Zion was thrown off, but managed to power her eings and avoid hitting the ground. She again disappeared, only leaving after images."It crossed my mind. No risks, no way to win. And I've been encased in crystal for two hundred years. No way to study a pompous brat who took over a subpar world." She stopped above the clock tower, and flared her wing out to full length. Her wings glowed, and engaged Dawnguard, encased in a bubble of hexogonal shields with no cracks. "And if you've studied me, then you know I don't lose all because someone takes over worlds." Pff. Taking out those ancient weapons were childs play. She thought back. can hear you. And it's Zion. Not Angel. .

"You will loose, because it's a simple fact that the best of the newest generation of your pathetic janitor-key slinging wielders died at my hand, and with so little as a flick of the wrist." Derik just stood, waiting for this next assault to come. "I can feel the energy from that. As per expected. Go back to the dead, granny. This Is a world where even the normal are able to overcome you." Derik smirked. He could charge up his Big Bang Buster Cannon attack in half the time it would probability take for her to use whatever attack she designed, and vaporize her pathetic little toy weapons instantly, but no point. "I feel it's time for me to have some fun." He yelled, raising a large barrier wall around the two of them. "First one to bleed looses." Derik announced the rule. "I'll let you have five shots at me before I begin to rip each of the individual feathers off of your wings and write my memoirs and your death certificate with them, and then cook you on a spit like the flying chicken you are." Derik cackled. "Say you do make me bleed first, that isn't gonna help you. The moment this is over, the barrier here will convert to energy arena kill some Innocents, and we will play another game. However, if you can't, well, more bystanders to kill."Before this could all start, however, Brooklyn had rolled into the area of the barrier, just out of aisha of Derik, and he threw his keyblade, only for Derik to return it to sender. "So It is you. Mrs. Wynter, I'll distract him as best as I can." Brooklyn yelled to the angel. Derik only started laughing. "A boy who hasn't even been out of the academy yet plans to fight me? Ha! Go home, boy, you've much life to live, unless..." The sound of a loud thud, and the cracking of bone, and squishing. Derik had punched through Brooklyn's abdomine."...you have a stomach for battle..." then a punch to Brooklyn's head, forcing him off of Derik'sighed hand. At that moment, Sandrew had come around to see the blow to the face. "T-The hell?!" He yelled, watching the boy who probably saved him from a beating and let him roam free in the town get deviating hurt. He rushed to the barrier, where he ram right into it. "Oho, little boy wants to play, too?" Derik sounded amused. Brooklyn, with the little strength he had left, muttered "D-don't...", but Derik opened the fired for the boy. "I-I don't want to fight... just let me help him..." Sandrew muttered, but Derik laughed. "You couldn't be much of a healer, if you can heal him, he's not gonna live kid, and now you die, too." Derik smirked. "I-I don't want to do this, I hate doing this..." He muttered. "But if I don't do aomething, he'll kill me!" He thought, summoning his keyblade. "I asked you!" He muttered, gathering his courage, he rushed at Derik. Confident anything the boy could do wouldn't hurt him, he stood there, and waited. When Sandrew was almost up there, Derik prepared to punch a hole in his head and have him done in, too, when he rolled past Derik. Confused, he looked to see him next to Brooklyn, giving all he had to heal Brooklyn to a OK state, he managed to heal the hole, barely, then poured a potion into Brooklyn's mouth, which healed him almost all the way back, though he was passed out, and then Sandrew passed out. "Slightly shocked that I let myself be fooled by that, but they're both nothing compared to me. I'll pick them both off when they're awake and can scream."

[braxen and Penny]

As Penny continued to fire at the enemy soldiers, she noticed Derik and Zion fighting it out, each of them swearing almost as much as Brax did playing poker. At first she didn't want to intervene; just let them go at it while she and Braxen took out the rest of the soldiers. But then she saw Derik knock two keybladers unconscious, and knew she had to help. "Hey Brax, you seeing this?" he asked. "Sure am. Let me guess, you distract while I retrieve?" he partner replied. Penny nodded her head, and the two charged straight towards the unconscious keyblade wielders. Braxen easily scooped them up, one in each arm, and began running away from the plaza. Meanwhile, Penny summoned a wall of flame between them and Derik, so that he couldn't see where Braxen was going with the keybladers. She then slipped back into the thick of the battle, hopefully before Derik could spot her. She'd heard stories about this guy before, and knew he wasn't one to mess with.

Zion waited. She waited.

The moment Derik was still looking at the two boys, she engaged her wings. Aether Wing Mode made ber faster then almost anything, and she flashed at Derik. She threw Eternity's Union and Sunrise Everlasting, split apart Forward Unto Dawn, threw Oathkeeper's Redemption at her foe, then, after the probability of him blocking and dodging done, would block her final Keyblade, Oathkeeper's Dawn.

