Suzuki smiled, nodding to Titus.

They both knew how to fight some, they just need to learn a bit more.

"That's okay. Carmaerd has its own Medical classes you can take!" Mr. Nelson butted in as he began walking towards the great castle. Titus followed after him signalling for the rest to come with. Titus felt something ominous in the distance. It was almost as if the group was being watched. Titus shook it off and kept walking.

Malebolge took the hit for Morgan with amazing diligence and perseverance. Practically unfazed, Malebolge kept its never-ending grin, cracked all of its bones simultaneously somehow, and stood back in place, hunched. The two left Fiore alone and unconscious.Like Mr. Nelson, Joshua seemed to feel an ominous presence looming. He girded through it, as he was always paranoid with Ancitif in him, and also knowing that no Dark One would dare strike him. Not with Ancitif's great power. "...O-okay...." He nodded, agreeing with Mr. Nelson and Titus to attending the school. He remained nervous about it, but a grin shot through his shadow for less than a second.
