Radiant Garden

Keyblade Academy

Indy made his way through the academy halls, glancing around at the rooms he passed by. I was told to meet with a teacher in the Gummi hangar... They said that there would be other students, too. What's so urgent that they'd call a few of us there? Is there something going on in other worlds...? Maybe they even have a mission for us... I've always wanted the opportunity to leave Radiant Garden, anyway... He thought to himself as he moved along, pondering what it is that he was ordered to meet there for.

He eventually reached the room, noticing that it was empty. "Hm... Well, I did try to get here early, anyway." He muttered, leaning against a wall. He appeared calm, but his mind was racing. Will I get to visit other worlds? Who else will I be with? Will I have a chance to see Allitt again...? He drifted into deep thought, not taking notice of his surroundings...

(And yes, the other students all received the orders, too.)

Brooklyn kept running in reverse, eventually catching up to and passing Raidyn. "It's no use! You're too slow!"

Raidyn simply smirked as he increased the flow of lighting in his Flash Dash, zipping towards Brooklyn and then effectively shoving him aside and taking the place he was running in. "I'm afraid not. I'm never slow." Raidyn said, giving himself another taste of energy so that he'd run even faster and faster, easily leaving Brooklyn behind by a few meters in mere seconds.

"But far from clever." Brooklyn started doing the backwards running man through a Void portal which spat him out 20 meters away from Raidyn, and he contenued to keep his pace up.

Raidyn / Toshi

"B-but I... I..." Toshi sputtered out. Her embarrassment, however, was replaced with tense fear as she and the others found themselves face to face with an unknown person in a cloak. Though unknown, she could tell he was dangerous and summoned her Protector. "W-who are you?" She surprisingly asked.

Meanwhile, Raidyn looked back to see how the others were managing when he noticed an unknown figure and some Nobodies coming their way as well. "Whoa. Trouble." Raidyn then stopped in his tracks so he get a better view of what was going on; the cloaked figure was definitely someone he had not seen before. He could be dangerous. Probably should have stopped running... he then thought. Good thing I looked back or else I wouldn't even know he showed up.

"Hey Brooks! Quit playing around, we got an enemy back there!" Raidyn called ahead before dashing back to the others.

(Not gonna have him join juuust yet. I'm waiting on a nice Goku moment. lol)

Gaku continued to dash forward. He noticed Brooklyn and Raidyn were competing against each other for the "Speed Demon" title. 'There's something dangerous ahead of us and all those guys think about is who's gonna be the fastest.' Gaku groaned. Gaku continued to dash until cloaked beings show up from nowhere. He halted to the stop while the others had finally caught up with him. 'Interesting. Looks like we got company. Let's see what's on their minds.' Gaku thought. He attempted to scan them, but all he heard was noisy static. 'What!?' the shocked boy thought. 'I can't get anything. They must have something tampering with their thoughts.' Gaku concluded.

Gaku put his hands in his pockets. He stared at them with no emotion. "Hmph. So you must be the organization. What's the name again? Whatever it is, I don't care, but you do plan on hindering the balance. Therefore, scum like you should be taken care of." Gaku looked at Allitt, and continued. "Screw Scum, you're way much worse than that since you decided to eliminate your teammate. How's that make you feel?"

Annistha sighed as the Indy, Allitt, Raidyn, Toshi, Gaku, & Brooklyn ran off. She hadn't meant that many to go off and Zale was fuming inside their link about wanting to go, being as fast as they were."Just let it go." She muttered under her breath. She fired at a few more nobodies as she tried to figure out who was still here.[Nexus Shift]Zale made another dash, slashing at Dusks as he moved, this time ending up beside Striker."Don't count us out just yet." He said, though sourly.

The Dusks that the other group of students were fighting all noticed Ghost's sudden retreat, and weaved through trees to catch up to the Keyblade wielder. A few stayed behind to continue fighting the rest of the group, but most were in pursuit of Ghost.

[Rikunobody, just thought I should let you know that Striker is nowhere on the ground. He is in the sky watching. Ghost however, is.]

[High above the Training Camp, aboard the gummi ship Overwatch.]

