200 years ago, the Keyblade and its wielders were hailed as saviors of the worlds, despite the weapons checkered past, which included the destruction of the world we had known. So, our ancestors didn't speak up when wielders of this Keyblade started taking up ruling positions in the worlds. Less then 100 years later, these wielders ruled the known worlds. Since then, we have loved under their heels as they fight and squabble amongst themselves, paying the price of war with our blood. Even in times of 'peace', those of us unchosen by the Keyblade are still considered little better then play things by the Keyblade wielding masters. As yet another war between the Light and Dark wielders, it is time for us to speak and say 'no more.' It is time for those crushed between to rise up retake their destiny. For the Gray in between the light and darkness to judge those who abused their power.

It is time for the Decolor Censura.

 

Censura~ Language of origin: Latin. Meaning: Judgement.

 

The Basics:

It has been 200 years since the events of the Kingdom Hearts series. Since then, Keyblade wielders have grown in power till the rule most of the known worlds in some form or fashion. Those who cannot Wield the Keyblade are treated like 2nd class citizens at best, with several worlds treating them much worse. Dark and Light Keyblade wielders war endlessly with each other, with non-wielders expected to serve as foot soldiers and canon fodder.

There is currently a truce in place, but anyone can see that it is only a matter of time before the war starts up again.

A group calling them selves the Decolor, a shadow group some still call a myth, strike against the Keybladers through assassination, sabotage, and hiding those how speak out against the wielders despotic rule. The two leaders of the Decolor are spoken of like legends, even by some of the Keyblade Masters. They are looking for more willing to fight for freedom. Though the Decolor lacks the strength for an open rebellion, it is only a matter of time...

 

~*Rules*~

1) Yuffie Kisaragi is 2nd in command of this little scout troop, so what she says goes.

2) trying to keep the rp in a PG-13 range.

3) While power corrupts, uncorrupted Keyblade Wielders are acceptable, just realize that they will have a bit of a hard time from the other Keyblade Wielders and the Decolor.

4) Thou shalt not kill another player's character, unless that player grants thee permission.

5) Godmodding is prohibited, as it detracts from the fun.

6) There is NO...rule 6.

7) This is the one you were actually looking for, where the sneaky rules maker hides a word you're suppose to put at the bottom of your character sheet to prve you read the rules. The word of today is "Judgement".

10) {New} If any argument over a fight that lasts longer then half a page (10 posts) without an agreement being reached between the players involved, then I will take action to separate the two combatants. Appearance: Medium size and build. Dark tan skin with almost black eyes. White hair done up into a braid that extends to the middle of her back. Wears a Dark Keyblade Student outfit, which looks like Riku's dark mode, but with a unit patch in place of the heartless symbol on the chest.

Alignment: Neutral

Personality: Power hungry, stubborn, lost, lonely, defiant, cranky, and driven.

Bio: An orphan off the streets of Hollow Bastion, Zandra learned quickly that the only one she could possibly trust was herself. She fought to survive everyday, doing whatever it took to see a new day. Like many people living on the streets, she dreamed of one day receiving a Keyblade and leaving the streets behind. Her chance came when a Keyblade Commander of the infamous Warlock Division saw her defending herself from a street gang, using her natural talent with Darkness. With no one to sacrifice to prove her loyalty, Zandra was given a Keyblade Copy till she could earn a real one. She, along with other neophytes, camped in the old Castle in Hollow Bastion, hoping for the dark power of the place to rub off on them. Now, with her only hope for a better future gone, shattered like her Keyblade Copy, Zandra must find a new future.

Bio: A young man from a village far away at the edge of the known worlds. The village was small, as a youth, learned to accept the keyblade as their masters. Not such a difficult thing for a child to understand, especially since it didn't make a big difference to those far from the hub of activity. But when a drunk young officer of the light came to the village and started destroying things because a proud man refused to kiss his boot, things changed. Milo grew angry, and though still a young child, rushed at the keybladers. He struck them, but without a weapon. They merely kicked Milo away, and were about to kill him, but he produced a keyblade to block the killing blow. So they took him away from his burning home, to a keyblade academy. He excelled at combat training, but he was lazy in his schoolwork. He didn't want to go on. There was no point. Nothing was left. He is currently a young captain in the ranks of the Light.

