Don't get me wrong, I loved Persona 4 The Animation but when Atlus said a huge reveal, I thought it would be a new game to the SMT series or a new Etrian Odyssey, or even news about SMT x Fire Emblem but I'm alright. I'm kinda mixed about Yu's new design. Kazuma Koneko will be doing the character design concept. Koneko also did designs for other characters & demons in the SMT series. Now Yu and everyone else won't have tans. I hope that they will make Yu less comedic and more series in this anime. Also, I wonder how they're going to do the story. I hope they take it more seriously. I know they're going to add Marie and her story but what about during episodes without her? Anyways, I'm going to watch it, hopefully it'll be good if not better than the original. Persona 4 The Golden Animation will come out in July. TheKingdomkid 1,194 Posted May 2, 2014 Well that is interesting I didn't think that's what the surprise special announcement was going to be but I'm excited for it just to see how much different it will be from the original anime. It's kinda like with FullMetal Alchemist how they had two anime's oh well I hope they dub it like they did with the first one and can't wait to see how it goes (still waiting on the Persona 3 movie dubs as well...) I saw people complain about the first adaptation about how "It was rushed" and "Kanji was treated like a joke" Hopefully this one will address those issues, It's guaranteed to have more episodes because of the new events so I really hope they focus in more on social links. Like you know the summer break episodes that jammed like 5-6 S-Links into two episodes? it would be nice to give each Social Link it's own episode. And of course, to see the the party get their third Personae, (Maybe have them evolve the first time when fighting a certain new boss and have the second upgrade where the first one was?) And this time maybe Yu will join the Soccer and Drama clubs, since he joined the Basketball and Music clubs in the original. And this may be asking a little much but, could Yu get a second upgrade this time? He has Izangi and Izanagi No Ookami, can he get Izanagi no Mikoto? Power Jusho 1,784 Posted May 3, 2014 come on you can't deny that the school trip was pretty good i meant that Yu has to be more serious.i thought he more of a comic relief than a serious character.of course there might be some moments where he can be funny but like certain episodes from the original like when he was wearing the Teddie suit, that's gone too far. I have not seen the anime and I think I would like this very much...I just saw people on Facebook whining about how they are milking it and they are really trying to push Persona 4 and want to put the blame on Sega although Atlus has major control of SMT...And they still played it and still will watch it....Whiny hypocrites.... I like the fact that they are doing this without the tan, it was kinda weird seeing it....This looks like it'll look more like the game....I think it will be a complete overhaul of the anime.
