Terra's Armor (Lingering Spirit)

So, what do you believe will happen when Xehanort and his cheery procession happen upon Terra's Lingering Spirit?

Personally, I believe there may be some way of reviving through the spirit somehow

I don't think LS plays a role in "reviving" Terra though. Bringing him back would rather get rid of the LS instead and he gets his armor back.

And the ones who have interest in bringing him back in the first place are Sora and Co. and not Xehanort and his happy clone family.

 

On a side note, while the LS battle in KH2FM is non-canon, that doesn't mean LS isn't actually there though, right? Just the battle was not canon, right?

Well, no. The ones who are most likely part of the darknesses are Apprentice Xehanort and Terranort or either one of them. I think you can actually see them as two separate Xehanort incarnations, because the kind of look different and act different as well. Terranort is more violent, loud and agressive, while the amnesiac (?) Apprentice Xehanort is calm and collected. At least I take this from what we've seen of them, which is, in fact, not much. I don't think a "pure" (lol) Terra will be among them. If he is though, I think it will be like with Isa, who most likely became a clone against his will.

I don't have one. I just read it a lot around here, so I assumed it's true. At least I can say that I didn't get this idea of it being non-canon from myself, so I must have read it somewhere. I'm not fixed on it though, feel free to prove that it is canon. But as far as I know after I searched for a source before writing this, it's unknown whether it's canon or not, so I'll go with that I guess.

But Terra is somehow still under Master Xehanort's power. How do we know? MX says it himself in DDD.

MX: "But Sora and another on your list belong to me now."

Mickey's "three lost friends" are clearly Terra, Aqua, and Ventus. Mickey and Riku clearly don't belong to Xehanort, we know where Aqua and Ventus are, and Sora's already been mentioned. To quote Master Yen Sid, "that leaves only Terra." Possibilities include Terra-Xehanort being one of the vessels whose face we never saw, the fact that Xemnas possesses Terra's physical body, and others.

 

The Lingering Will DOES contain part of Terra. It's still at the Keyblade Graveyard. And it's almost definite that the Graveyard is where the showdown of 7 lights and 13 darknesses will take place.

I think Terra's heart & soul will return to the lingering will once Terranort &/or Xemnas is defeated. Then the armor will fall off & Terra will be standing there, revived. Then he can take part in the war & get a taste of the revenge he deserves.
