Discussion topic and character reference

Note, when you're headed to a place I've more or less pointed you towards, end your post with ... and I'll take it from there, showing you where you've gone. The same applies for mysterious items such as boxes, and buttons you press, etc.

I reserve the right to kill any character at a moment's notice.

You don't know where are you, some of you can barely remember where you came from, but all you can tell now is that there are a group of people you don't know, don't recognize with you in a dark room. The room is circular, and has one exit notable by the bright light.

"Welcome friends." Said an ambient, detached voice. "You have found yourselves within my labyrinth. I've made many close relationships with those who have wandered in, but have grown lonely nevertheless. That's why I brought you. If you wish to return from where you came, seek me, and destroy me. If not, feel free to choose any of the labyrinth's clearings, checkpoints, whatever you'd like to call them, and settle down for an eternity or two. If you're okay with staying here, then you've actually just ruined my fun. So listen to this, find me, and defeat me, and I will leave behind the very item that will take you home, or grant you the omnipotence I possess. Stand up, get acquainted, and find your way around my impenetrable walls. Enjoy yourself, for your life may end at any moment, lest you're intent on taking mine."

One circular room, tinted red held the following: Locket Umora, Leah Mors, Dustin Iedon, Brooklyn Morz, Braxen Hartford, and Edward V. Nemo

A green room was the starting point for Derik Absolon, Allen TempesterSylar, Josh, and Igorum P. Scorpious

And a blue room hosted Shin Kuroma, Kaoru Nanami Shuuya, Silver Kuroi, and Nate Hoffman

Awaken, and make the acquaintance of your allies.

The Green Sage smirked. "You really aren't that intelligent." He said, taking control of the Sylar's stones, using them to take the brunt of Derik's assault. "You got the question's wrong, and are attacking me with natural resources." A thick, thorned vine shot out of the ground and up into the sky, wrapping itself around Sylar's ankle. "You're grounded." He chuckled, pulling down.

"Great joke!" I ran to him with super speed, channeling force field energy to create a mock energy blast... I'll be up close, reaction time for him will be slim to none. "Did you just lean comedy yesterday?" I released the blast. "Eat this!"

Locket gripped her spear and took a fighting stance. She looked at the new player with mostly confusion; she thought that this group were the only people in here. I stand corrected. She thought. She exhaled and gripped the laces of her spear; that was starting to become an unhealthy habit.

Derik was rather fine with what the old man did. "I'd watch out for him, seems to copy other people's abilities, so yeah."Derik informed, using the veil of smoke to vanish. He activated Grey Reign, the most powerful of the three as it was a result of channeling the power of both at the same time fluidly, and it increased speed, he was next to the old man in an instant, flying at an extreme rate, he held the blade of Void's Ene against the old man's throat. "Concede?"

Well, damn. Not only was their guesses wrong....the mermaid turned out to be a fairly hideous being after all. Also, it had decided that he would be the best meal at the time.

"Nope!" Silver shouted, doing a backwards jump as he pulled his weapon from his back. It clicked and swished--forming into a whole new weapon: a crimson scythe. With it, Silver barreled forward while bringing his weapon around.

Silver shouted again, the weapon quickly going for the mermaid's face.

Braxen was a little annoyed that he was wrong, but tried not to dwell on it too much. After all, he was never really good at riddles. On the bright side, they finally had someone to fight. The others were pulling out their weapons, apparently waiting for their opponent to strike first. [At this rate, we're never going to get things done.] Braxen thought, and began generating and throwing spheres of energy about half a foot in diameter at Toshiki Kai.

"I guess I was wrong...tricked." Kaoru muttered.

She looked down at her puppet.

"Mistu, I will have to do this." She muttered.

Kaoru pulled her gun.

"And I have no time to alter perception..." She said seriously.

She fired several shots towards the creatures side.

BLUE

The Blue Beauty giggled. "Sorry, sweetie." She said softly. "But you're wrong!" She lunged off of her rock, tearing out of her own skin, instead, a hideous abomination of the ocean. Out of the costume of a gorgeous mermaid was some kind of giant crocodile, with the head and dorsal fin of a shark. "Something about the ickiest?!" It began a swift crawl toward Silver, its first target.

Ghost's eyes widened as the mermaid not turned creature lunged for Silver, who was right besides him. Well... That escalated quickly. As Silver moved to dodge the attack, Ghost did the exact same, rolling away in the opposite direction as his battle mindset kicked into high gear. Something that ugly REALLY has to go! Weapon restrictions cancelled!

The Keyblade Sentinel recovered flawlessly from the roll, and immediately summoned his keyblade as he held it off to his side. He looked up, and Saw Silver lunging for the enemy while Karou managed to fire off several shots. Realizing that a close-quarters combat weapon wouldn't be so effective against the monster and wishing he had his arrow-rifle, Ghost could only stand defense and watch for the others, thinking that his healing magic would come in handy really soon...

