A lot of people complain about her not getting enough time in kh2 to be characterized. 

What kind of personality do you guys think she has??

I still think shes sassy like she was in kh1 except its toned down to a more mature level now.

I still think shes sassy like she was in kh1 except its toned down to a more mature level now. 

Kairi is a mysterious character: we know nothing about her past (except for the world where she's born and her grandmother). She escaped probably from Radiant Garden the day Heartless attacked, but how did she arrived on Destiny Ilands? Why didn't she arrived in the Traverse town? I think someone helped her, but we will discover this in KH3, when Nomura will reveal what happened to Radiant Garden.In KH1 she's a kid and, like the other princesses, she doesn't know anything of what's happening to herself. She rest in Sora's heart until he unlock his heart and give her freedom. We can just understand that she is calm, kind and that's difficult to her to get angry. But she's not stupid: she see before than sora that Riku had something wrong, a little darkness growing inside his heart.In KH2 she's a young woman (she's 15, I know, but in Japanese art ages don't count) and she understand that, if she want to reach her friends, she has to do something. Unfortunately, she's stuck in that world whitout spaceship, so she can just write a message in a bottle. Thanks to Axel, she find the way to start her journey but, again, she's trapped by enemies more strong than her. Kairi has become brave and wise, but she is still not able to defend herself, until the end, when she gets her keyblade. Kairi has Sora's kindness and Riku's wiseness and now she has their strenght. I think she will be the best female character in KH III even if her personality will be pretty similar to Aqua's one (I think...).

This is why I hope they bring back some of the sass she had in the first game!!

A lot of the female characters are kind of the same and don't have that much (personality wise) difference between them!!

Kairi ended up on Destiny Island because Ansem put a spell on her that would guide her to the key bearer  and it brought her to Sora.

Lol I should expound my previous statement yes you are correct Aqua did cast that spell I mispoke. But it was Ansem/Xehanort that sent Kairi away from Radiant Garden and that spell led her to Sora.

Opening the door to the world's heart causes its walls to crumble. These fragments are seen as shooting stars. This explains why these "gummi blocks" can travel freely to other worlds. 

I know the catalyst of the collapse, the appearance of the Heartless. However, it will take time to search out the worlds' doors, and to retrieve each heart.

Furthermore, the doors can be locked using a Keyblade making the heart forever unattainable. I must take action before the wielder of this key appears in this world. 

If the princesses and the Keyblade are connected, they should resonate.

I think we will have a better definition of Kairi's personality in KH3 and that will support her further development and give us a character to really look up to. 

It is true from KH2, we didn't get a real good look at Kairi's personality or development, but we did see she had the fire in her like other Keyblade Wielders, and that she has the potential to become a great Wielder by putting herself on the line for those she cares about. 

Honestly, I think she has a personality similar to Aqua's, but a bit more soft and raw. I think if she has further development, she'll be almost on par with Aqua.

I think she is sassy too, but that part has matured and has grown into a nurturing characteristic. 

I think she will be a soothing character and possibly have a liking to magic based attacks.