Bio: A girl who led a simple and humble life. Her brother became a keyblade Wielder and joined the Darkness in hopes to bring glory to his name, and protect his own family from the cruelties of the Regime. She and the rest of her family supported him in this endeavor. So off he went. Two years later, Azalea came home from school one day to find blood on the floor. Upon closer examination, she found her brother, standing over the bodies of their parents, holding a keyblade. Immediately, he lashed out at her. She barely dodged the attack, but could see a new wildness in his eyes, a sense of destructiveness he did not have before. She barely had time to react before he struck her. Left almost defenseless before her brother's blade turned against her, Azalea held her hand out in a helpless gesture to block gpthe attack. Ice shot out from her fingertips, and froze him solid. Azalea ran, and turned her grief and fear into cheer, putting on a happy face for all to see, and joined the Decolor.

The mayor said someone had left her on his steps wrapped in a star printed quilt. Then the blizzard blew the windows open and put out the candles that lit the room. A ball of light rose from her hands, when she tried to touch it and it turned to be solid. The mayor told her she had no place among people and sent her to the forest. An elderly woman took her into her cottage and asked her what her name was. She only thing she remembered about her name was C-O-R. She spent the next 10 years working for the old woman with only a quilt and a sugar packet from a place called "The Coffeebean".

Bio: A young man from a beaten world. He is descended from a long line of martial arts masters, known only as Chosen Ones. Long ago, they were practically worshipped by the people for their strength and morality. They were the strongest anywhere on the world, and were also the most morally sound. They were the Batmans, the Robin Hoods, defeating evil, and keeping the people safe, but allowing them to be ruled by other governments. When the keyblade presence became strong though, the Chosen Ones tried to fight against them, seeing them as intruders, who wanted only the lives and resources of the world. While the Chosen Ones were strong, they were few, and were eventually beaten into submission. The res of the world followed quickly. Hiroki is the last of the Chosen Ones, trained by the only other one left. As the world is currently ruled by Light, Hiroki left his world to search for a way to end the keyblade presence, and free his people. He is currently traveling with Nikolai.

Weapons/Abilities: A bowstaff, unparalleled in martial arts. A flintlock pistol. Can use his chi for various things, like strengthening his attacks/defenses, or as a projectile.

Bio: A prince from a beaten world. He is royalty, that should be ruling the world, but the keyblade presence destroyed the royal army long ago. As royalty, even royalty that does not rule, he's been raised and groomed for politics, battle, and crowd-pleasing. He recognized the strife of his people when he was young, and thought it wasn't right. When he asked his father, the "King" about it, he only got screamed at. So Nikolai found out himself. He realized that the Darkness is really what rules the world, and it is crushing the people. Finding this quite problematic and miserable, Prince Nikolai did his training and studies with a newfound passion. But when his father found out about his goal, he disapproved loudly. So Nikolai ran. He is currently traveling with Hiroki.

Weapons/Abilities: A saber, unparalleled in swordplay. A flintlock pistol. Is skilled in thunder magic.

I'm putting a few characters I thought up in my absence before posting. Here we go.

 

Name: Alba Auturnis

Age: 16

Personality: shy, timid, fearful, peaceful, only find confidence when dancing

Bio: A young girl from Port Royal who has shown skill in dancing from an early age. Dancing has been her sole joy and passion. Her father was a sailor, but died at sea when she was 10. Alba and her mother lived on, trying to make a living off her mother's meager earnings, and whatever she could take in dancing. They lived like this for four years, before Alba's mother took ill, and perished. Alba tried to continue dancing and live off that skill, but was spotted some local keybladers. She was taken in to the Light embassy as a minor living alone. As opposed to letting her live peacefully like in an orphanage until she could support herself, they forced her to dance. All night, every night. And now she is sick of it.

