The Nintendo DS remake of FINAL FANTASY III has been released on iOS, PSP, Android and Windows Phone. It is also available on the Amazon Appstore and Ouya.

 

I wasn't expecting them to release this on PC so soon and I was expecting a PC version of FINAL FANTASY IX first but oh well. I believe FINAL FANTASY I-IX should all be available on PC.

Great! Now for FFIV DS. Then Console/PC remakes of V and VI would be cool too, though I wouldn't want them to start that until after KHIII and FFXV come out when I'm 30.

FFIV DS?DS games aren't really even made anymore, and people are more interestsed in 3DSes.Why would they make a game that they would barely profit on?

I'd personally rather see a remake with new stuff added instead of yet another port of the DS version... Passing on this one. Tell me when we get a real remake of VI on a console or 3DS, then I'll be interested.

Why would you want another remake for III? That would just take up valuable time they could use on remakes for V and VI. Maybe even I & II if they want.

I didn't say I want another one, I just said that I don't give a crap about another port of the DS one, and if they're making something new, I would just prefer for them to add some sort of new content in it. I wouldn't have bought it either way, but having so many ports of a version that came out years ago is really kind of dumb.

I don't think it's dumb, it's easy money for Square Enix. And having I-IX on as many platforms as possible is a good idea.

I think VII,VIII or IX should be remade for the Wii U to see if a Final Fantasy game should work for the Wii U.

Not going to happen. Remaking those games is going to take awhile, and they wouldn't remake them for a console that would be on it's last legs when they come out.
