At four points around the mountain known as Evraius the Teragren captains went over the situation once more to be sure there was no confusion; this was a volunteer mission, there was a high risk of death, and once the climbers passed the Teragen gates onto the premises of Evraius they were no longer under the protection of the Teragren army, and nobody would help but the rest of their team members.Of the 19 volunteers that passed the test to be accepted into the Evraius mission there were now four teams, each of 4 or 5 people. The army had brought them to the four gates that separated Evraius from the Kingdom of Teragren. The strategy was that they may be more effective if they could split the Kamyn attention and thus have a better survival rate. Now the four teams sat at their respective gates, facing the world changing mountain that would be their future; Evraius. The teams were split up in the following ways:Gold Team, made up of Drale Vay, Amber Dolor, Cornelius Bastion, and Sandrew.Silver Team, made up of Sonya Bishop, Kinzoku Mors, Averain, and Jasper SummersIron Team, made up of Alice Thornsberry, Emert Berger, Morgan Etiam Vinctum, and Doctor Pellinore WartropPlatinum Team, made up of Apollo, Lance Alburght, Varion Hain, Fairy, Aya Kozakura, Sairi KozakuraEach of the gates rumbled opened painfully and slowly, with a history of destruction and cruelty beyond their metal bars."Okay." Each captain spoke to the respective teams as they mounted their horses once again and steered back toward the road."You all have 5 minutes to greet your new teammates and enter the gates. The magical locks will automatically close them again after that point. There won't be any returning until you have something substantial to return with." The gist of each captain's parting words were. They had all rehearsed together so the information would be similar for each group. It also helped mask the fear.And then each group was left alone, each with a gate and a beaten dirt path beyond it sitting before them. It was time to start the introductions and get going.It was time to start the climb.Watching every gate through spectral projections, Adriev pondered. He stood in a pure white room with 5 others. After watching the four teams for a few moments he turned to his peers: Efenton, Girver, Dante, and Vortimer. Only one was missing."So..." He spoke slowly, weighing every word. "What shall we do about this?"

Adriev adjusted himself and tried to dash away as the geyser Sandrew created spouted up underneath him. Singed regardless, he side stepped and started sprinting to Sandrew's position. As he did, though, Sandrew's blade sealed his power of mental links temporarily, keeping him from reading actions as clearly, and eliminating one of his advantages. Still, he readied one of his blades and stabbed towards Sandrew viciously. "Those name are meaningless to me! Ants I've long since crushed and forgotten!" He yelled as he attacked. As he struck though, he suddenly hit with a flying gauntlet thrown by Varion. He turned around, fuming, and a gigantic pillar of fire erupted from his blade, searing it's way towards Varion. "Know your place, worm!" As he spoke, he saw both the Doctor and Kinzoku were readying for something, and that Jasper had just begun to come at him two. He reentered, held his two blades firmly and waited for them. First came Kinzoku. Her hammer slammer against the wall near him and managed to tear off some his royal armor in the meantime, but he used it's size as an advantage, for as fast as she was using it, he was also rather quick. He dashed under it after it hit his shoulder and dove towards Kinzoku with a vicious slash, at the same time using his other sword against Jasper's strike, releasing a huge amount of energy in the parry and most likely sending Jasper flying back. After that strike he only then realized the golem that had been summoned in the room. He didn't have time to adjust when it stomped down on him. Then there was silence for a moment. Soon though, the golem was rumbling, and it's leg was lifted him, revealing Adriev picking it up from underneath. "Such an unoriginal beast, Doctor. Come now." He channeled all his strength into throwing it some way across the room for the moment, though he seemed scratched up from being crushed. That was when two independent fighters slammed into him with vicious attacks of their own. Tristan with his strike, and Conrelius's companion Betsy. He hmanaged to hold his swords out to parry them slightly, but nearly buckled under the weight of both attacks. "You..." he turned to Betsy "you're very curious. I'll have to study you a bit after I've killed everyone here and begun my new age." He turned to Tristan. "And you... that name...Amelia Mahou, it sounds familiar, but I can't seem to place it. Someone I improved this world by killing I assume?" Adriev discharged blast of energy, giving himself at least a foot or two of space to menauver, even as Cornelius attempted to bind him down with hardlight, which partially was working. As he was bound by them, Vay's arrows hit him in his torso and shoulders, doing some further damage to him as he attempted to free himself. After a few hits he ripped off the hard light shackles and faced his next opponent... Sonya. "Ha! So the Kamyn pretender thinks she can face me? This should be humorous!" He readied both his blades, but kept an eye on the rest of the part as well." Evra responded to Sanya then. "Very well then. I shall supercharge your nanomachine use temporarily. This is exceptionally dangerous, but you seem to understand the risks." Then Sanya could feel every element of her powers growing stronger, unregulated... dangerous... to both her and her enemy. "I shall go assist in the bridge now. Evra followed Amber into the bridge, which was already a huge mess after the battle between Adriev and Sanya beforehand. A single console seemed to be the controls for the ship. "Quickly, use you nanomachines to interface with it!" Evra instructed Amber. On the other side of a huge glass panel, their home planet stared back at them... and the red glow of a charging laser slowly illuminating it.

