March 5, 201411 yr Author Dark of the Moon was amazing. Not a fan of a reboot though. It's not a reboot, it is set 4 years after the events of Transformers 3. It's just a whole new human cast, as well as Prime and Bumblebee getting different forms. Also if you look closely Ratchet is being shot on the boat. Transformers 4 Age of Extinction is the start of a new Transformers trilogy.
March 5, 201411 yr Yes, what Lie Ren said, it is not a reboot! And dude, if what your saying about this being a new trilogy is true, I will fanboy and obsess over this to the point of no return! I am now fully psyched for this movie! I've seen all the other three Transformers movies, and this one looks like it'll top them all! And if this being a new trilogy is true, I take dibs on saying that the final film of this new trilogy will have Unicron! I have spoken! And again Lie Ren, thank you for this trailer! Now I'm even more psyche for this film than ever before!

But not to worry, I do believe you. Exactly, new cast. It's like a reboot.... Well dude, Shia LeBouf said he had nothing more to offer for his Sam Witwicky character, so it would have been worse if he was in the movie and gave a crappy performance. Overall, this will be a refreshing change of pace from the perspective of new humans. And at least Peter Cullen is still the voice of Optimus Prime! And he always will be for as long as he lives.
March 5, 201411 yr Well that trailer pretty much answered my question when this takes place. A bit into the future it seems. Almost reminds me of how TF RoTF had Galloway wanting the Autobots leave Earth and then keeping them from fighting, etc, except this is more dark, intense, and somehow shut down the autobots, or at least Optimus Prime while the rest went into hiding. Oh the irony and hypocrisy of the human race. tsk tsk... Yep, looking forwards to this movie. Edited March 5, 201411 yr by OmegaForte
