This was the date that was imprinted on the many plasma screens.

in the royals' office....Valeria Inanes the 4th's office.

The Queen of all humanity was sitting in the pitch-black room waiting for the screens to activate in full glow

while clicking her long finger nail against her wine glass

 

"Good afternoon,Your Highness...."One of the screens spoke up

"Good Afternoon"She replied with a wicked grin" Is it everything ready?"

"Yes,Your Highness,the Lottery we planned this whole month shall start in an hour."

"Perfect"The lady's smile grow wider."Please connect me with the event on live stream once it start"

"As you wish.But...Are you sure this is the best to do it?"

She was about to take a sip of her wine when she was asked this question.She raised her eyebrow."We already talked about this.It's better than doing it roughly,don't you think?"

They both wen't quiet"Very well then"The screen spoke back"Till then.Goodbye"

And so,everything went dark again.She was left once again waiting,sighing and enjoying the nothingness of the room.

The commercial played on endless number of billboard screens,5,000 meter below the royal office,though every single region worldwide

But we're going to focus in only one of them.The one our ancestors once called...Tokyo.Or to be more precise the old as time shopping district Shibuya.The streets were overpopulated with people that tried to make an existence no matter how.Their noises of restlessly passing by,talking,shouting and trying to cough out the foggy aura of their lungs were present everywhere.The city was always clouded,and nobody was ever sure whatever these clouds were going to set rain down or choke us.That's why gas masks were common even though you could still walk around without them...if you dare.

As the world passed by,only one individual stood there as his green eyes behind his gas mask were caught by the commercial.Almost emotionless he starred at enormous skyscraper that pierced in the clouds.Leaving him to wonder what was up there.

 

Now,it's time for you to step in this story.

{Rachel}

Pain was the thing that woke Rachel up. It usually was. She opened her eyes slowly and whinced at the light streaming in from a barracks window. Growling, she closed her eyes and rolled over on her lower bunk of a bunk bed. She grabbed at her personal drawer a few times before she got it and pulled it open. She grabbed the bottle that held her meds and wrenched it open. She shook it carefully to get just two pills, then recapped the container. She put it back and grabbed the bottle of water by her bed. She popped the pills, washing them down a moment later. While she felt a little better knowing relief was on its way, she also knew the meds won't really kick in for another half an hour. Maybe she could just lay here or something to wait for the meds before she had to-

A blast of trumpet music over the PA gave Rachel a jolt. She swore. She would be expected up and ready in 5 minutes. And with no pain relief.

 

{Niner}

The AI PD-09 considered his conundrum carefully. One of his adopted passions was reading. He did it when ever he could. Due to his synthetic nature and programming, Niner could simply download a book and have the entire work memorized. It was time saving and efficient, something he felt was a AI's duty to be. But there was a...satisfaction of the slow, analog way of "reading" a book. Just taking one word at a time, soaking it in. But that was slow and attention consuming.

There was a mechaical sound that Niner used as a sigh. The life of a self aware AI was always a troubled one. At least his employer would be up soon. He could use the simple task of keeping a meat bag alive.

 The orders were send to all AI's in the area including Eve as she raced down the road along with other patrolling AI's. A couple buildings came into view and the AI's seperated into different directions. Eve's eyes scanned the people she passed by and a couple citizens ran or hid away in fright. Seeing them all scared by her appearance, she doesn't blame them, humans are afraid of dying after all. That wasn't the only thing Eve was thinking about, she knew she had to find this wanted man first before the others do and hide him away somewhere but where is he? The engines in her legs spinned impatiently, if she gets spotted saving this human, she would be shut down. Suddenly her sharp mechanic ears picked up the sound of someone running in barefoot. Eve turned sharply right after the source of the sound and she could easily tell she was getting closer to her target. The wanted man must've known someone was coming as the sound of his running was becoming more fast, desperate. However she quickly caught up to him, stepping right into his path as he crashed right into her. Kyle, the target fell down on the ground leaving Eve completely unphased by the crash. 

 

 He backed away, bombs rained down from his jacket landing on the floor harmlessly. "D-Don't come near me! I didn't do anything wrong!" Now this was the frustrating part, she wasn't programmed to speak so communicating with humans was extremely difficult for her and telling a man to calm down isn't something she can really do. Eve took a step forward but Kyle crawled back even more. “Help…ing.." 