Grumbling quietly to himself on his ingrained sense of 'morality' and 'dedication to the Oath of the Guardian', Instructor Striker watched intently on what his only student Ghost was doing on the ground below thanks to the onboard high-powered optical instruments. Moments earlier, while dicking around on the nearby console, the instructor found a massage function for the pilot seat that he was sitting on and really wanted to try it out, but couldn't given the situation on the ground. He was hoping that it would end quickly and more importantly, hoped that Ghost would no longer need his support.

Meanwhile, on the ground below...

Ghost eyed the dusks that were flying towards him and had a pucker factor of a flat out ten. In a heartbeat, the Sentinel-in-training made a mad dash towards the general direction where the students were running off to. Screaming some profanity on why he had to be the bait for risky operations, it was at this point that he heard his Instructor's voice cackling through the tacpad on his wrist. "Danger close. Standby... Away."

Ghost's eyes widened as he realized what the instructor was doing. "Oh fu-"

Cutting his sentence short was a screeching wail coming from the skies above. The sound was unmistakable for the student: he had heard it before during a training event gone wrong when a group of heartless that was supposed to be target practice started to swarm and overrun the training grounds he was practicing on. In mere milliseconds, he felt the blood within his body chill, the hairs on the back of his neck standing on end as he attempted to save his own life and jumped forward with everything he had.

[sounded like this...]

In what felt like an instant, the student found himself engulfed in the resulting shockwave of the cannon fire impacting the earth nearby and was sent flying uncontrollably away from the blast zone where the pursuing dusks once were. "Why?!?!" he screamed, then hit the ground flat on his chest with earthy debris now raining down on his clean, white hair. Immediately rolling over, the student looked at the impact zone and prayed that there was no sign of the enemy. I swear, if he tries shooting any straggling dusks coming at me right now with that cannon, I will haunt his dreams...

Brooklyn just kept on running. "I've got an idea, don't worry about me." He began to keep his speed up and in fact increase it.

The cloaked figure began to study the students threatening to attack. "... Shut up." A feminine voice commanded Gaku, a tone of anger in her voice. She summoned a group of Sorcerer Nobodies, which surrounded the students.

"Great, more Nobodies." Indy sighed. He dodged a barrage of cubes sent by one of the Sorcerers, but ended up falling directly into another one's attack. He groaned in pain, and glared at the girl. "You don't seem so confident. Scared that you'll have to fight all of us? If you're so afraid that you'll summon minions instead of fighting us head-on, you must be weaker than we thought." He taunted, then dashed towards her. She quickly blocked his attack with her Keyblade, then pushed him back. Another Sorcerer began to attack Indy, making him have to fall back.

Allitt seemed unsure of what to do. As she tried to sort her thoughts, one of the Nobodies suddenly attempted to trap her in a ring of magic cubes. She managed to jump out before they closed in on her, then slashed through the Sorcerer that attacked her. "I really don't want to do this..." She muttered.

The Dusks that were chasing Ghost had all been eliminated by Striker's attack. However, some of the Dusks that remained to fight the other students began to slink to the site of the explosion out of curiosity. They noticed Ghost, and quickly began to weave around him and attack.

Brooklyn, again dropped in out of nowhere, as per his habit, throwing a punch at the hooded person in question at high speed from behind.

Toshi / Raidyn

"Oh no!" Toshi cried as she and the others were attacked by the Nobodies. They all fought valiantly to defend themselves.

All of a sudden, a wave of energy surged around the Nobody horde, causing them to explode into nothingness. Then, Raidyn came into view with a flash of sparks. Noticing Brooklyn on the scene as well, he joined him in attacking the unknown enemy; he dashed towards her next and aimed for a high kick to the neck.

Lucas quickly ran after Indy and the others as they took off. "Hey guys, wait up!" He quickly looked around as he sprinted to catch up with them. "Hey, anyone see Joel?"

(Blaaaaaaarg. Sorry. Busy.)

It's kinda late to say too much, so let's just say that Joel stayed behind with Ghost and the others that didn't run off and fought the Dusks and stuff. Then Striker bombed the place and everyone almost died.

"Well," Joel said while dusting himself off. "That was a bit too close for comfort. I guess we should follow the others and find the mastermind?"

It was then that Joel saw some remaining Dusks. "Or not."

