i went back and played only the beginning of kingdom hearts 2 so when 2.5 comes out i can see the improvements & when it was time to fight "TWILIGHT THORN" i noticed something really really weird. when the camra shoots to roxasas back just a split second before you see twilight thorn there is somone wearing a "13th order" coat and i thought...WTF IS GOING ON!!! xion wasnt even thought of when kingdom hearts 2 was out can someone please help explain this!!!

We'll it's definitely Roxas. Kingdom Hearts 2 was made before 358/2 and BBS so Xion and Ventus hadn't been conceived by Nomura yet. Plus it's Roxas build not to mention the fact that Roxas' time in Twilight Town during KH2 is spent with the Organization at first trying to get him to remember his time with them. Lastly like others have said, this scene is meant to mirror Sora's experience with his shadow turning into Darkside. And what's Roxas' shadow? The version of himself from the Organization that has been forgotten.

I'm sure Xion had gone back to Sora by that time.

This has been stated here before, but it looks like a redo of Shadow Sora from KH1: the opening mimics KH's with Roxas falling into the Awakening area, so why not redo the fight as well, only with a Nobody to match Roxas?

But then you also see Shadow Roxas at the fountain area in Sunset plaza, and he looked normal, no coat, and this figure is too bulky to be a female based on previous models. It could be Riku, but why? Was riku keeping tabs on Roxas this whole time, even going so far as to enter the false Twilight Town? 

It could also be Diz testing Roxas's worth as a fighter against a being based on himself, using his own essence (I guess) against him. 

I doubt it's Xion: Xion wasn't created before Days, so anything resembling her in older games is just happy accidents. 

I'd say it's Data Roxas, personally: it would fit. Data Roxas in Data Twilight Town... could be possible. 

Or maybe it's just something you're not supposed to figure out.