He gave her a bewildered look, "..Helping? You think killing humans is helping this world?!" This man wasn't understanding her at all. Soon the other AIs would come here to scout. This leaves her with only one choice. Before the man could react, Eve used her left arm, the one without her weapon attached, to hit him on the head as he fell onto the floor unconsious. She picked him up and quickly made her way to someone's workshop, the mechanic. The mechanic was the only human currently that trusts Eve and he was also the one that saved her life. Seeing Eve carry the unconsious man on her shoulder, the mechanic gave out a small chuckle. "Still can't properly make people trust you?" Her face remained emotionless however in the inside she could feel herself..amused. Eve dumped Kyle in the workshop leaving the mechanic alone with him. As she left, she send out a message:

Kaoru forced her eyes open, she was exhausted. Thankfully, she had no set time to get up. She lived in the city however...and the city means work...but her living where she does, and she being disabled, helps her get away with some things. She reached for her eye patch, putting the patch on slowly. 

Kaoru sat up and yawned, then standing. She straightened up her bed, and went to go find her some clothes. A simple white low-cut short sleeved shirt, black skinny jeans, and her black hoodie. 

She put everything on in no time, and when she was ready, she started walking out, after pulling her hood on first. She started walking out to the city.

The gas masked stranger was there when he say the machine scanning everyone .Of course,patrolls were a normal thing and fear was a healty reaction from people when they see them.But for him,he didn't feel anything..No fear,no frustration...nothing.Until she attacked Kyle.Panic overtook him even thought he didn't show it on the outside.But this didn't meant that he couldn't help.So...he followed her,staying as stealthy as possible.He was a good stalker and so he managed to get to the workshop undetected.This suprised him a little as he expected for the A.I to go to the great skyscraper which lead to God knows where....Curiosity still eating him,he peek through the window of the workshop, witnessing everything.He was confused of the whole situation wondering why she didn't kill this person.Unfortunately he forgot that he would raise suspision from passengers while he was peeking throght the small window

 

 

Meanwhile the Queen herself still waited for the event to come.Only 30 left.The nothingess of the room became comepletly unamusing to her.And she despised the feeling of nothing to do.Then she got an idea.Since they're going to be a lot of winners in the 1 round of lottery,Why wouldn't she pay them a little "visit"?"Yeah"-she thought with that wicked grin.Except there was one thing she needed.So thought one of the screens,she contacted a employer-She ordered herself a nice machine bodyguard to guard her after the event."Well..better safe than sorry"

Leona tinkered with something. Up in her room, above the streets of Shibuya. Of course, only ten stories up, not the approximate 16,000 feet Cevahir was. Leona plugged in a wire, then grinned happily. This should be it! The Engineer quickly screwed the cover back over the inside of the device she had been working on. She picked it up, and spun it. Still grinning, Leona rushed over to a different room. She leveled her staff, and pressed a button. An energy projectile shot out of the other end, hit the wall, and exploded dramatically. Leona smiled as the now exposed room filled with cold wind. Perfect. Her shotstaff had worked perfectly. Leona skipped happily back over to the room she had dubbed her workshop. Leona had chosen to work down here among the "peasants" as opposed to up in Cevahir for a few reasons. Especially because there were several pieces of equipment and resources that weren't available in the Sky City.

While the gask masked stranger was looking thought the window where the A.I entered,he heard some interesting noises coming from another near by window.Looks like Eve wasn't in the previous workshop sooo...he guessed it wasn't going to hurt if he took a peek here too.And just as he predicted it was another workshop,or maybe the same one connected.But was more interesting to see that other person working so happily.Happiness...something rare to recognise in anybody these days.So he stayed,looking though her small window,hoping he won't get caught

{Rachel}

Rachel gloomily filed into one of the drop ships her unit used. The pain meds were kicking in, but not before she had to deal a lot of light and noise. Why did sergeants have to be so loud?

"Alright, grunts, listen up!" The unit sergeant bellowed.

Rachel managed to hear it with out wincing.

"Just a standard patrol today, though someone has graciously informed us that there is an AI in the area, apparently dealing with specific targets. I won't think I would need to tell you to stay out of its way, but you snot for brains need to be reminded, cause last time one of you sparking forgot!"

"Trevor." Rachel thought.

He had been killed in the cross fire between some sort of conspirator of something and a hunter/killer AI. He...had been a good friend.

"Don't lie." She thought as she looked out the window of the drop ship. "He was more then that. Lie to the higher ups, but not to yourself."

Thinking of the only person who she had connected with, Rachel's gloom deepened as the drop ship took off and headed for Shibuya.

