Resistance: Fall of Man multiplayer servers will be taken offline on Tuesday, April 8. Consider this a friendly reminder.

 

Previously set to go offline March 28, a stay of execution for the trilogy seems to have been implemented to give people more time with the shooter.

Insomniac employees hopped online to play with gamers on April 3, and like Destructiod states, they’ll likely come back for one last hurrah.

Also, be sure to spend some time playing Gran Turismo 5, as its online functionality will be severed come May 20.

If you're a fan of Gran Turismo and Resistence be sure to get as much as you can from their multiplayer while it's possible

 

I've played the Resistence games before(on my late cousin's Ps3) but I've only enjoyed the single player aspect of them more than the multiplayer

 

 

I don't know if other Ps3 games like White Knight Chronicles would follow suit,but I think it's ok at this point and we had a lot of time to play them so it's safe to say.....it's time to move on....no need for unnecessary anger every time servers shut down....just let us move on

Never really like the multiplayer in RFOM2 (why they would cut story co-op I'll never understand). Only played the others with local multiplayer, too.

 

And unfortuantely, they've already axed WKC, or at least in the first game. My friend doesn't have WKC2, so I never tried.

Fool. Crap, I thought they already closed down.
