Are the names for Super Smash Bros 4 the final names for them or will they change?

Posted

It's been awhile since they first announced the game and a few days since the Super Smash Direct and they still call the games Super Smash Bros for 3DS and Wii U but are the names final? Sakurai didn't say anything on Miiverse or during the Direct about the name but I hope they change it. Nobody wants to say those long names. Have it named Super Smash Bros Collide or Super Smash Bros Clash.

When Brawl came out my firends said it would be SSB Scuffle.

I believe it was confirmed a while back that these were the definitive names .

Well, I don't have a problem with the names, although I agree that a more creative name would have been better.  But, the character roster so far has made me feel relaxed, and so the name doesn't really concern me, I'll just name it SSB4. xD  And I thank God Sakurai decided to make this game for both Wii U and 3DS, since I don't have the Wii U!  That means I get to play the 3DS version when it comes out on August!  Woohoo! :D

By this point, it's definitely the final names. However, I'm expecting both versions to say Super Smash Bros. on the cases.

yes those are there names, but call the 3ds ver SSB4 3D and wiiu ver SSB4U sample and quick :3 thats what i'm doing anyways.

What's funny is that having only "SSB" makes it the same title as the N64 version. lol