Ryu could be seen on top of a nearby skyscraper surveying the area beneath. He was sent here because it was known that this area had much violent resistance. His mission was to destroy all signs of any resistance and report to the higher ups. Down below, there was little action taking place in Shibuya. "Kyle Hayner has been eliminated." The communicator rang in Ryu's ear. Ryu stood up. "Seems like they got one," Ryu sighed.

Kaoru arrived in Shibuya soon enough, she actually didn't live that far from it. There was obvious commotion in the area, so she tried to stay out of sight. She pulled her hood again, pushing her hair towards her right side. She didn't want to have to use the gun she had with her...but if all else failed, she might have to. 

Kaoru noticed that their were some A.I's in the area too. She made a bad choice coming over here.

Curiosity kills the cat--He needed to learn that.He nearly got a heart attack when the A.I came in his view,moving away from both the window and A.I.He put heis hands behind his head showing no weapons althought his legs were telling his to run.Like a deer caught in headlighs,he was almost paralyzed.But maybe she won't attack him?who knows...He wish he could speak but a voice was needed for that.Something he didn't have.".....Your Highness,the "winning numbers"are already picked.Most of them are in Shibuya"One of the screens spoke again"Tokyo huh.?Charming.Alright,only 15 minutes til this so,make sure the patroll sent there collect the winners and do not,I repeat DO NOT let anyone escape!"the Queen spoke.Calming down again she once again spoke."At least that bastard Kyle was eliminated,wasn't he?""Correct.The message was delivered by assasination unit EVE."She smiled"Just as I thought.I'm sure it was bloody"

Hard yet silent panting escaped the female's lips in weariness. Small beads of sweat ran down the side of her face from all the running and swerving she was doing for the last half an hour. She doesn't know how much ground she covered between her and them but it felt like miles. The female barely slipped away from the people chasing after her. It was a bit of a surprise that there was no sign of them yet, which was a good thing. A certain shadow of a building kept her covered as her back pressed against the hard, smooth surface. She drew out another breath before reaching down to the small black bag that she dropped at her feet. The redhead made sure all of it's contents were in place before sealing it shut again and slinging it over her shoulder. It was a bit heavy from the amount of things she managed to snag, mostly being food and some medical supplies. Crimson eyes scanned the area for any potential AIs that might hinder her from getting back home but she didn't spot any. Looks like those bastards has other things to worry about today... regardless I should keep my guard up. Touka started at a walk again before picking up her gait, swiftly moving past people to avoid bumping into anyone. She wanted to get out of this goddamn area before anything was to happen.

Empty orange eyes stared down at the table in front of him almost in thought despite not actually wondering about anything in particular. The AI was sitting at the small table at a cafe. The woman that he was assisting for the last few days seemed to have left after thanking him for his services, making his assignment complete.  No new orders came in, so he was pretty much at a lost in terms of how to spend the rest of the day being that he hasn't formulated any interests yet. Finding no reason to continue sitting there in a daze, Rabac moved off of chair before moving his way away from the small cafe. From the many people walking past him, he spotted a hooded person in the crown. From the small figure, it appeared to be a female. For some reason, she stood out from the rest of the civilians, but didn't make any advances, as she wasn't considered to be a threat yet.

{Niner}

Niner's four legs clicked across the marble floor of his owning company's office. He had been expecting a task to be downloaded to him, but nothing had come. He stopped in front of a huge desk with a huge man behind it.

"Query:" the AI intoned, "is there any assignments for me?"

The man looked up with a put upon look on his face.

"No, PD-09." He answered. "You are not needed now."

The flaps around Niner's main sensory input altered position to roughly replicate a look of surprise.

"Baffled query: But...Mr. Peterson mentioned that he had a client ready for today."

The man rolled his eyes.

"Well, who ever the client was backed out." He said irritably.

Stupid robots.

Niner looked away, then looked back, his flaps rearranging to look hopeful.

"Hopeful supplication: Then, might I have the day off?"

"Yeah, what ever." The man said, waving his hand for Niner to go away. "Just get out of here, rust bucket."

Niner turned and walked away, feeling justified in not thanking the clerk because of the name he had called The AI. Niner took great pride in his lack of oxidation.

 

{Rachel}

A little ways from Touka's position, a patrol drop ship landed, letting off two figures. Rachel looked looked at her patrol buddy, a rookie named Cecil, with some distain. Of course, she would get stuck with a freaking rookie. She gave the drop ship one last glare before starting her rounds.