Weapons: Magical dances (think the dancer class from ff) and two daggers.

 

Name: Takako Chigusa

Age: 16

Appearance: blonde hair with red streaks, worn down, prominent features, thin brown eyes, slim frame. Wears yellow robes with red designs, similar to a martial artist.

Alignment: Good

Personality: Courageous, loyal, brazen, and loud.

Bio: Hiroki was lonely often, and would frequently travel to a nearby village, and watch the people go by. One day, a girl caught him. They became friends swiftly. Though they lived in two different worlds, they visited often, and became the only source of comfort to each other. When Takako found out Hiroki was training to become a Chosen One, she trained herself in combat as well. She tried to insist that she would go with him when he left to go and save the worlds. When Hiroki couldn't shake her, he left in secret. When Takako found out, she was mad. She spent a lot of time, trying to figure out how to get off the world herself, and finally stole a keyblader gummi ship.

Weapons: two light war axes, can manipulate her chi similar to Hiroki

Name: 5th Platoon Leader First Sergeant Charlotte Hartmann

Age: 22
Gender: Female
Alignment: Technically, they're good

Appearance: She's the soldier with light blue eyes and hair.

Personality: Kind, authoritative, cunning, yet sympathetic, Charlotte isn't the one to be easily outspoken given her position of leadership. 
Bio: Charlotte served in the same wars against the darkness with then Field Captain Snider as his head infantry platoon leader . She, along with her sister Victoria, served directly under Jacob's direct command, and together the trio accomplished feats that were considered impossible during the war, and in a way saved the rejected keyblade officer's life. She was ruthlessly efficient in combat, and her command execution of tasks were notable in that 'the way she commanded her troops were made in a way to optimize success while mitigating losses.' Charlotte quickly grew fond of Jacob thanks to their similar mindset of protecting as many soldiers as their rank would allow. After the war, after earning several promotions, she continued her service with the military just because her commander does. Their friendship forged through the fires of war, Charlotte is more than willing to give up her own life to save Jacob, and she knows he would do the same for her.
Weapons: Standard issue Arrow-Rifle AR-34A3 with under-mount "Arrow-Storm" modification. Also has a laser designation tool built into the scope.

 

Name: 7th Platoon Leader Master Sergeant Victoria Hartmann

Age: 22
Gender: Female
Alignment: Technically, they're good

Appearance: She's the soldier with black hair and grey eyes.

Personality: Cool, distant, strategic, authoritative, and focused, Victoria is always at odds with Jacob Snider. 
Bio: Victoria served in the same wars against the darkness with then Field Captain Snider as his head Artillery Regiment Leader . She served directly under Jacob's direct command, and more often than not she would find herself fighting alongside the officer and her sister, Charlotte. Despite being in the artillery, she was ruthlessly efficient in close combat, and an even more ruthless leader. Her history with then Field Captain Snider were strained at best, brutal at the worst, and their relationship during their service was best described as "yin and yang." On one hand, she admires the values and beliefs of her superior officer, but at the same time, she wouldn't hesitate of get rid of him either, knowing that 'softies like him don't last long in the military.' There were multiple 'incidents' throughout the war where she very nearly killed Jacob, with the most notable being at the Battle of the Dragons on the World of Dragons...

 

To Victoria's surprise, Jacob actually survived the war, and even more shockingly, remained unchanged. She despise her sister's admiration and possible interest of the commander, but at the same time and in her own way, she too admired the commander. Regardless of how much she hated him, Victoria knows that her sister wouldn't hesitate to be with their commander, and thus, she usually tags along just to make sure her sister comes home safely. The same can be said for Jacob, despite their tedious relationship and history...
Weapons: Standard issued Arrow-Sniper Rifle ASR-35A4 with undermount 'flechette' modification, bipod, and laser designation tool built into the scope.
