I'm now at the point where we meet Sabin and later on the party gets separated after that raft segment and I'm loving every second of this game so far.

 

Also,this soundtrack right here sealed it for me.Nobou Uematsu if officially my favorite video game composer of all time

Though one thing,if you're gonna play FF6....DON'T PLAY THE PS1 VERSION AT ALL!!!

 

For some reason this version has slowdowns everytime you save the game,the transition to battles is slower than the SNES version by a lot and the possible glitches that you can encounter in the PS1 version are more than the SNES version

 

Just pick the SNES,GBA or the Virtual console version of the game.The only reason I got the PSP version just because of the convenience of having it on my PsP.....I tried the iOSAndroid version from my friend's iOS and it felt so awkward to control and the new sprites are weird and not as appealing to me as the FFIV PsP version sprites

 

I have the Virtual ConsoleGBA and PS1 version of the game currently

 

I'll alternate between FFVI and FFX as of now so it might take sometime for me before I attempt to review VI....I might finish 9 first so I hope you guys are looking forward to that.....assuming I have any degree of well-known to begin with

Cyan is useless more and more as you prograss in the game, at the point you are in  I was able to do 9999 damage.

I told you to use a guide for the recuiting because things like this, it makes it much more easier.

Anyway, I think that  after you get setzer and an event with him, you can recuit her.

Now you can recuit almost anyone you want(some requiers a character in your party to recuit), including terra.

Gau is really easy to find, just go to the Veldt and do some battles  untill he joins(same as he joins you after he used leap)

Locke is also good to recuit, simpaly because of the items you'll get.

The Phoenix Cave is located on the northern penninsula of the southerncontinent (the one with Albrook and Tzen). Fly high in the air and you'll see asmall green spot in the middle of the mountain range. Land there and you'llenter the Phoenix Cave.

After you recuit Locke, you can get the most powerfull esper(or weapon, but the esper is  a lot better, also, if you play the advance version, you can get the weapon later) and the most powerfull shield(though it will take you many battle with it)
