I'm now at the point where we meet Sabin and later on the party gets separated after that raft segment and I'm loving every second of this game so far.

 

Also,this soundtrack right here sealed it for me.Nobou Uematsu if officially my favorite video game composer of all time

Though one thing,if you're gonna play FF6....DON'T PLAY THE PS1 VERSION AT ALL!!!

 

For some reason this version has slowdowns everytime you save the game,the transition to battles is slower than the SNES version by a lot and the possible glitches that you can encounter in the PS1 version are more than the SNES version

 

Just pick the SNES,GBA or the Virtual console version of the game.The only reason I got the PSP version just because of the convenience of having it on my PsP.....I tried the iOSAndroid version from my friend's iOS and it felt so awkward to control and the new sprites are weird and not as appealing to me as the FFIV PsP version sprites

 

I have the Virtual ConsoleGBA and PS1 version of the game currently

 

I'll alternate between FFVI and FFX as of now so it might take sometime for me before I attempt to review VI....I might finish 9 first so I hope you guys are looking forward to that.....assuming I have any degree of well-known to begin with

you can learn meteor at higher rate from an esper you get once you defeat all the 8 dragons.

I've just found Locke in the Phoenix Cave and defeated one of the dragons.

 

 

Poor Locke that scene was sad,he just gave Rachel the magicite,only for her to come back and die shortly after she restored the Phoenix Magicite

+The curse shield, fight 256 battle to "uncurse" it and you get the best shield in the game(And the only way the learn Ultima other than Ragnarok).

Also,despite the fact that Gau's sidequest doesn't give you any item or magicite,I really felt sorry for poor Gau,I mean he just met his father for the first time....only for his father to call him a freakin demon,but Gau took it with a smile and he was happy to at least know that his father is alive

 

Y'know what,I can somewhat relate to Gau here,sure the situation I'm gonna mention is kinda different but still,this is somewhat personal so I'm gonna put it in a spoiler in case someone didn't want to read it.

Sure things ended up fine,he apologized to me and I still love my dad.But it was really painful for me back then as I've felt that I'm being hated by everyone

And for Kefka's tower-put mog in your weakest party so no encounters, and also put shadow in your "middle" party to make it stronger.

At least up to level 45 so when I put Terra,Sabin and Celes in charge of the three teams in Kefka's Tower they'll be powerfull enough to protect the weaker members

you only get a BLUE MAGIC.... so it´s not like you need it at all. So... keep moving and get to KEfka´s tower...

I have only 3 dragons left....I'm yet to find the one in the Cult's Tower and I'll make sure to teach Celes Ultima before reaching Kefka's Tower

 

So far my strongest party members are:Terra,Celes,Sabin and Gau.....as for Gau I forgot the name of the enemy that I can get the healing rage from

THAT DAMN MAGI MASTER!!!!

 

He always....ALWAYS will cast Ultima right when he dies resulting in both me and him dying in the process..which means I got a game over

 

Either I'm gonna grind a bit more,or gonna uncurse the freakin Cursed shie.....oh wait I think I know what should I do

I've finally defeated him without dying with him....I should've casted Life 3 right when the battle started because he'll always kamakazi you with Ultima before it dies and Life 3 will revive the members you've casted it on

The Cult's Tower is a nightmare if you don't have Mog and the Moogle Charm especially since you can only use magic,no save point...and you need every bit of MP you have for the boss and if you ran out of MP....Game Over there is no way you can continue the cult's tower without a ton of Ethers .........The things a single Moogle can save you from ^_^

 

 

Anyway,on to Kefka's Tower
