Should I play PKMN Emerald before OR/AS?

im REEEEEAAAAAALLLYYYYYY exited about OR/AS and i was wondering if i should play pokemon emerald before it comes out in celebration or wait and experience hoenn again (becouse ive never played it scince i was like 11) in OR/AS? i want to wait but at the same time i want to play emerald for the nostalgia. what do you think?

Better wait till ORAS if you want a brand new experience.

 When PKMN HG/SS were annonced I went and play PKMN crystal for the first time because I was hype for the remake and I never played PKMN gen 2. And when they annonce new Zelda games,I like to replay the other Zelda games

If I where u I would play Emerald so u can get idea where Hoenn comes from
