Posted May 21, 201411 yr Now usually, females in skimpy outfits don't bug me, but this is Zelda, spinoff or not. Then again, there's Twinrova and Veran (and Telma, eughugh). What do you guys think? Too skimpy for Zelda, or just fine? More scans BTW: You can view the larger images here. http://www.gonintendo.com/s/228738-hyrule-warriors-more-scans
May 21, 201411 yr Well to be fair the Zelda series has it's share of nudity, especially in Twilight Princess so It won't that big of a deal here Anyway,I'm soooooooooooo excited for this game even though I'm not a fan of the Dynasty Warrior games
May 21, 201411 yr Author so does this mean this Impa is the same from SSNo idea, I can't read Japanese. Well to be fair the Zelda series has it's share of nudity, especially in Twilight Princess so It won't that big of a deal hereAnyway,I'm soooooooooooo excited for this game even though I'm not a fan of the Dynasty Warrior gamesStill, that was more of an innocent, natural kind of nudity. This villain is more sexualized. Edited May 21, 201411 yr by itsameluigi1290
May 21, 201411 yr No idea, I can't read Japanese. well one of the pics show SS Impa arkwork Well to be fair the Zelda series has it's share of nudity, especially in Twilight Princess so It won't that big of a deal here Anyway,I'm soooooooooooo excited for this game even though I'm not a fan of the Dynasty Warrior games are u talking about the Great Fariy in TP
May 21, 201411 yr Author well one of the pics show SS Impa arkworkThat's true. I know it IS Impa, I just don't know if it's the SAME Impa. It could be some alternate dimension kind of thing happening.
May 21, 201411 yr well one of the pics show SS Impa arkwork are u talking about the Great Fariy in TP The Great Fairy, and a naked statue for one of the goddesses of creation in Zelda's castle, one appeared when Zelda confronted Zant for the first time, and three connected statues for all three goddesses appears after the credits

May 21, 201411 yr The Great Fairy, and a naked statue for one of the goddesses of creation in Zelda's castle, one appeared when Zelda confronted Zant for the first time, and three connected statues for all three goddesses appears after the credits this is kinda off topic but i heard in mm u can find statues of women licking the triforce
May 21, 201411 yr this is kinda off topic but i heard in mm u can find statues of women licking the triforce Well not licking but they're holding water jars around the triforce....those women btw are the goddesses of creation from OOT....hence why they made them naked
May 21, 201411 yr It doesn't bother me and I don't get why it should bother anyone, that won't change the story or the gameplay.
May 21, 201411 yr Author It doesn't bother me and I don't get why it should bother anyone, that won't change the story or the gameplay. Some parents probably don't want their kids seeing girls like that. Whether it changes the gameplay or story has nothing to do with it.
May 21, 201411 yr Well, Nintendo. You've sold me on the boobies. BRING ON SKIMPY ZELDA. Edited May 21, 201411 yr by Kaweebo
May 21, 201411 yr Some parents probably don't want their kids seeing girls like that. Whether it changes the gameplay or story has nothing to do with it. Hmm,I guess that's true, but as a young adult,I don't really think about that kind of stuff
May 21, 201411 yr Author Hmm,I guess that's true, but as a young adult,I don't really think about that kind of stuff I see. I semi-think about it. I was introduced to porn at 13, partially due to my curiosity. I have little siblings, and I don't want anything like that to ever happen to them. But her outfit doesn't bother me, personally.
May 21, 201411 yr Some parents probably don't want their kids seeing girls like that. Whether it changes the gameplay or story has nothing to do with it. 1Zelda is a series that's mostly for older audience from 13 and above 2THERE WERE ALREADY FULLY NAKED FEMALES IN THE ZELDA SERIES:The great fairy in Twilight Princess and the statues of the three goddesses in Twilight Princess are all naked So really this isn't new for the Zelda series hell what's in Hyrule warrior is very tame compared to the great Fairy and the goddesses of creation

Not sure the statues count since they aren't anatomically correct. I don't really think Shia's "very tame" compared to the Great Fairies. Sure, it may not be much worse than said fairies, but the fairies breasts weren't that big compared to Shia's either (in the N64 version of OoT anyway). I'm not saying this is a turn off to me, but to the parents of children who love LoZ, this could present a problem.

I shouldn't worry about it.Still, statues didn't have nipples. Also, the statues and fairies are rather minor parts of TP. This villainess will be focused on throughout the entire game. (How about the naked female Zoras, especially that certain princess from Ocarina of Time) Though why is this offensive now?I mean honestly in a game like Dynasty Warriors the fights are so chaotic and tons of things happen on screen to the point you can't focus on how a character look or if their boobs jiggle That female character won't be in every single stage and it'll just be in a couple of boss battles and that;s it heck her nipples aren't even visible Also,if you think she's prominent, you gotta see Krystal from Star Fox Adventures on the GameCube then, she barely wear anything, her cleavage is visible and she appears multiple times in the game heck the first 2 or 3 hours of the game you play as her before switching over to Fox for the rest of the game That wasn't a big issue there despite Star Fox being more friendly while Zelda games actually aims for audience that are older than 10 year olds

But when they read partial nudity along with that, and see that this is the main villainess: They're gonna wonder what happened to Zelda. To a parent, it doesn't matter whether the game is a spinoff or not. There are going to be plenty of complaints when this comes out, unfortunately. Nintendo might lose sales. Also, the Zora princess was in an E rated game. Even in the 3D re-release, it was only E10. Plus they made her less naked looking. XDD

XDD 1she won't be on the cover 2It's freakin Dynasty Warriors,it will be rated T regardless if she was on the cover or not.The game is aimed for Teens and above and not for kids 3I don't think the sales loss will be billions of people cuz the game cater to fans of Zelda and Dynasty Warriors not for the young audience And again, other companies did that before Nintendo so why it's a huge deal if Nintendo did it? Didn't people want Nintendo to do games that aren't E-rated? Edited May 22, 201411 yr by Red Tribal

Didn't people want Nintendo to do games that aren't E-rated?1/ Doesn't matter, the back will still say "partial nudity".2/ Parents will read HYRULE Warriors, it will have Link on the cover, and so they'll see it as a Zelda game.3/ I never said billions of people. But parents probably won't be buying this game for their kids, and may not let them play any other later Zelda games (I've experienced this personally). Zelda games are aimed at people of all ages. That's why most of them are rated E to E10. Saying that "Zelda isn't for kids" just isn't true. Why else would Nintendo try to make they're games under T? Even Skyward Sword was rated E10, despite being similar to Twilight Princess.Because Nintendo is well known for being a family friendly company. They've only released one M rated game ever.Maybe, but not parents, usually just Sony or Microsoft fanboys who say Nintendo is kids only.I'm just saying, the Internet's gonna explode with arguments about how "Zelda is mature now" or something. That could end up being pretty bad for younger Zelda fans, due to their parents. I just think it wasn't that good of an idea to make the character really sexualized like they did. And again, it doesn't bother me personally.

Uhh that reminds me of the whole argument about Samus in Smash 4 when literally in almost every 2D metroid game she strips depending on how fast the player finish the game heck in the old games if the player finished it fast enough Samus will appear naked So stripping in previous games isn't sexualizing but a wittle heals that Samus wore before in Brawl and Metroid Zero Mission are now sexualizing?. Back to topic, not every Zelda game is for young audience, and I don't think kids will care about what their parents say if their parents literally and willingly buy them Call of Duty and GTA 5(and I don't need to say how much Nudity GTA 5 has and still kids bought it regardless of parents)