Of course, there was fourm pieces of history that never made it to the books. Zion's life before the Keyblade was mostly gone, actually. Before the Keyblade, Zion was insignificant. People forgot that not everyone was born with the Keyblade.

And as Derik would most surely block her, she smirked right into his stupid cheesy villain face.

"Studied everything? Too bad some things never made it into the limelight."

Two katanas, one ice white, thenother black as night, sliced down into his arms as twin pistols of the same color skin pressed into his back and fired.

"Those who earn the Keyblade will always prevail over those who are given it."

((Crona, Im totally assuming Derik is so firetrucking godly he can guess Zion will full Keyblade attack, hence me going ahead and saying he blocked it.

But since I never have told anyone about pre Keyblade Zion...>.> ))

(Then how did Sandrew get to Brooklyn?)

(He let Sandrew in, then no one else.)

(Well then.)"Hmph." Derik laughed, the guns having their bullets sent back into the chambers of the gun and the blades sparked wildy upon cutting into them. "Super high alloy steel-graphing-titanium mixture thread that is nearly impenitrable. A coat of such a magnification material is only suit for one of my stature." He muttered, blowing the falcon with dull talons away with his Demon Reign."What is greater than a Keyblade is the power of one's will to defeat all who oppose it, and the ability to preform that action, no matter the power they hold on them." Derik glowed an eerie grey, fog-like aura "I count about niece's or so attacks, so it's my turn." Grey Reign, specifically the more Demon Reign focused version. Dissappearing, he appeared behind Zion, plucked a throwing pick out of his pocket, and stabbed the woman in her shoulder with it, at a deviating force hard enough to cause a small crater below them. "I believe that I've won this one." Derik whispered into the woman's ear. "Next time, we'll play Russian Rulette for some orphan baby's lives. Sounds like fun to me." The barrier exploded, killing a few more people. At least twenty-five wielders on either side, and more on the bystanders side, not to mention wounded. Derik vanished after leaving Zion with something to ponder on. "I barely even batted an eyelash during that fight. Next time, actually try to amuse me." Derik's voice echoed in the area slightly.(Oath..... did you forget Derik's coat...?) Edited by Guest

Hotaru was trying to make sense of he current situation while his partner was shooting Keyblade Wielders of both sides with her rifle,."You're such a stick in the mud you know." Lunaris said. "Have some fun. Go down there and fight.""Sorry Luna, but while I may be part of the Decolor, I do not want any involvement in a fight, not when it is in my home town."Lunaris sighed before making another shoot at some oblivious Keyblade Wielded before he fell down."I thought you wanted to stop the corrupt Masters. You're not having second thoughts, right?" Asked Lunaris.Hotaru was watching the fight on the plaza. There were many strong Wielders and that was one of the reasons he wanted to avoid a conflict. He was comfortable in the distance while Luna was shooting the Wielders."I can't make any sense of our current situation. How about you?" Hotaru asked Luna."Kill the enemy and save the civilians?" Lunaris answered while she caught glimpses of the Ulthor team among the crowd before reasuming her shooting against the Wielders in the crowd in an attempt to help civilians.(I apologize for the small amount of time I can make on my schedule to post something, but I was asked to work overtime and I'm unable to make multiple posts. I will try my best to follow the story, but if I somehow make a mistake please let me know so I can correct it.)

So many posts o.O

[Oh, and something tells me I’m gonna be liking all of Dave’s posts xD]

Meanwhile… Not too far away from the main part of Twilight Town…

Nestled in the nearby mountains of the eternally sleepy town sat Raven Keyblade Glider Base, an active academy and firebase where many keyblade wielders go to be trained in the way of piloting their flying weapons. Standing rather obviously on the militaristic grounds was the ornately decorated keyblade officer’s quarters. But we’ll skip the details on what it looks like, because what really matters is the enlisted barracks that stood in its shadows. Within the slightly stenchy, humid and warm room of the building were a group of soldiers, all sharing a hearty laugh with one another. It is here that we find Commander Snider, snickering along with his fellow brothers-in-arms as one of the first sergeants shared his perspective back in their heyday while trying his damned best not to laugh.

“So-... So, remember when you ordered everyone to build that makeshift barricade at the Battle of Departure? Ok, so everyone was piling assorted furnitures and following orders, and then it was Private-... Private Ryan who, and I kid you not, who came up to the front of the line and threw a box of tampons into the friggin barricade pile!” Snider and the group were holding their sides, with one of the sergeants trying not to spit out his cup of coffee as he covered his mouth. “And when I asked him ‘what the hell?’ the kid was all, ‘The box said ‘100% more absorbent’! I thought we could use that kind of magic against those bullets!’’”

