What We Know About Zelda U So Far

Posted

The Art Style Will Be a Completely New Style

Remember the tech demo from 2011? How about The Wind Waker HD? Yeah, Zelda U isn’t really going to look like either one of those… at least if what Eiji Aonuma said on the matter back on January 23 rd, 2013 still has any weight. He stated, rather plainly, that in experimenting with previous Zelda styles in HD they have come up with a “new style”. We still have no idea what this actually means, but it can presumed to be yet another major art direction change as we have become accustomed to over the years.

Just one of the few things detailed in the link below.

I hope that zeldaU isn't top-down like A Link Between Worlds. I would be very disappointed if that happened.

It won't be, I can assure you that. It's nothing to fret about.

Zelda U is the fan name/placeholder name for the Wii U Zelda title. It's no rumor it'll be on the Wii U.

I am ready for another Twilight Princess.

I wouldn't expect a sequel right now, but it seems likely, though it won't be under the same art style.

We saw preview in pure HD. So it must be WiiU.

It eventually may be Zelda U now everyone thinks it is called this.

We will see at the E3.

We saw a tech demo used to show the Wii U's capabilities. We've yet to see the actual Zelda U, but we know it will look nothing like the tech demo..

Zelda U is called that because we dunno the title yet and we use it to refer to the Zelda title being made for Wii U.

Yeh I got it I just wanted to make sure that it will be WiiU exclusively to lostmemory123.

Just not knowing what art style nintendo is trying to make is getting me really hyped for zeldaU.