"Come on, rook." She barked at Cecil, who jumped to attention then followed her.

Heh, almost there. That prideful thought hovered through her head as she was nearing the exit of the city, although she was running out of breath again. The bag was weighing her down more than she anticipated but she refused to drop anything to lighten the load. Her running slowed down a bit as she tried to catch her breath again. As the female glanced back to make sure those men from the shop wasn't there, something worse occurred. Two figures were following after her, she could recognize the uniform, as she had a run in with the patrol units on some occasions. But for them to show up now of all times was a bit of a headache. The redhead sucked in a breath and broke out at a run. She trailed off the path she usually took home and make a sharp turn around a corner, not wanting to get her family caught if she went straight home. If anything, this was going to end up being a cat and mouse chase. She didn't care if there were any AIs around at the moment. Her only objective now was to get away from them and out of their sight. 

The screens in the office enlighten it like never before,showing footage from different regions including Tokyo.With this,Valeriaknew that it has begun.Down below,every single tv screen,billboard,radio,A.I and patroll unit was sent the same agonazing message:

 

Attention Ladies and Gentelman

Please stop whatever you're doing at the moment

Because you might be the winner of our 250 anniversary Lottery

That's right!EVERYONE WAS AND WILL BE PARTICIPANT of our game

The gas maked stranger was now completely paralyzed.Sure,the commercials sounded promising but nothing felt right.Now with the A.I in front of him,in the sheer moment he decided to do what his feet were begging him to do:Run for his life.

 Eve wasn't surprised at the man's reaction as he fell to the ground in shock. What did surprise her however, was that usually a human would  start begging to mercy or screaming for help..why is he just looking at her? Suddenly a message appeared right before her eyes and the same message could be heard from all directions, must be a big deal. Apparently there was a lottery and the winners have to recieve some sort of prize whether they want to or not. Then a couple picture of the winners shooked her with disbelief. One photo was someone with the same exact look as the mechanic, his name was Kazuki Ishimoto? Eve never asked his name in fear of him being currently wanted and if he was he would be in danger. That wasn't the only photo, the man that she just scared was also there, Allister Chernoku. All the AIs and patrols in the entire regions is now in charge of bringing the winners. When Eve was done with the message she realized the spot where Allister had fallen was gone, he must've ran, knowing she would bring him to the authories. 

 Deep down, Eve didn't want to do this but she had no choice. Her boosters burst into life and she glided off at the direction themasked man ran off too. It didn't take long for her to catch up. Afterall, almost nobody can outrun her due to her superhuman speed. She stopped right in front of him and her right arm transformed into a large cannon as she pointed it right at him. “Allister Chernoku, come with me.”

 As Eve left, the mechanic was left alone with an unconsious man half drooling on the floor. Kazuki let out a sigh, "Well, I guess it's time to take you to someone I know." He rolled up his sleeves and dragged the sleeping man down a flight of stairs. He wasn't as strong as that AI, she's a robot after all. After a few seconds, Kazuki reached a metal door and knocked lightly on it a few times and a grown man in his 30's wearing a doctor suit came out the door. "Kazuki, another person I have to change?" His voice sounded rough like dry sand paper. The mechanic made a face like he was hurt. "Not even a hello? Maybe it's because you're smoking so many cigarettes. C'mon Shoji." The man Kazuki called Shoji frowned. "I told you to stop trying to convince me to quit smoking. Helping rioters by changing their names and appearance was your idea wasn't it?" Kazuki laughed, "You're right, the plan is working because your'e good at plastic surgery." He gestured to the unconsious man laying by his side. "Eve brought this guy in just now, can you tell him what's going to happen to him for me? I need to get a couple things from the black market." 

Shoji muttered something like, "I don't know why I took in when you were a child," as he took the man from Kazuki, dragging him into the room before slamming the metal door. 

 'I know you can change one day,' Kazuki thought as he headed back up the stairs. 'Anyone can.' Locking the mechanic shop from the outside, he made his way toward the black market. However while on his way,all the screens changed into a message about the winners of some kind of lottery, as the name appeared one by one, goosebumps rised up his back as he spotted his name and picture. His heart began to beat fast, 'This is not good, usually I would be happy winning a lottery but I have a bad feeling about this.' The name he currently have is just a fake to hide his true identity, did they found out? Kazuki's feet broke into a run heading to his workshop. He needed Shoji to change his appearance and name again, maybe Eve could lie that she found his body and he sucided or something. 'Just 2 more blocks...'