"The only thing insignificant is you!" Sandrew's voice shook as he yelled this, dra wing on his next used form, he switched to his Ash form, throwing and creating smoke everywhere around Adriev. Clouds and clods of it. "You're insignificant because you pretend to be some higher power when all you are is a man who got overwhelmed by the power he thought he deserved! You think you have a right to control us all! Choose our lives! Well you don't! You never did! You're no more powerful than us because we're humans, just like you. Even if you don't remember it! Even if every human bit of you has been replaced, no matter how I hate it, you started human, and you're no greater than a human!" Sandrew's hair and eyes began deteriorating into a darker brown, regardless of his form as he changed over to his Darkness form, sending whips of darkness at Adrev now instead of ash.

Only by letting go of the hammer and jumping back as fast as she could was Kinzoku able to avoid getting her leg cut off. However, there was quite a nasty gash. She grimaced. Lots of blood and lots of pain. Both of which aren't exactly fun. She staggered up to her full height and was beginning to summon her ingots around her again, but she heard Jasper's call. Armor... Metal armor. Perfect. She summoned more strength, manipulating metal that wasn't hers was a bit more difficult, and pried apart Adriev's armor.

The Doctor leaped off the golem and dismissed it before it hit the walls, and landed in a crouch. He was thankful to Jasper for restoring him, his physical strength was back up to par. His book fell open in front of him. He looked at the page. He looked at Adriev. He looked at the page. He looked at Adriev. No. Not worth it. Instead, he flipped his page to jorogumo. He pulled out a vial from his bag, and milked some venom from Muriel. He then dismissed the spider, and summoned his bow. Pouring the venom over the arrowheads, he then aimed for the chinks in Adriev's armor Kinzoku was creating. Perfect. "Perhaps this'll rank higher on the creativity scale." The Doctor said, then began to shoot rapidly.

pushing himself back from Adriev momentarily Tristan glared "You don't remember the only person who ever entered this mountain to escape alive!" His eyes filled with hate for Adriev holding his blade out infront of him flames began to rush forward "Amelia Mahou the only person in Evarius to bear the name of Magic the word Magic comes from her name she would never tell me why as a child but you must know you have to know your the one who named Magic magic so why was my mother the only person to ever bear a word for magic in her name and why was it out of all the Kamyn on this mountain she could name you with such a hateful but loving look in her face tell me Adriev tell ME!!! She left this mountain 19 years ago and not long after i was born I'm tied to this place somehow and i think its about dam time i knew how ADRIEV!" rushing forward Tristan aimed for Adrievs neck as this time he went at him full out both Tristan's fire and strengthening abilities were now active and running through both him and his blade even while questioning the mean infront of him Tristan surged towards him with intent to kill

(Gosh I'm sorry guys!!)

..... the end huh? I don't think so...

Everything living has its end and its beginning, it's genesis and revelation...

The "logic of humans" would say, "What is contrary to the living, should not be living... therefore it can't be living" (Utopia, 0).

However, what happens... when a complex phenomenon is conjured... such that it defies the very logic of these... humans?

Would you call it a miracle?

