And hooooly shit this is AWESOME ^_^....like wow I've been surprised,I know I'd like the game when I play it but now I even love it more

 

I'm now at the point where we meet Sabin and later on the party gets separated after that raft segment and I'm loving every second of this game so far.

 

Also,this soundtrack right here sealed it for me.Nobou Uematsu if officially my favorite video game composer of all time

Though one thing,if you're gonna play FF6....DON'T PLAY THE PS1 VERSION AT ALL!!!

 

For some reason this version has slowdowns everytime you save the game,the transition to battles is slower than the SNES version by a lot and the possible glitches that you can encounter in the PS1 version are more than the SNES version

 

Just pick the SNES,GBA or the Virtual console version of the game.The only reason I got the PSP version just because of the convenience of having it on my PsP.....I tried the iOSAndroid version from my friend's iOS and it felt so awkward to control and the new sprites are weird and not as appealing to me as the FFIV PsP version sprites

 

I have the Virtual ConsoleGBA and PS1 version of the game currently

 

I'll alternate between FFVI and FFX as of now so it might take sometime for me before I attempt to review VI....I might finish 9 first so I hope you guys are looking forward to that.....assuming I have any degree of well-known to begin with

I got Gau,finished the Opera sequence with Celes,got Setzer's airship,lost Celes in the Magitek factory, got Terra back in my team and learned about her parents,recruited Setzer(the only FF6 character in Kingdom Hearts 2 and I dunno why he's the only one) and got tons of Espers(summons).

 

 

Also,that Opera sequence with Celes was brilliant.I really like Celes's character

I didn't search the town that much as I went straight ahead to the Moogle's nest in the cave thinking Mog will be there,turns out the way you recruit him is actually different

 

But please don't tell me it involves a treasure chest that I should've never opened.

Theres a lock door in a house that Locke has to open. You find a wolf theif trying to steal treasure,follow him to where the frozen esper is, and you are force to choose between Mog, and a item.

You will get your airship back before the second half,  but very little, just one area, so recuit mog when you get the airship.

Also, make a party of 3 before entering that one area.

Well I just got my Airship back and wouldn't ya know it Emperor Gestahl was a liar.......I saw that coming miles away,but I felt sad for poor general Leo.......KEFKA YOU SON OF A B.... I mean SUBMARINER!!!

 

Anyway I'll recruit Mog as soon as I can but I don't know which one to use among those three:Mog,Gau and Relm

 

I heard that Relm will have an amazing magic stats later on when you level her up,but at the same time the dances that Mog can learn are powerful and some are even kinda broken,but there also so many enemies I want to rage grind for Gau in the Veldt

 

 

Which one of those three do you recommend me to use alongside Terra,Edgar and Sabin??

Okay I'll be going with Gau not only  to be different from most people who uses Mog or Relm,but after doing his sidequest involving his asshole dad who threw him in the jungle to live with monsters,I really felt sorry for Gau and he kinda grew on me as I kept playing,I always like to have both Gau and Sabin on my party.

 

I'm currently grinding rage attacks for Gau on the Veldt and I can't help but remember that hilarious scene when I recruited him ^_^
