So basically I might be able to go to A-Kon this year and I can invite a couple of friends. One who I'm kind of considering is a girl I like who really likes anime. The other person is a mutual friend so yeah. The only problem is I haven't talked to her in a firetrucking year. Should I ask her or maybe wait next year when I might be her friend again(we aren't enemies now or anything we just haven't spoken to each other in a long time). It also helps that next year I'll have a drivers license and a car. I also don't want to be a firetrucking prick and ask a girl who i like to spend $65 on a ticket. And I certainly wont have enough money by the time A-Kon starts to pay for me and one other person to have tickets and be able to buy stuff for the both of us.

Honestly, it's up to you. either way, you'd have a good time. If you really feel that way (like wanting to pay for everything- for which I applaud you), but you wont have the money till next year then wait till next year to take her and take the time in between to get to know her more. Its really up to you though.

If you haven't talked to her in a year, it might be best to wait. Although, the convention would be a good opportunity to talk again... It would depend on if you think she'd be willing to put down the money for a ticket. If you think she'd be willing to, you might as well try.

Just wait till next year, but until then just work on rekindling the relationship 

Well.. I would probably ask her this year, just in case she'd like to come after all... Of course it's not really that a good idea since you haven't spoken in a year, but were you friends before it? If not, it'd probably be best to wait for next year... and get to know her better. But ifyou were friends, I'd probably just be like: ''hey, we haven't seen each other in a very long time, but...''

But don't ask me. I'm not a relationship expert.
