Will Benjamin Diskin be voicing Young Xehanort?

Posted

If some of you don't know, David Gallagher voice Young Master Xehanort of BBS but with 2.5 coming out soon, I was thinking that Square might call in Benjamin Diskin from 3D to do his line OR Square will take his line from 3D and just replace Gallagher's voice with Diskin.

Wait, what?  Gallagher voiced Young Xehanort in the beginning of BBS? :O  Mind, blown!  And well, I don't think that they'll put Ben's voice, because the only line said by YX in BBS is: This world, is just too small.  Nothing more, nothing less, that I remember of anyway. :P

Pretty sure they won't since this is just a straight out port of BBSFM. It's not like they're remaking the game or anything.

It's always a possibility, but I suspect it is unlikely.  The scene is very brief, and I honestly think David did a good job with it when comparing him to Benjamin.  Sure, the difference is noticeable, but I think it is satisfactory.  Also, there is the fact that scenes in KH1.5 (specifically Final Mix) could have been dubbed without any VA aging issues.  Well, maybe only the scene with Xemnas, but nevertheless, it's just something they didn't do, and it doesn't really bother me.  In my opinion, it's a very minor thing that I doubt would be considered a crucial change, though it's still something they could do.  I don't expect it.

Well for the Days cutscene, they replaced the original Mickey VA with the new VA

Nope, I'm voicing him from here on out

I accept this new reality.

Nope. Mickey's new VA's first actual work as Mickey Mouse was Days. The last performance for Wayne Allwine who voiced him in the other KH games was in Re:CoM.

Well I also said that they could port the audio from 3D into BBS

Really? I heard it was Days. Oh well.

I thought that KH 358/2 Days was his last performance as Mickey, not the first of the new VA. Wayne Allwine died on May 18 2009, he should had been able to finish recording Mickey's line for KH 358/2 Days, and the majority of sites, cite his two last jobs as a episode of Mickey's Clubhouse, and KH 358/2 Days.

Actually, yeah. I take that back. Sorry, nvm.