BLUE

"Hm..." That looked effective. Shin muttered, having appeared behind pd Kaoru. The Blue Beauty's grotesque body had stopped moving. "Guess not." Shin disappeared as the corpse squirmed, a black and white striped figure burst out of the skin. It was a giant sea serpent. Lionfish quills lined its upper body. The end of it's tail was some kind of rock, a rockfish, rather. This thing was the three most venomous creatures of the ocean combined into one. It swung it's terrible tail toward Ghost.

GREEN

The Green Sages head was blown clean off of his shoulders. "Ha! Thank you for that!" The old man's voice was different. It wasn't so old. The headless body began to split from the middle, and out emerged a similar being, but of a much younger age. "Hey." He said with a wink, then firing a similar energy blast into Josh's center.

"...okay, I've seen some bad things, but THAT is pretty bad..." Derik muttered, deciding that it might be time for a last-ditch effort, he decided to try and enter the dragon's mouth and find its heart, or whatever was powering it, and destroy it. He waited for his chance, when the maw of the beast was about to open again, and he shot through into its mouth, past it's teeth, and hoped he didn't have to already push himself to the maximum already.

"Well..." I muttered in disappointment. I created a shield to divert some of the energy. "Like the jolly green phenix..." Something clicked in my mind . "Hey... What was the riddles answer again?"

"Well, uh... okay then." Dust looked toward the Red group's foe and then toward the lava around their environment. Then her turned and looked around at the people who had become his temporary powers. All of them... had powers too? He had thought he was the only one, or at least that it was pretty varied. But not only did these people seem to have powers, but rather varied ones at that. In any case, the meet and greet would have to wait. There was an enemy to beat, and he was determined to be of some help.

"Hold up guys, let me lend some support." He yelled to the group as the heat from the lava around him coalesced and formed a large heated and bright mass of energy.

"I'll hold this heat and light if you need it for a weapon or a shield. Now let's move, we better get the first move on this guy."

Red

"Hm." Locket uttered, raising her spear slightly over the ground as she wondered what to do to for an illusion that would help. Making the area look darker wouldn't do much. She shrugged to herself. Throwing her spear could possibly only result in her losing her only weapon. She decided to wait a while and see what happens before she did anything. Who knows, it could be useful.

GREEN

"Too late for that!" The Green Centurion declared, throwing Josh off of his steed.

"I'm not done with you either!"

The wooden warrior pounded his fist against the arbor dragon, and spears of wood began assaulting Derik from all direction, attempting to both impale and trap him.

"I don't care if you ain't or not!" Derik yelled, slashing through the spears of wood, slashing and cleaving them to tiny bits, he was nailed by one, but he took is as an opportunity. He threw Void's End into the roof of the dragon's mouth, ripped the wood spear out of himself, sheathed his other weapon, and began to twirl it, spin it, move it and deflect a large number of spears, when he had a moment to, he dashed up and grabbed his blade from the roof of the dragon and tore forward, but continued to knock spears away. As he shot forward, he tore through the dragon's top half of it's mouth and began to drag it down the beast's throat.

"Would you just stop?" Kaoru asked, still shooting.

She didn't need Shin breathing down her neck every three seconds of her life.

GREEN

Sylar sliced through the vine that tried to grab him with his telekinesis. He smiled slightly. It was true, this foe had control over nature, rendering most of the attacks using his telekinesis irrelevant. So instead, he was inspired. He lifted up a few new rocks. He took his time, carving away each of the rocks using his only permanent ability until they resembled a blade, and each had lots of decorative engravings carved into them. He smiled at this idea. Now these blades were manmade, no longer technically part of nature, rather reclaimed by man. He grasped two of the short swords, and dove down towards the Green Centurion. He switched into Demon Reign as soon as he reached the ground, and flew into a flurry of attacks. Sylar struck with the two blades in his hands, using Demon Reign to increase his strength as the other blades he had carved flew around him, slicing relentlessly at the foe at hand.

[sorry for taking so long to post. I've been swamped with HW and school recently.]

Lionfish? Survey says... Ok, that's just unfair...

Ghost was prepared for any attempt for an attack as he assumed a brace position and saw the tail lashing out towards him. His grip on the keyblade tightened, and the next thing he knew, the violent blow of the tail making contact with his trusted weapon reverberated throughout his body as he struggled to stand his ground. Unfortunately for the vigilant sentinel, he blocked the tail at the mid-point, leaving the tip to arch around freely as the lethal tip impacted his side, then slid off the sloped metal plate of the hard armor before finding the soft, flexible joint that spanned between two plates.

Ghost let off a pained yelp as the spike practically impaled him on the side, then shook off all thoughts for the moment as he immediately went for a retaliatory strike. In one smooth motion, Ghost maneuvered his keyblade in an over-arch as he attempted to viciously chop off the tail in a manner akin to an ax-man chopping up firewood. He hoped the weapon would connect as he started to feel a little weak, with the condition only worsening with every heartbeat that was now echoing in his head. Stay calm. Just stay calm. Panicking will only make my heart beat faster, and that's something I don't really need right now.