As the group burst into an uncontrollable roar of laughter, the building shook at the same time they all heard a muffled ‘thud’. The joyous atmosphere of the room was suddenly ruined as klaxon alarms echoed the halls, completely drowning out their hearty laughs and reminding them of what they are first and foremost . Quickly wiping away their tears and still having a stupidly wide grin on their faces, the Sergeants and Snider scrambled off their chairs and were making their way to the main door of the building as a stern, authoritative, yet calming female voice started relaying their immediate orders. “Attention,” the voice started, “there has been reports of a battle quickly escalating in Twilight Town.” As the boys cursed under their breaths, Snider calmly took a deep breath and continued listening to the electronic voice. “Reports of magic usage has been confirmed. All Raven KGB personnel are to scramble and respond to this immediate crisis. Situation: Critical. Threat Level: 4. Objective: All personnel are to act as shock troops and assist in the evacuation of civilians. Defensive forces are currently responding to defend the Clock Tower. ETA to Arrival: 15 minutes. Commander Snider has been assigned as handler of this operation.  Repeat: there has been reports of a battle…”

As the group of Sergeants plus Snider burst through the heavy double doors of the barracks, the higher echelon group of men were happy to see that several of the keyblade officers were already in their keyblade gliders and were screaming away from the base towards the town. Off to their flanks, platoons of soldiers were sprinting towards the main gate, having received the same emergency briefing and flawlessly executing their tasks. Seeing that the skies were crowded, Snider decided to take a more humble method of transportation as he summoned his own keyblade and threw it to the ground. In a brilliant white puff of smoke, the weapon had transformed itself into a vehicle that resembled a tron lightcycle, equipped with a saber that was hysterically similar to his keyblade, albeit a lot more thinner and decorative in appearance. Mounting the keycycle, the fatherly commander reached for his tactical communicator and addressed everyone on the same channel in his usual calm voice. “This is Jacob Snider, acting Commander of this crisis. All soldiers, listen up. If the reports are true, do NOT engage anyone actively in combat. We’re on a humanitarian assignment for this. If you’re attacked, weapons free to shoot back, but do not actively seek and destroy. Evacuation of civilians is top priorities. Officers, assist the soldiers on the ground by providing CAS [close air support], act as eyes and ears for everyone else, and point out the clearest passages we can use for a mass evacuation.” After nodding to the Sergeants, he was off and blazing his own trail towards the Town.

It wasn't long before he arrived at the outskirts of town, and when he finally approached the town limits, two scouts were waving at him to come over. Despite his rank, the commander obliged and skidded to a stop in front of the two men. “Sitrep, boys! Whaddaya got?”

“Well sir,” the first scout with a ridiculously large antenna mounted on his backpack started, “remember that glass statue of that chick in the middle of town?”

“Uh… Yeah. All I remember is that the last name had a funny way of spelling ‘Winter.’”

“You’re not gonna believe this but… That glass statue WAS the chick, not some monument."

"..."

"Uh, and now she’s fighting some other people and they’re both tearing up this town with keyblades and magic!”

“Anything else?”

“Not really, sir. Evacuations are underway, and I saw some of Alpha platoon earlier.”

“Reinforcements are on the way. Continue the evacuation efforts, and avoid direct confrontation with these demented SOBs who decide to do battle in an unarmed town.”
“Yes, sir!”

After exchanging salutes, the Commander raced off into the heart of the town and chaos to assist the civilians who were in what was now the most dangerous place to be. I fought my wars, I've seen my fair share. I thought we stopped this madness a long time ago...

(Oh, okay. I'll just get rid of that post I made, then.)

[braxen and Penny]

As Penny continued to fire at the enemy soldiers, she noticed Derik and Zion fighting it out, each of them swearing almost as much as Brax did playing poker. She decided to keep her distance. After all, she'd heard about both of these fighters before, and knew her chances of surviving weren't as good as she'd prefer. As Derik left, he set of a massive explosion that probably would have seriously injured her and Braxen if it wasn't for the ice wall they were standing behind. Once the psychopath vanished, Penny ran over to the two wounded keybladers that went unconscious near the battle before Derik vanished, and gently shook the one who'd been punched in the stomach. "Hey, are you alright? Can you stand?" she asked while pulling out a mega potion.

