I'm Going To Try Getting Bravely Default! :)

Posted

Hey there everyone, how's it going?  As you all know, I'm a sucker for awesome RPG's, and there's this one RPG in particular that has caught my eye, and it's Square Enix's very own Bravely Default.  I've heard a lot of good things about this game, from the unique combat system to the intriguing story, and well, seeing as how American gamers begged Square to bring the game stateside, I imagine it must be one hell of a game. Anyways, I'm making this topic to ask any Bravely Default members if the game is worth my 40 dollars.  I have 10 saved, so all I need are 30 more dollars and I'm good to go.  And please, do not spoil anything about this game.  Just let me know if the combat and story are worth picking it up.  For one thing I know that the art direction is beautiful and well, it has Square Enix on the cover box, so I know it's a good game.  But still, I want your opinion on the game.  On a scale of 1 to 10, tell me how good the game is and why I should purchase it.  I'll appreciate the answers that you people here give me. :)

I've only played the demo, but I'd give it a 9/10 from that alone. The gameplay's a blast, yet simple at the same time, like the older Final Fantasy games on Nintendo systems. I didn't get to get into the story, but I've heard it's great, and the trailers make it look really interesting. I'd definitely recommend it, although it wouldn't hurt to download the demo to make sure if you like it or not.

From playing the demo, the gameplay is fun, with the Brave-Default system and the skills and whatnot. Like you said, art and animation are good. Music too. As for story, I just managed to get a copy of the game, so I'll get back to you on that (I still have to finish the demo xP)

I don't know if it's good or not but I heard it is so I'll also probably pick it up later this year.

I just picked up my self and the story is so far pretty detailed! I love how Ringabell has the thing for ladies, kind of like Brock from Pokemon LOL.
