The 2011 Game of the Year? I personally think Uncharted 4 will be the last in the series. I believe it will top both the second, and third. Cheers, -Aang

June 24, 201411 yr Uncharted 3 was good. But it was still nowhere near as good as Uncharted 2. Hehehe, that's debatable. Regardless, both games were very well done and I don't expect to see any less from the fourth installment. Cheers, -Aang

June 24, 201411 yr Hehehe, that's debatable. Regardless, both games were very well done and I don't expect to see any less from the fourth installment. Cheers, -Aang Uncharted 3 was anti-climactic comparatively and it was very clear that it was kind of a obligatory sequel just because they had to make one. It's not a bad game (on the contrary, it's great.) but I feel it was kind of pointless and a little forced in several areas. The only things that really added to the franchise for me were the flashbacks to Drake's childhood and how he met Sully. Everything else is nowhere near the level of Uncharted 2, for me. Not in story, character development (of which there's really none until the final cutscene) or even spectacle. I'm hoping, with the power of next-gen, Uncharted 4 completely blows 2 and 3 out of the water. The added effect of this potentially being Drake's 'final adventure' and the fact that he's been out of it for a couple years really adds a new layer of depth to this game, as opposed to 3 which was just another treasure hunt that sort of tied in with both Drake and Sully's pasts. And even that really went nowhere given how the villains went out so poorly. Edited June 24, 201411 yr by Kaweebo
June 25, 201411 yr I just finished playing Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, and I'm very psyched for A Thief's End! I've yet to play Golden Abyss since I don't have a Vita, but I'll get to that soon enough. I think that all three games are amazing and unparalleled in storytelling and summer blockbuster action. I mean seriously, these games are like movies, and they remind me so much of Indiana Jones because of the treasure hunting and bad guys and so forth. I am thinking that A Thief's End will be the final game in the Uncharted series, and as such, it should be the most emotionally compelling, action packed, roller coaster ride of a last game! BUT I DON'T WANT DRAKE TO DIE! THE TITLE OF THE GAME KINDA INDICATES THAT HE'LL DIE! D:
June 25, 201411 yr I have a lot of faith in Neil Druckmann. He's doing a lot of the writing for Uncharted 4. In case someone doesn't know, he's the one who wrote the masterpiece that is The Last of Us. Uncharted 4 has an extremely huge chance of blowing 2 and 3 out of the water. I'm more worried about the multiplayer aspect. It was beautiful in 2 and 3 trashed it, becoming the TF2 of PlayStation (Stat Hats). Then again, Thief's End could be the Crystal Skull of Uncharted. Drake will definitely throw in the towel at the end of the game though.