He rolled up his sleeves and dragged the sleeping man down a flight of stairs. He wasn't as strong as that AI, she's a robot after all. After a few seconds, Kazuki reached a metal door and knocked lightly on it a few times and a grown man in his 30's wearing a doctor suit came out the door. "Kazuki, another person I have to change?" His voice sounded rough like dry sand paper. The mechanic made a face like he was hurt. "Not even a hello? Maybe it's because you're smoking so many cigarettes. C'mon Shoji." The man Kazuki called Shoji frowned. "I told you to stop trying to convince me to quit smoking. Helping rioters by changing their names and appearance was your idea wasn't it?" Kazuki laughed, "You're right, the plan is working because your'e good at plastic surgery." He gestured to the unconsious man laying by his side. "Eve brought this guy in just now, can you tell him what's going to happen to him for me? I need to get a couple things from the black market." 

Shoji muttered something like, "I don't know why I took in when you were a child," as he took the man from Kazuki, dragging him into the room before slamming the metal door. 

 'I know you can change one day,' Kazuki thought as he headed back up the stairs. 'Anyone can.' Locking the mechanic shop from the outside, he made his way toward the black market. However while on his way,all the screens changed into a message about the winners of some kind of lottery, as the name appeared one by one, goosebumps rised up his back as he spotted his name and picture. His heart began to beat fast, 'This is not good, usually I would be happy winning a lottery but I have a bad feeling about this.' The name he currently have is just a fake to hide his true identity, did they found out? Kazuki's feet broke into a run heading to his workshop. He needed Shoji to change his appearance and name again, maybe Eve could lie that she found his body and he sucided or something. 'Just 2 more blocks...' 

Kaoru arrived in Shibuya soon enough, she actually didn't live that far from it. There was obvious commotion in the area, so she tried to stay out of sight. She pulled her hood again, pushing her hair towards her right side. She didn't want to have to use the gun she had with her...but if all else failed, she might have to. 

Kaoru noticed that their were some A.I's in the area too. She made a bad choice coming over here.

It wasn't an easy chase.From the life on the street,Allister was a good and a tricky runner making twisted turns in different blocks,making shortcuts in any way possible.But of course,it's impossible to beat anything that is designed to pass human borders.And so he got cornered,with a cannon in front of his face.Freakin great.With his mind,his insticks were telling his to grab a weapon.That's when he accidently touched an electronic device of some sort only to feel all of its sparks of energy completely rushing throught its hand.It startled his,jerking his hand away sending the electriciry in the cannon threwing her shifting hand away.With that he saw an opportunity to run having no time to sink in the situation that just happen.He ran and ran,having to push and bump in people in the crowd away.One of these people was Kaori.He wished he could apologize but hopefully anyone will understand

{Rachel}

There is an old policeman theory that if you see someone running, you should probably chase them. Rachel preferred to think of herself as a copper rather then a soldier, it being easier on the conscious and all, and thus prescribed to many of the theories built up for policing.

Rachel sighed as she saw a red headed girl break into a run in, what looked like to the Patrol Officer, an away kind of way.

"Halt!" Rachel called out after the red headed girl.

It rarely worked, but again, easier on the conscious to try.

"Regional Patrol!"

Rachel started to run after the fleeing suspicious person, but slowed down when she couldn't hear her partner join in. She looked back to see Cecil was staring at the big announcement.

"Come on, rookie!" She yelled and took off again.

"But-" he called back.

"NOW!" She bellowed and felt proud that she managed to hit near drill sergeant tone.

The Rookie Patrol Officer scrabbled to catch up with Rachel and the girl they were pursuing.

An announcement was going on and Touka wasn't paying and attention to it, as she thought it had nothing to do with her. At least. she thought so up until she heard her name. Crimson optics widened as they drifted towards one of the big TV screens on one of the buildings near her. In that entire list of names, she could see hers as clear as day. She was calling bullshit right now. Whatever this little thing was that she was going to win, she was sure as hell that it wasn't gonna benefit her or her family one bit. Almost by a strike of bad luck, a deep crack in the ground caught on to the tip of her foot, causing her to trip, skidding on the hard concrete before coming to a halt. Without trying to waste any time, she tried pushed herself back to her feet and tried to start sprinting again. Due to the pain in her foot, she only found herself limping. It was going to be a matter of minutes, no- seconds,  before those patrol officers caught up to her.

It took her only a second to realize why.

