Keyblade Academy

 

Indy made his way through the academy halls, glancing around at the rooms he passed by. I was told to meet with a teacher in the Gummi hangar... They said that there would be other students, too. What's so urgent that they'd call a few of us there? Is there something going on in other worlds...? Maybe they even have a mission for us... I've always wanted the opportunity to leave Radiant Garden, anyway... He thought to himself as he moved along, pondering what it is that he was ordered to meet there for.

 

He eventually reached the room, noticing that it was empty. "Hm... Well, I did try to get here early, anyway." He muttered, leaning against a wall. He appeared calm, but his mind was racing. Will I get to visit other worlds? Who else will I be with? Will I have a chance to see Allitt again...? He drifted into deep thought, not taking notice of his surroundings...

 

(And yes, the other students all received the orders, too.)

Raidyn

 

"Splitting up huh? Well if we're doing that, then I wanna be the leader of one the parties!" Raidyn enthusiastically told the group. He figured he might as well start looking big for the others so they could really get an idea of how good he was. After all, nobody really took him that serious anymore, and whether or not the majority of people around him (sans Toshi, Indy, and maybe some of the other people he talked to) fell into that category, he wanted to prove himself either way.

 

 

Ember had managed to tell Raidyn her name before the ship landed. She skipped off, Somrene following suit slightly behind. They listened to the conversation at hand quietly, before Ember finally found a place to pipe up. "Alright, it's settled! Brooklyn and I will go check out the mansion. Som, whatcha gonna do?" Ember asked her brother, not permitting time for Brooklyn to resist. Her brother shrugged.

"I suppose I'll go over to the train station." He said indifferently.

 

 

"Eh...?" Brooklyn made a slight whimper. "Is this what a friend is supposed to be like?" He asked himself. "I'm not sure how to react to this development..." He thought, song changing again, his mouth moved to the words, and in a very soft mutter he began to sing the tune. "Cut my life into pieces, this is my last resort..."...

Ghost was for the most part speechless as the group of students started talking about splitting into teams and going their separate ways. Convinced that his attempts to keep the group together was futile, he let off a sigh of defeat. "Well, if we're all splitting up then, then I'm going with Rei." He turned to face his girlfriend. "Lead the way then!"

Rei bounced over to Ghost, grabbing his hand.

"To the trains!"

 

And off she was into the Clock Tower without a second thought, grabbing Joel on her way and dragging the poor boys behind her without a care in the world.

 

Joel could barely say a word to the others as Rei whisked him and Ghost off to the Clock Tower. Later guys.... he thought to himself. Stay safe.

He turned to Ghost. "Um, does this kind of stuff tend to happen often?"

Raidyn / Toshi

 

"Well we better not waste any more time then!" Raidyn proclaimed. "Yo Toshi, follow me we're going to the mansion!" Raidyn said speeding off.

 

"W-wait! You run too fast Raidyn!" Toshi cried from behind.

 

"Hey Indy, you're too slow! Come on, step it up! You too Cid!" Raidyn said as he and the barely following Toshi sped right past the others towards the mansion.

Raidyn / Toshi

 

"Have you now?" Raidyn asked. "Well not anymore!" Raidyn then yelled, blowing a raspberry as he darted off at least ten feet ahead of Indy and Toshi in a mere matter of seconds, and if one looked closely, his feet and legs could be seen sparking with tiny yellow traces of electricity.

 

"How is that even possible?" Toshi said out loud. Wait... she thought, examining the electricity. Isn't that... that one technique he was practicing before?

"Heh... I'm really not in the mood, but I'm not the type to turn down a challenge..." Indy chased after Raidyn, trying to keep up with his friend. He quickly caught up to him. "Too slow, you say? I'm already got up to you." He smirked, and picked up his pace.

 

 

Raidyn / Toshi

"Heeeey, guuuuuys! Wait up!" Cid said this as he came speeding towards the group, somehow running backwards. After catching up with them, he said, "Yo. So, where'd Raidyn wind up?" He then bent his body ask the way back so he could see in the direction Toshi and Indy were looking in, all while still maintain maintaining his balance while running. "Oh. He sped ahead. Okay."

As Raidyn was running, he thought to himself: Heh, this speed boost is working great. I knew that if I played around with my Thunder spell enough, I'd be able to use it to enhance myself in some way. And it looks like channeling the Thunder element into my legs to increase my speed hit the nail right on the head.

 

He immediately slid to a stop as soon as he found himself near a big closed gate. Behind the gate was a big mansion, looking very old beyond its years, almost like it was ready to fall apart at the seams.

 

"Looks like I'm here. Good thing too. I almost used up my magic gauge on the... er... what should I call it..." He snapped its fingers. "Ooh I know: the Flash Dash! Yeah that sounds awesome!" Raidyn exclaimed. Luckily no one was around to hear him, or else he would have probably heard the sound of face-palms at the immediate utter of his original Thunder spell ability.

 

"Welp, looks like I'll wait for everybody else," Raidyn said as he put his hands in his pockets and started at the mansion ahead. 

Brooklyn watched as they... raced... To the mansion. "Children, every one of them..." He muttered. His music changed over again to Stereo Hearts by Gym Class Hero's. He kept trotting along at a normal pace, allowing Ember and her brother to keep up with him, they were reaching the mansion slowly but surely, the rap part of the song started up...

Suddenly, Rei stopped. She went slightly rigid, the let go of Joel's hand.

