How is it that he pulls off a great voice for Saix/Isa yet he makes a TERRIBLE voice for Shadow? I mean, you'd think that he make an awesome Shadow since David Humphrey (the very first VA for Shadow). But surprisingly, he makes a terrible Shadow. I mean heck, I've seen better Shadow impressions from Shadow759 and he sounds the CLOSEST thing to David Humphrey's voice of Shadow from SA2. I mean just look at this one line. This ONE line that EVERYONE went completely nuts over for Thorton's voice of Shadow.
That ONE line alone made everybody hate Thorton's voice of Shadow. Plus, his lines from Sonic Free Riders really made a Shadow sound more emo than usual. All this really makes me wish that they didn't get rid of David Humphrey to begin with as he is, in my opinion, the true Shadow the Hedgehog. He just gave Shadow so much personality and didn't make Shadow sound emo at all compared to Griffith and Thorton. Oooooh no it was the opposite. In SA2 he was just upset and mad that Maria died and wanted to avenge her. And at times he was pretty cocky about beating Sonic. We'll never hear Shadow say "I'm the coolest" again. That line alone shows off Shadow's personality. I know I'm complaining about Thorton's VA as Shadow but I just wanted to post my opinion on this.