Joel quickly rushed toward the group of Dusks targeting Ghost. "I don't think so!" His Keyblade glowed a dark purple as he jumped in the air. A sphere of condensed Gravity-type magic formed from his Keyblade and began to pull the Dusks up off the ground as it expanded (since I don't think Dusks would be too heavy). Joel lifted his Keyblade higher into the air and swung down on the Dusk-covered Gravity sphere. "Goodbye! Gravity Drop!" The sphere crashed into the ground, crushing all of the Dusks attached to it. And if that wasn't enough...  As he descended, Joel cast Gravity on the Gravity sphere, compounding the force on the Dusks and literally flattening them like pancakes. Soundly defeated, the Dusks disappeared from... non-existence.

He touched down and gave Ghost a thumbs-up. "That takes care of them." Meanwhile, Joel thought, Phew, I'm glad I didn't accidentally pull him into the attack too!

A little annoyed by the female's response, Gaku took his right hand out of his pocket and engulfed it in Ruin and sends three Ruin attacks to the female speaker. 'I may have to resort to my keyblade, but I need to keep a level head, and just study this person's movement.' Gaku thought.

The cloaked girl was surprised by Brooklyn and Raidyn's surprise attacks. She was directly hit by both, and fell to the ground. She grunted, and held her Keyblade up to the air. "Curaga!" She shouted, and was quickly energized. She jumped back, and held her Keyblade towards the group. "Firaga!" A fireball shot from her Keyblade, hitting the ground. A large cloud of smoke formed, and when it subsided, she was gone.

"... Wh-where did she go...?" Allitt finally managed to speak, and looked around curiously.

"A cave, northwest of here." Indy answered, without even thinking. "She's on her way now."

"... How did you know that?" Allitt looked at her brother, puzzled.

"Uh... I don't really know. Just kinda... popped into my head, I guess." He laughed.

Well, that, and the fact a cave near by would be the safest place to go." Brooklyn added in as he landed next to Indy. "Let's move."

Lucas nodded as he heard what Indy said. "Ok then, we should head there ASAP."

Raidyn / Toshi

"Right!" Raidyn and Toshi both said at the same time, following the others.

"I won't be speeding ahead this time. I used up too much juice. Even If I refill right now, It's gonna take a lot out of me," Raidyn added, trying not to look fatigued in front of the others. "So for now, I'll stick with you guys... whew... I'm gonna need an Ether though..." Raidyn finished, pulling out an Ether from his pocket and using it to restore his magical energy.

Watching the show that appeared before him, Gaku coughed from the smoke cloud and was temporary blinded. When the clouds disappeared, the Organization disappeared.

Gaku overheard the conversation. 'Popped into his head? Something's off.' Gaku continued to think about what happened with Indy. 'Come to think of it, that's the similar situation with me and Striker. Someone has the Player Pin, and that person is probably the main reason I couldn't get a blip on the Organization. But to give us a location that easy? I don't like this.' Gaku concluded.

Gaku dropped by Indy and Allitt's position. "Popped into your head huh? That's imprinting at its work. Someone from the Organization has the Player Pin, something that I also have that gives me some of the powers you saw, including Imprinting, locating, and telepathy. Another problem is if one of the organization members has the Pin, I can't locate, or read their thoughts, so basically, they could be luring us to the location, or setting up a trap for us." Gaku went ahead to scan the area of the cave in the Northeast and heard static. "I just checked the cave, and it's static. Basically something's there, but I can't make out who or what it is. We're gonna have to figure that out the hard way." Gaku stated as he ran with the others.

Now, Zion watched it all. With one group chasing and one fighting, she dived down into the Organization fight, twin dual Keyblades out.

"Seriously." her wings flared awesomely, and her musical device began playing some badass battle theme.

"Enough Organization for one day." She threw both keyblades into devastating Faith Raids.

[On World: Land of Dragons. Somewhere other than the Training Camp.]

Ghost continued to cough up soil and dirt that somehow managed to enter his mouth. Amidst the confusion and slight concussion from the recent cannon fire, the Sentinel-in-training managed to spot Joel nearby. The other student was already mopping up the remaining dusks, and he wanted at least some part of the action as he quickly jumped back up onto his feet. Unfortunately, Joel was already done, and Ghost looked at the student with defeat in his eyes. "Well... Might as well try to catch up with the other students."