"I sense a disturbance. My Carrot senses are ringling." She said super seriously.

 

Then her hand raised to about chest level, and suddenly...it happened.

 

In a twirling aerial dance of sparkles and rainbows and magic worthy of a Sailor Moon transformation sequence, Rei executed a Flying Awesome Sailor Sparkle Tactical Facepalm, an act Ghost knew all too well, as she enacted it on him on three separate occasions.

 

As the awesomeness faded, she grabbed Joel and Ghost's hands again.

"Off we go!"

She was off again, dragging those two poor bastards behind her.

 

Somewhere, the magical bunny deity Usa-Chan laughs.

 

 

(Rei is my most ridiculous character, and this has been the craziest, zaniest, most ridiculous post I have made in my entire life.)

Ghost merely giggled as he was pathetically dragged like a sad sack of potatoes by his energetic girlfriend, admiring the sizable trench his armored butt was digging as he looked over to Joel. "Um, does this kind of stuff tend to happen often?" the boy asked.

 

"Yup" was Ghosts's only reply as his girlfriend stopped cold in her tracks, leaving her boyfriend to continue digging a shallow trench until the momentum finally gave out and he came to a grinding stop... Literally. "I sense a disturbance. My Carrot senses are ringling." 

 

At that moment, Ghost's tactpad lit up, complete with a little ding as he looked at the screen and saw some golden text against a cool blue background.

Hey! How's my little broski? Anyways, thought I should let you know, since your girlfriend is like a bunny and what not, THERE'S A SALE ON CARROTS at the local marketplace! I'd totally get them for you, but I may have spent all my munny on some uh... exotic entertainment. Anyways, hope I'm not putting the kabosh on your little adventure, but just thought I should let you know! By the way, Zion says hi!"

"He would do that..." Ghost chuckled as he looked over to Rei, who was doing her signature facepalm. "Looks like someone screwed up... Big time."

He looked off into the forrest behind her, and saw Lucas barely catching up as his figure peeked through the trees.

"Off we go!" The bubbly girl exclaimed as she once again dragged him and Joel like a sack of potatoes and started to run. Sorry mate. Gonna have to pick up the pace...

Joel's mind could barely comprehend what Rei just did. And then, just like that, she was off, running along while dragging Joel and Ghost behind her. 

"Well... that just happened." he said. "Any other things I should know about?"

Why'd I have to tag along? Joel thought. I didn't think they would be this crazy! he shouted in his mind.

[Nexus Shift]

Zale shook his head. Was this how he and Annistha acted on the mission that ended with them fused together. He certainly didn't want to find out.

The Nexus twins quietly followed behind the group head for the Train Station. Zale secretly figured the people behind this...light consuming worlds could be using the tower of the old wizard, Yen Sid. Annistha disapproved, but it didn't dampen Zale's opinion. And the people who followed light thought they were infallible.

Rei finally stopped outside the train station. She let go and turned around.

"We have the top of the tower, the inside, and the train yard itself to search. Where first?"

Raidyn / Toshi

 

Toshi finally caught up with Raidyn, but so out of breath that she was still lagging behind even Indy and Cid. She stopped and panted, trying to catch her breath.

 

"Yo, Toshi, you alright? I didn't go too fast for you did I? Heh," Radiyn said, going over to Toshi and putting a hand on her back. Toshi blushed as she immediately took her gaze off the grass below her and looked at Raidyn's smiling face. 

 

"Y-Yes, I'm alright..." she said between breaths. "Just... just warn me next time you do that," she giggled, a small smile etched on her face.

 

Raidyn chuckled. "Right. I keep forgetting people can't match my speed. How silly of me," the blonde haired boy then looked at the gate once more. "Well let's not dilly dally." Raidyn said.

 

The young blonde then summoned his Keyblade, Shockwave, and in a flash of light, he unlocked the big brass lock that held the gate in its locked state. With it now open, he dispersed Shockwave. "Alrighty then, let's keep on trucking," Raidyn said over his shoulder, walking towards the mansion.

 

"Coming!" Toshi said, following Raidyn on his heels.

 

(Flash gave me permission to open the gate, btw.)

Surprised that his armored butt wasn't grounded down to the heavy duty rubber body suit underneath, Ghost giggled as he finally got back on feet and breathed a sigh of relief.

Ghost looked up to the clock-tower and could have sworn he saw something metallic retreating from view. Thinking it was his instructor doing the usual, Ghost smiled at his girlfriend. "Lets try the train yard, then the inside. Save the top of the clock tower for last."

Cid came following after Indy. "Don't worry! I'm sure it's fiiiiine! Maybe! Possibly! Though if one were to fall on you, I wonder how collateral the damage would be..." Cid then gave what sounded kind of like a crazy person-esque laugh. "The suspense of getting in there is killing me!" Cid then rushed ahead into the mansion.

Zale stopped behind Ghost and looked up at the clock tower.

"I agree." Zale said. "If this is an entry point, the rail yards is the most likely focal point."

~* Inside the Nexus*~

"Your not going to tell them why you think people are there?" Annistha asked, crossing her arms.

"They would argue." Zale stated. "Best to keep going then get entangled with opinions."

Annistha a orated her disapproval, but dropped the subject.

~*Exit Nexus*~

[Nexus Shift]

Annistha looked back up the clock town, grinning.

"Maybe if we can't find anything, we can grab some ice cream for the climb up." She said.
