Posted March 10, 201411 yr Thanks to Disney, Darth Maul is still alive and we may never find out what happens to him before Episode III.
March 10, 201411 yr As long as a TV show doesn't contradict anything from the films or Lucas, it is considered canon. It's not set in stone, but it holds more weight than the novels, video games, etc., but it is inconsequential. It's not like Episode VII is going to reference Ahsoka or the details of The Clone Wars anyway. George Lucas hadn't said anything about it being canon to the movies, though. It might be more important than the other sources, but the movies are still above it. That's why I don't consider it canon. There's different levels of canonI might be wrong (this is off the top of my head) but I think only the movies are G-canon which is the highest, while television shows and video games are C canon?I read it on Wookiepedia I think because the Force Unleashed seemed too OP for me to be true so I checked it

Everything else is below those.

March 10, 201411 yr Watch every episode and then get back to me. I shouldn't have to watch every episode; I watched a few episodes and I didn't like it.
March 10, 201411 yr Author I remember that show being so awesome when it first came out. Of course, I was like fourteen and really into Star Wars then. Shame they cancelled it. It just got better and better. And darker. Episode III dark. Well of course- that's the highest and only form of canon I care aboutNothing beats Liam Neeson and Samuel L. Jackson Liam Neeson voiced Qui-Gon Jinn for The Clone Wars TV series. While Samuel L. Jackson voiced Mace Windu for the movie. This is nothing compared to what they did to Spectacular Spider-Man.Other points aside, this series started with Anakin getting Ahsoka, and it should have ended when he lost her. Everything else wasn't really necessary. Can't wait to check out Star Wars Rebels later this year though. Dave Filoni wanted to end it with the Battle of Coruscant (what occurred right before Episode III) I suppose that's cool, I still prefer the movie canon though. George Lucas created and executive produced it. And all the stories were from him. That's as canon as you can get. I shouldn't have to watch every episode; I watched a few episodes and I didn't like it. It started getting really good in season 3. Everyone who worked on it admitted they really started to get really good in season 3. It got darker and darker with each season.
March 11, 201411 yr I'd say the Kotor series does Star Wars better than anybody else, including George Lucas...except for maybe the original trilogy. They should have had those writers for the show.