While jogging towards the group of students in the distance, Ghost couldn't help but start re-capping the incidents that had happened since the assignment started. He sighed heavily as the memories came pouring in: Rei getting fatally wounded under his deployment, his instructor getting involved, and more depressingly, every single other students displaying more competency than him. A student training for the most intensive and toughest title ever asked by anyone. A title whose very duties revolve around the words 'Vigilance. Proficiency. Protect.' He realized that he failed every single one of those values within the very first 'real' confrontation in Twilight Town. All those years secretly training with Instructor Striker... I can't be that bad, right?

Meanwhile, up in the clouds above...

Striker breathed a sigh of relief as the dust cleared on the optics display on the nearby console. "Thank goodness Ghost wasn't hurt. And now..." He swiped his fingers across the glass console several times until he was back at another panel, where it showed some very interesting massage functions for the pilot seat. He tapped a box on the screen that read "Back massage" and was immediately entranced as the seat cushion contacting his back started to vibrate. "How did I not know this before?!" he remarked to himself, relaxing to no avail and sinking into the seat a little more and pulling out another liter of coconut juice from the mini-fridge built-in underneath one of the nearby consoles.

Back below...

Ghost finally reached the group of students who are now plotting their next move and overheard Indy suggesting their next location. The student sighed, lamenting over the idea of having to chase after Raidyn. Imagine his surprise and joy as he then heard the speedy gonzales actually say that he won't be running like a maniac this time around. "Works for me! Lead on, Indy."

Joel caught a little something in Ghost's eyes. Guess he wanted in on the action. Sorry mate, he thought. He let Ghost take the lead as they sped toward the location of the other students.

When they arrived, there was no Organization member, but the others were already planning their next course of action. While it was a bit of a problem that the enemy had escaped, Joel couldn't help but feel relieved. Phew, we haven't missed the main event just yet. All Joel had heard was something about a cave, and the others had already begun to move. "Well, I guess these guys aren't the type to just hang around." Joel sighed and followed the rest of the gang.

Seeing the arrival of Ghost, Joel, and the odd teacher who threw keyblades in the empty land, Gaku decided to be blunt and explain the situation to the newcomers. "I'm not repeating this again so listen up! We came in contact with the organization, fought for a bit, and they disappeared. We had no idea where they went until Indy mentions the location of the Organization out of nowhere due to the powers of the Player Pin which I possess. They are supposedly located in the cave. I believe this is a trap, but so far, it's our only lead, and I can't locate them because they possess the Pin. I can hear static, but it's in the broader region which I can't pinpoint, so we decided to head for the cave for now."

(whoops. I meant Ghost. Fixed.)[Nexus Shift]Following behind Joel, Annistha helped finish off the Dusks Joel trapped in the Gravity spells."Well, that worked." She said, grinning. [Nexus Shift]With Zale's superior speed, he kept up with Ghost and Joel to catch up with the other students. He sniffed the air, trying to catch a scent.

Indy and Allitt chased the others as they went towards the cave, following the trail of the mysterious girl who had vanished. "Hey, Allitt... You were once with them. Do you know who that girl was?" Indy asked, trying to get some conversation going. He could tell Allitt was still tense from the encounter.

"Yeah... I know her." Allitt muttered. "She's the mage of the organization. She'll probably have more Nobodies waiting for us at the cave..." She explained, but didn't give every detail possible.

"Alright... Got it." Indy nodded.

Eventually, the group made it to the entrance of the cave. "Well, looks like I was right. There really is a cave here..." Indy muttered. "So, everyone ready?"

Resting both his gunblade and Keyblade on his shoulders, Zale nodded to Indy's question.

"We're always ready." He said confidently.

~*Inside The Nexus*~

Standing in their own sections of the co-joined Stations of Heart, Zale and Annistha both looked a little sour.

"Does this scream trap to you?" Annistha asked.

"Yep." Zale answered.

"I thought so."

Annistha sighed, then shrugged.

"I guess we just gotta go in and break the trap."

Zale grinned.