"Wait, where are you going?" Braxen asked, before jumping over the ice wall and nailing a dark wielder in the face with his fist. One of the stereotypes about keyblade wielders that always annoyed him was that they needed their keyblade and magic to be dangerous, something he'd learned to be far from the truth. As he continued to fight the dark soldiers, he accidentally tripped over one of the bodies. Odd thing was, this wasn't some soldier or civilian, this was a scientist. Not only that, but the only wound on him was small stab wound in the heart. Braxen barely held back a swear, "I hate assassins." he said, and got back to fighting, now much more observant of those around him.

Lyra contented to run through the town, accidentally tackling into the Commander Shepard of our humble RP, she sighed, and stood up after falling down with the man. "Sorry..." she muttered, rubbing her head.

(Yes. And you obviously didnt look at my last post regarding Aether Wing mode. She has armor everywhere but her head and neck and her sings are mechanical armor. Google Aether Wing Kayle for the visual. She has no bare shoulder and also armored. Can you edit? The fight is far from over, since Zion too is in Armor and HAS NO FEATHERS RIGHT NOW.)

Brooklyn groaned in pain. "That sucked worse than finals week..." He muttered. "I can't stand right now, I'm hurt pretty badly still, even with magic. I owe my life to that kid there though. Who knew that such a slacker could heal so well...?" Brooklyn coughed. "Get him to safety, I'll be fine, I can heal on my own now that I have time to use my magic, but he exausted all his energy fixing me up." Brooklyn sighed, beginning to heal his internal organs with Cure, slowly, but surely, the pain ebbed.

(I figured the wings would have to be exposed, to allow effective flight and manuvering, and the whole reason for the line about the hit causing the floor to have a small crater in it was suppose to mean he punctured the armor...)

(Literally her eings became mechanical. That allows her to reach such speeds, due to technological  improvements in Aether Wing mode. Hence no feathers. Didnt you look at the picture I showed? Her wings are no means armored, they change into magitek wings. Smooth ones. Google aether eing kayle, you will see what I mean.)

(I was editing at the moment when I googled it to state that I saw the wings being made into machinery. I hadn't known that at the time, and I had, but it was early when I did to I barely remember what it looked like. I could rip off a part of the metal wing and jam it into the back, if it's fine with you. I doubt it's impossible to repair. ..)

(Two hundred years of power being built up...theres no way she's being so soundly beaten this easily so early.)

(And energy doesn't really help when Derik hits Grey Reign, but oh, well. I'll just have him jab you with a throwing pick or something, is that cool?

(Whatever. Since tmyour determined to curbstomp Zion in her second most powerful level without a single problem, fine. Go ahead, Im at work and dont have the patience, nor do iwant tonderail the rp further)

(Oathkeeper, you got something planned for Zion's friends? I was gonna have my character save them before the barrier dropped)

(Go ahead and tackle them onboard the frigate Yggdrasil, makes it easier on me.)

{Alexi}As Alexi and Severus stepped into the castle gate, they were met by three people in Kwyblade Trainee uniforms."Who are you?" The biggest demanded."Do you see the company badge?" Alexi asked Severus. "Warlock devision. In order to earn those uniforms, they had to prove there devotion by murdering a loved one. Deal with them."The three neophytes, hearing the term 'deal with them', summoned their Keyblades, readying for battle.{The Ulthor & Freyja}Thet gritted her teeth as the fighting escalated. The simple assassin op Alexi had given her had turned ugly fast. She even saw the Keyblader Alexi had let in running around. How had they gotten here?"Tell me you have something, Alph." She hissed into her comm after ducking behind a wall to avoid fire. With Dawn's help, Rho managed to keep the way open to the train station for civilians to make for cover. He hadn't seen many all out battles before, and he saw why Thet and Alexi avoided them. Lots of people were hurt or dying from the crossfire of the fighting, especially between that guy and the lady with wings. A stray shot hit in between Rho and Dawn."We need to get out of here." He told Dawn as the last few people who could move made it through the stations doors. Rho reached out to grab Dawn's hand, but was shoved into her by a fat man in a stereotypical "I'm in hiding" outfit, complete with scarf and hat."Out of my way, peasant!" The fat man bellowed as he ran."Hey!" Rho yelled, then realized who that was."No, I can't let the target get away." He thought, desperately. He tried to get up off of Dawn, but saw Alph in the crowd, giving him a wink. Relaxing that Alph had the target, Rho got up and offered a hand to Dawn.Alph followed after the poorly disguised fat man, smirking slightly."Don't worry, Thet." He said into his comm. "I've got the pig in my sights."

High above the Plaza, the Yggdrasil maintained altitude."Captain Aether, I am detecting fighter class starships closing on this position." Freyja reported dutifully. "Plus, a capital class coming out of hyperspace above the planet. ETA, 4 minutes. If you do not order evac now, I may not be able to hold this position."