His name was called for the game....and hers was too.

Kaoru imminently started running after him, catching up in a bit of time.

"S-Sorry I yelled at you! I can see why you are running. And truthfully, I should be running to." she said, holding her hood so it would stay on her head.

From the whole situation that was happening,he at least expected someone to join him.He simply nodded understanding "his" reason why he would join him but it could make the escape harder.But least it's better running away with someone than alone.Now the biggest problem was that his feet didn't know where were they going

 When the electricity hit her weaponed arm, Eve felt herself being forced to step away and that gave her target enough time to escape for now. She wasn't expecting that, seeing he had no weapons she automatically concluded this man was harmless but he seemed he had something up his sleeves. The information about Allister having an ability stored in her mind and she quickly regained her composture. Don't come near the target, take him out from afar unless further notice is what Eve determined. Seeing how Allister was heading into a crowd Eve jumped high into the air above the crowd. When the people spotted her, they began to panic scattering into different directions. Underneath her feet, fire roared out allowing her to fly, making it easier to find her target. However what she found wasn't just one target, running next to Allister was a girl and who recongized her appearance from the TV who's also the winner for the prize. 'Kill two birds with one stone..' She aimed her cannon at them and waited as it charged until it was almost the size of a car. Eve wasn't trying to kill them, she's calculating where the shot should hit in order for them to be knocked out. Finally it was finished and Eve released the powerful shot as it landed a couple inches behind Allister and Kaoru. The shot exploded as it reached the ground knocking both of them off their feet as debris from the explosion rained down while smoke covered the area. Eve didn't hesitate as she went right into the smoke in order to find her two targets.

{Rachel}

With her red headed quarry's spill, Rachel felt more confident about actually catching up. She put on an extra burst of speed to get closer.

"Come on!" She called out. "Just want to talk."

"Under article 7.5, sub-" the rookie tried to quote.

"Can it, rook!" Rachel yelled at her partner. "Start that, and you'll scare the crap out of anyone."

The Portal Officer got ahead of the red headed girl and turned and put out her hands to stop the girl.

"Just stop."

 

{Niner}

If he could, Niner would have frowned. His Internet friend had yet to reply to a message he sent her. He was sure his friend was a female because it said so on her profile on the forum he had met her on. They had met over a heated philosophical debate about the quality of life and had "spoken" together on several occasions afterward. She was apparently having some problem deciding on doing what Niner could only describe as the right thing or to keep her head down. He did hope she hadn't done anything drastic.

Shutting down his link to the web, Niner prepared to go inside of a theatre that was showing a live preformance of "The Pirates of Penzance" when he saw a sign that said the preformance was cancelled. This annoyed Niner, and so he decided to show this annoyance by uttering a curse word, as was organic tradition. He reconsidered when he saw a group of human adolesnces walking past him.

"Self Query: What should I do now on my day off?" He asked quietly to himself, another human habit he occasionally indulged himself in.

Kaoru was knocked to the ground by the cannon. These A.I's were crazy strong. She managed to take her eyepatch off, and used her power to change her appearance to that of her brother. Maybe they would spare her. 

After she did this however, she fell unconscious, and would not be able to take any psychical pain, or the illusion would be gone.

Touka stopped as the officer came in front of her, slightly gritting her teeth. She was already thinking about roundhouse kicking the female but trying to make another run for it would only fail. Not only that, but her legs were already tired out from running. Crimson eyes slightly narrowed at her words and she stayed silent for a moment before speaking. "And what is it exactly do you want to talk about?" She almost hissed. Even facing the authorities, she was cold as ever with her tone. "If it's about that announcement, then I'm not interested." She moved the black bag more onto her back before crossing her arms. "Besides, it's going to be nothing but a load of bullshit."

At the sound of the announcement ringing through his head, Rabac stood there  in silence while obtaining this new information before blinking back into reality. The girl he was watching was gone. Just as he was going to glance around to see where she had gone, the ground shook, hard. Dust and debris rushed into his face, along with a whole bunch of people shoving him out of the way, most likely running away from something. He followed the direction everyone was heading away from. When he rounded the corner, he found two people on the ground through the smoke. From the data he received a few minutes ago, one of them were the winner of the lottery that were to be brought to the authorities. The other one on the other hand could not be recognized, as the face did not match with the name. "Kaoru isn't here...." he said said almost to himself as he started to move to the two of them through the smoke. He already sensed another AI nearyby, but perhaps they needed his assistants in case they became more resistant.
