In the world of Pokemon, there are few trainers who are far above the others in terms of skill. They are known as Pokemon Masters. There are only a handful of trainers who hold this prestigious title, but they’re seen as legends for it. Many of them are given special positions, such as Gym Leaders, Elite Four membership, or even being the Champion of a region. However, despite their status, they rarely interact with each other… Now, someone has decided to invite a group of Pokemon Masters to a special island for the purpose of holding a massive tournament to see just who the best trainer in the world is. Are you up for the challenge?

Rules:

1. All characters must be currently existing Pokemon trainers. You can use a playable character (Red, Gold, etc.), a rival (Green, Wally, etc.) Elite Four member, Gym Leader, Frontier Brain, or a Champion.

2. All Pokemon in your team must initially be all catchable in their own region. Throughout the RP, you will be given opportunities to capture new Pokemon.

3. No swearing or blood.

4. Keep any romance to a PG limit, please.

5. God-modding is strictly forbidden.

6. Don’t get mad if you end up losing a battle. It’s all just a sport, after all. Don’t drag out battles, either. If you’d like to, talk with an opponent beforehand to decide who can win. Feel free to do something like a coin flip or an actual Pokemon battle to decide.

7. This will take place a year after Pokemon X/Y. Please be sure to keep that in mind. Also, in the case of Unovan characters, please go with their B2/W2 selves, since that is more recent. We’ll be going with this for the amount of years between games:

Kanto/Hoenn ->(3 yrs) Johto/Sinnoh->(3 yrs) Unova/Kalos

 

8. I will allow a maximum of three characters per RPer. However, don't push your limits if you feel that you can't do two or three.

Bio: After defeating Steven, the champion of Hoenn, May spent some time working on completing her Pokedex. After a few years, she was invited by a man named Scott to go to the Battle Frontier. Always willing to take on a challenge, she decided to go and try to defeat the Frontier Brains. Eventually, she won all of the Gold symbols. She decided to take a break from battling for a short time, and returned to her home. A few years after that, she was invited to the Masters' Tournament.

Personality: May is fairly cocky, and never backs down from a challenge. This persistence isn't always a good thing, however, as it's gotten her in a number of bad positions. She's also easy to excite.

When he was invited to the tournament, he decided to go in order to test his newly formed bonds with his Pokemon.

 

Personality: Silver is a lone wolf by nature, and somewhat harsh. He doesn't really like being around other people often, aside from Ethan and Lyra. However, he's learned to trust his Pokemon, and has very close bonds with all three of them.

His style is that of a survavalist

But now his search came to a stop as he has been invited to the Pokemon Masters Tournament.

Personality: Nate is quite Relaxed and Calm. He specializes in close quarters combat. He and his pokemon like to fight up close and personal with the opponent in a test of strength. This tactic often throws the opponent off their game as his pokemon are hard to shake off.