There were no remains left of Alfeduir Birsingr, or Ryu. However, one once could sense a lingering and faint ray of his life in the collision. His so-called quantum body scattered into particles as his very life-force disappeared without a trace. However, a gathering of light particles still willed themselves together to create a giant body of particles created from stars and other sources of light in the Universe. Awaken. Ryu opened his eyes once more and looked around the area of the illustrious phenomenons the solar system, that he and Adreiv once fought on, produced. "I would like to gaze upon this for an eterinity," Ryu said now admiring something he'd never get to see if he was a human. He remembered Adreiv and new exactly what to do. With speeds faster than light itself, Ryu charged to the quadrant of space Adreiv and the other humans were on.

"Name no longer Ryu.. No.. that was my human name.... My new name, as I reborn as a god, is Seraph"

Adriev betrayed Ryu and left him on a self-destructing planet, then returned to launch the Evraius into the atmosphere to fire on the planet and kill all life so he could recreate it. Sanya went to fight Adriev in the bridge, and the fight spilled over into the reactor room, where Adriev went full final-form and is now taking on all members of the party, except for Amber who is at the bridge trying to stop the ship from firing. Also now it seems Ryu is coming back in a new form. And that's what ya missed on Evraius!)

She needed everyone on the bridge. She needed everyone out of the room and to a safe spot. Please.

Please, she begged them silently. Go.

Sanya knew this would be suicide. Good thing she was used to suicide missions.

Evra look over Amber's progress. "It's working. The ship is stabilizing somewhat. Please keep channeling power, Adreiv's influence id difficult to overcome"

Adriev was knocked to his knee for a moment as Betsy struck him. He cursed her and began to get up when he was enveloped by a cloud of smoke and ash....

Sandrew's...

The boys words no longer phased him. As these people had climbed the mountain and he had formulated his reset plan he had slowly closed all the doors to the man he once was. There was nothing left to feel in those words any more. He was only Kamyn now. He was a god...

Then the whips tore into his armor, he only being able to dodge a few of the strikes. He leaped back and glared at Sandrew. His royal armor was beginning to crack and break from all the attacks. Just then Kinzoku began to pry apart each piece. These damned humans. There was no way. There couldn't be a way that they could beat him. One by one, though, his armor fell away.

Just in time for a few of the arrows from the doctor to strike him. His nanomachines stopped most of the venom, but the damage was still done. He panted.

But this battle was not finished.

Power surged around him. So dense it fielded it's own somewhat noticeable gravitational field. Black swirling energy, which was now clearly more science than any supernatural element. He caught Tristan's blade in his hand as the boy struck. As blood coursed down his arm he looked Tristan in the eye with a sinster grin.

"Amelia. Now I recall. She was so... naive. Charming. But naive. She used to be in our ranks, I even fancied her for a time. Ha! Hahaha." He suddenly laughed as he recalled something. "A foolish being might have called it love. She certainly did. Perhaps for a fleeting moment I did too." He brought his own blade to Tristan's neck in an instant, and his smile grew wider.

"She was a naive fool, and she left out of her own stupidity. Pregnant even..." Adriev moved in close for his final words. They was a sinister edge to them, but they rang clearly true, he had no reason to lie now.

"Pregnant with my child."

He used the sheer force of his power to focus his nanomachines into a concussive blast which knocked Tristan back. As if brushing aside this new revelation, he raised his sword towards Sanya.

"You want death then? Your god is happy to fulfill your prayer."

Every possible nanomachine he had coalesced into various weapons, energy particles, superheated metals. They surrounded him and as if like a jet engine suddenly turned on, he sped across the room with all his weapons in tow, searing their way across the room towards Sanya. Adriev was hurt, but more dedicated than ever.

"Let us end this then!"

(What about Neo Ryu?)

(He hasn't actually made his presence known to the rest of the group yet, so I'm still leaving how he wants to do his entrance up to him)

(Sorry.. I wanted to wait until MDS posted again.. here we goooo!!!! :D)

"I won't make it in time," Seraph said as he sped across the many solar systems to get to the desired location. He looked at his bright blue hands and closed his eyes, reminicing the past. When he was human, his master on Earth once said, "It doesn't matter what your powers are, but how you use them!" Those words filled Seraph's thoughts as he flew past a couple of stars and planets. "Time for me to stop playing around.. eh? Master?" Seraph said. He concentrated hard on his location. "Spatial Warping!" Seraph shouted. The space around him twirled as if he was entering a black hole.

