Possibility of a Captain Planet Movie?

Rabid, unfounded speculation within

 

With all these 80s/90s kinds shows getting big budget live action movie remakes, Transformers, G.I, Joe, Jem and the Holograms, Mighty Morpin' Power Rangers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles etc. I'm wondering if there's a chance that Captain Planet and the Planeteers may get that treatment. 

 

I, for one, would love to see this happen, especially if Captain Planet himself is computer generated

 

So, what do you think? Is this a good Idea? Which Eco-villain should be featured? Who should play what roles (I nominate Halle Berry as Gaea, I know predictable. Beyond that I have no clue)

    Captain Planet? Didn't that die?

    So did many other shows from that era Jem, for instance has had 0 exposure in over 20 years, yet is still getting a movie.