The next thing Seraph knew, he was standing between Adreiv and Sanya seconds before Adreiv charged at her. "Quantum Static," Seraph said outstretching his hand. The light molecules around Adreiv excited and gave off energy similar to electricity. Thus, it created an electric field around Adreiv with enough force to hold him in place.

"Hello. I don't think our fight was over," Seraph said to the paralyzed Adreiv. He looked over to Sanya, who was ever-ready in letting her attack loose on Adreiv. "Woah, girl are you trying to kill yourself?! With that amount of power, you can possibly destroy this entire ship!" Seraph shouted. He then looked over to the battle-worn humans. They've been fighting all this time.... Even though I told them not to worry... Seraph's thoughts consumed him. He then looked back at his enemy, Adrev.

"Girl, don't kill yourself by using this attack. It isn't the only way to finish this battle. This battle isn't over yet."

(Also, Seraph is Ryu's new name)

The Doctor stood from his crouch he had used to shoot his arrows. He saw someone materialize and stop the action. Really? Really? Adriev had been reduced to nothing, yet this glory hogger comes in at the very end and acts as if he has some right to this fight. The Doctor opened his book to a well worn page. This would end soon, very soon. The Doctor summoned his Vukodlak, John. The beast stood eight feet tall with rippling muscle, with a head of a wolf, and the body of a bear. The Doctor mounted his loyal friend, and they rode into battle. John blew right past Seraph, bumping into him a little. Okay, bumping into him a lot. "I apologize good sir!" The Doctor called back to Seraph, though his tone suggested he didn't really mean that. The Doctor and his mount went crashing into the Head Kamyn, with a flurry of snarls and claws.

~~~~
Kinzoku took a breather. Woo, using someone else's metal was tough. She glanced at Varion and smiled. She was reenergized by his still consistent attacks. She spun her ingots around her, and they formed into blades. She held two of them as she dashed into battle, slicing and dicing with grace and speed, the swords that spun around her doing the same.
Evra look over Amber's progress. "It's working. The ship is stabilizing somewhat. Please keep channeling power, Adreiv's influence id difficult to overcome"
He used the sheer force of his power to focus his nanomachines into a concussive blast which knocked Tristan back. As if brushing aside this new revelation, he raised his sword towards Sanya.
"You want death then? Your god is happy to fulfill your prayer."
Every possible nanomachine he had coalesced into various weapons, energy particles, superheated metals. They surrounded him and as if like a jet engine suddenly turned on, he sped across the room with all his weapons in tow, searing their way across the room towards Sanya. Adriev was hurt, but more dedicated than ever.
"Let us end this then!"
The force of the attack that Adriev put out pushed Sandrew away, harshly, farther and farther back and into the control room, he reverted to normal for the most part and slammed into the wall. "I... I want to... Protect... them... I... I want to protect everyone... if only I were strong enough..." he stopped moving, barely conscious still.
Jasper was about to strike at Adriev with Blighter again, but then he saw Sandrew fly into a wall before nearly blacking out. [Man that guy just can't take a beating.] Jasper thought. Fortunetly for Sandrew, though, Jasper did respect that he always seemed to keep going, despite constantly losing energy. "Hang on kid, I've got you." Jasper told Sandrew, summoned Recompense, and used it's power to heal Sandrew.
"Got it." Amber said to Evra, sweat beginning to trickle down her brow. Channling her nanobots into the machine was making Amber feel light headed, but she knew she needed to keep going. After all, the fate of her entire planet seemed to depend on her right now, and she refused to let so many people die because she was weak.
Sanya watched Adriev fly towards her. Her attack wasn't ready...no...She...she couldn;t...
That was when Serafine, alone, appeared, forming a somewhat living shield. "Not today, Adriev." The Phoenix spoke, her melodic voice permeating the entire ship. "I will not allow you to end Sanya's final sacrifice. And I believe everyone here wants to ensure you die." Her flames grew bigger, a shield of fire. "Go, Sanya. And be a good girl."
Serafine detonated herself, an explosions of pure energy that would most likely halt Adriev's advance. It would buy enough time...if the others jumped in.
"Get him! Keep him back, I need more time!" Sanya cried.
